Beautiful, quiet campground. Nice amenities and a mix of great campsites (from tents to large class As). Wonderful area to visit and many interesting sites nearby.

the campground was quiet (awesome) stay was good. the camp site could use a little more work; but I did see progress. bathroom was great! loved the private shower (but they do need a chair inside for seniors)

Very disappointed that Charlottesville KOA did not enforce safe Covid practices. When I checked in employee behind counter was not wearing a mask, nor were some other guests. No signs encouraging visitors to practice social distance, wear masks, etc. Small Country Campground in Louisa is doing an amazing job with Covid safety! We paid extra for a deluxe site which was right in a busy road:(

We arrived late and Lisa saw us struggling to find our way, got up and helped us back into our campsite. I thought we had woke up the entire neighborhood. but her quick response saved what would have otherwise been a terrible evening for us. She was so gracious the next morning. I would stay here again anytime we are passing through or even as a destination. Very well run campground!!

Clean with new sites, but our site had no grass at all. Gravel was hard on the dog's feet. Pull thru sites have no road to get around them if all pull thru sites are full. Satisfactory for our 2-night stay, though.

The property was well maintained including the cabins and bathrooms. The staff was very nice and the store has everything you need. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful rural setting. Nice level site drained with fresh gravel. No problems getting in or hooking up. The private washrooms were nicely set up and maintained. We were early season with no kids but I am sure the entertainment options for them are just as nice.

We had an excellent stay. Very nice and clean campground. Bath house appears to have been newly remodeled. It looked beautiful and very clean. Thank you for a nice vacation week!!

I'm hesitant to say too many positive things as we want to keep this gem to ourselves! This is a beautiful area and park. Lots of pull through spots for RVs. Really nice and clean shower/bathrooms. Great location and the cabins are spacious and very nice. We'll be back!

Check in was a delightful process. The agent was kind, courteous and very helpful. She made our stay great. It was conveniently located and we had a wonderful experience.

This campground is great! Clean, neat nice large sites especially for big rigs. Only down fall is the entrance and exist there is potential for a lot of damage if you are not paying attention! There is a large dip and appears people have scraped their jacks for rear bumper. Also the hill leaving from the lower area is steep and windy!

Loving the upgrades and responsiveness of the mgmt. We selected a site, but after checking it out visually, we moved to another because the intital was a bit wet and with a white dog, it would be a disaster. When mgmt. heard we had moved because of the wetness, they were oin it immediately, adding gravel to drain. Awesome. Love the location of this campground too. Give these guys 5 stars!!

One of my favourite KOAs! Great staff, clean facilities, comfortable bed (Kamping Kabin). I stay here at least once a year!

The place is obviously new or remodeled. The property has a nice farm feel and I am sure will be just splendid in a few years, but right now there is no pavement and tons and tons of fresh dirt which when I pulled in late was a giant mud bog. The next day when checking out, I was going to purchase LP gas, but was told that no one could do that as she was the only one there and wasn’t trained.

Customer service was great! We really enjoyed our peaceful visit and appreciate all the help the owner gave us with a problem we had with our RV. We definitely will return to this campground!

Looks like the campground is undergoing some much needed renovations. Brush cleared and new gravel for several sites. Also some sites look larger than before. We had a nice pull through site with lots of privacy. Staff is friendly. Had a relaxing stay

I was disappointed to see the front desk employee never wear a face mask when customers entered the store. Considering we have been dealing with COVID for over a year and the state has a mask mandate, I would have expected to see this. Especially considering the KOA receipt has a COVID waiver on it. Employees should be enforcing the rules, not becoming a health risk.

Very nice KOA! Recently expanded/enlarged with spaced out sites. Nice layout where u don’t feel like you are in a parking lot on top of each other. Bathrooms clean and store is very modern and well stocked. Staff were kind and very helpful with any requests.

We really liked the small cabin with porch swing. It was close the the bathrooms which were all very well maintained. It had water available close to the cabin and kept us dry and warm or as cool as we wanted with the HVAC and ceiling fan. Only wish the bedframe was a queen size rather than a double/full size. It was the perfect compliment to our friends who were there in their RV.

Second time staying. Campground is very clean and the store seems to always have that one item we left behind. Perfect jump off point for wineries and breweries. Will be going back soon.

Sites we a bit tight and sloped. All the gravel makes walking a dog very difficult.

We just stayed one night because we were attending an event in the Charlottesville area. The cabins were very clean along with the bathrooms and showers. The lady checking us in was personable and kind.

Nice quiet place, decent bathrooms and showers but boy, the roads could use some work. We were parked in 46, 47, 48 area with a roadtrek type class B and we sunk in deep coming and going. scary.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
