We had an enjoyable stay. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Our site was fantastic. We woke up every morning enjoying the sunrise over the woods next to our site. Can’t wait to go back next year.

We needed to add a night and they were very accommodating. The entire campground is clean and well marked and I look forward to a return trip. This was our first KOA campground experience and we were very impressed.

We had a great weekend in Charlottesville at the KOA. It was a small campground that was nestled in the woods. We were a 15 minute drive to both downtown Charlottesville and also local places to visit. It was quiet and let us know we were really away from it all!

A wonderful place to camp. Exceptionally clean and updated bathroom/showers. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a beautiful site overlooking the forest. Very relaxing and I would like to return. We had a group of 3, with a 4th in the waiting. There were empty sites and one of our group offered to move to a smaller site (which was adequate for their camper) to allow our 4th to take their site. The office staff said NO. This would have been no effort on the staff, but was shot down.

Clean, things for kids to do, and pull through. Nice pool. The only thing I would recommend, if possible, is when leaving from the campground and trying to turn left onto Rt 708 with a camper, can you place a mirror on the far side of the road to see cars coming fast around the sharp curve? The cars come fast around the curve that it could lead to an accident with a trailer being towed.

This was our first time at a KOA and the rest will have a hard time topping this one. Everyone was awesome and they even had a buddy site that put our awning together with another party we were camping with. Very quiet and very clean. We will be going back there again with more friends. Perfect location for wine hopping as well.

It was a very lovely, clean, and family friendly campground. On the small side but adequately equipped with all the necessary amenities. We stayed in a deluxe cabin which was basic, rustic and clean with the exception of the pillows. Gross brown sweat spots on them so bring your own!

My stay was amazing! It was very clean and so quiet...exactly what we needed to unwind and unplug. I had concerns about the lack of enforcement re: mask policy, but we kept ours on and just went about our business. Zero issues!

The facility is lovely and well-equipped, but we were surprised and highly concerned that the campground and staff are taking no apparent precautions in relation to Covid-19. The office/store had no signage about wearing masks and the staff inside the store were not wearing masks or seeming to take any precautions. We felt unsafe throughout our visit.

If you are looking for peace and quiet - this is the place to stay. Our spot was very good. The people were all super nice, its a clean and organized camp. The WiFi needs to be better, tho they do tell you that it is only for checking emails, it needs to be better.

Park needs some upkeep also only has one place to dump your trash. No easy travel to with a big rig. Other than that it was nice. Close to all 3 presidential properties.

This was our first ever trip in our new travel trailer. We were called ahead of time and told which exit to take to get to the campground, as one route is not very RV friendly. We appreciated the thoughtfulness. The campground was clean and everyone there was very nice. We will be back on our next trip to area.

It was wonderful however we thought the quiet time was a little ridiculous it was 4 ladies we were very respectful listening to music very low and were asked to cut it completely off besides that it was great!!

It was our first time staying, and we loved it. The staff were super helpful, and Brian (the owner) even helped fix an issue with our RV that would have made our trip quite challenging had it not been remedied. We will definitely be back!

A great place to stay. We had a beautiful site with our picnic area facing out towards the nature trail that surrounds the campground. A tight road at entrance and some spaces could be more clearly marked. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return. Extremely nice staff at checkin.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. I liked the fact that the campground had pull-through facilities, and loved that their was sewer/water hook up available. We just recently purchased a small camper, and the KOA was only the second campground that we have been to since our purchase. The only reason that I am not rating the campground a 10 is the cost of the rental.

First RV experience and it was perfect. The store was well-stocked with all essentials and extras, the pool was clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms and showers were VERY clean. The whole campground was clean.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
