Upon check/in Lisa was very friendly, courteous, and kind. That was just the beginning. BRYAN turned out to be a magician as an amazing electrician with regards to our transfer switch and inverter which had shorted out. He went BEYOND the call of duty in getting us back in operation. Love this KOA. Been camping here for a few years now and love seeing all the improvements. Gorgeous bathrooms. Lots of great sites for parking the camper.

Campsite was clean, bathhouse was clean. Nice layout. Would have liked to have been notified about the 6 hr power outage that occurred on 10/1.

The facility was wonderful. My big concern was that not 1 of the Covid requirements were being followed. No mask the doors were not being wiped, the same pen was being used by everyone. This was a great concern to me. Also one of the staff was riding a baby around on a golf cart with the baby standing and she was holding it, She was also nursing the baby while waiting on customers.

Friendly staff !! All gravel lots which means that you will need more than the usual amount of pads to level your camper. Some back in sites are small and not close to level. Some pull through sites are fairly easy in and out, some are trickier. Small campground, close to a lot of local attractions. good fall colors and hiking trail.

Our stay was fantastic! The only complaint I have is that the fire pit had no grate, but other than that we enjoyed everything! We will definitely return

It was okay electric was out for about 10 hours but the girl at the desk left a note on the door when she left to keep us informed which was much appreciated. Only real negative thing to say is no one was wearing a mask, was not thrilled about that at all

The nature trail was great and not too long (good for kids), bathrooms were sparkling clean the entire time we were there!

exceptionally nice clean bathrooms and showers. Park was overall clean, quiet and well maintained. Second time we've been there and would definitely go back.

Great location. Power failure the last night marred the enjoyment somewhat. No one came by to explain what was going on or give any info .

Sharp digital TV reception. Good WiFi reception. Especially appreciated the individual restrooms. A smaller campground and quiet.

We were kept up until 1:00 am on Saturday night by people partying and then kids up at 7:00 bouncing basketballs but in Sunday night when my children were laughing in our tent with NO ONE around us we were told to be quiet at 10:15. Everyone else was in a cabin or a camper doing whatever they wanted but we were singled out. It was absolutely ridiculous!

The people were very nice however the park is a little compact and tight for big rigs (40’+). Getting out on to main road is difficult seeing around corner.

Older park. Weak internet signal, Can’t get satellite service. Nice people, gravel sites are mostly level. Very close to Monticello. Roads to the park are 2 lane, hilly and curvy with no shoulders. We did ok getting there and out with our 42’ coach. Try to come in via SH20. But it is probably the best choice if you want to be close to Charlottesville.

We LOVE the renovated bathrooms! LOVE THEM! And thank you for keeping them so clean. We really appreciate your attention to detail. We also love the convenience store, moon bounce, pavilion, and sports areas. We are repeat campers at your KOA. Would it be possible to request a campsite in future reservations, particularly if we plan month(s) in advance?

Beautiful place! And the staff is very friendly. I would give it a five but the Wi-Fi is terrible. And the cell service is not very good either.

Stayed 3 nights on site 33 and really enjoyed the site with the trees and the weather. We camped here to be close to several wineries.

A beautiful, quiet setting, this campground is near historic landmarks, such as Jefferson’s Monticello and Monroe’s Highland, but maintains the qualities of being in the wilderness. Clean, warm restrooms and showers. Friendly, helpful staff.

We had a warm greeting from the woman who checked us in. Campgrounds were clean and everything we expected. I absolutely loved the shower house set up. It is in a perfect location for exploring Charlottesville. We hope to be back very soon.

Cabin was nice. Spacey enough for a large family. Was not very impressed with the young lady that checked us in. She was border line rude. Otherwise we had a really great time. Cabins were pricey compared to other KOA's but it was a nice cabin.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
