We stayed for 1.5 days. We had to leave early when our plans changed. The Charlottesville KOA is always very clean and the staff is very courteous. We always enjoy our stay there.

Came to area for a wedding.We had a beautiful site # 52 and the bath houses were spotless, looked brand new.Staff were all very friendly and accomodating

The campground is peaceful and beautiful! Everyone we met there was friendly and helpful. We will definately come and stay again.

Small camp ground, not much as far as activity to do at campground. I wish there wasn’t so much red clay around camp site.

Absolutely a wonderful campground. Very impressive and clean. Just a Lovely place to spend time. My first time here and I already look forward to return soon. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

We just stopped for a night. The laundry room was very clean. For the price, we would think the sites would be more level, but we were okay.

My mom is a city girl and I’m a country girl, so the deluxe cabin is a happy compromise. It’s a lovely set up with a grill, fire ring, and patio plus all the comforts she needs for a good vacation. Great location to hit some wineries, Carter Mountain for all things apple, and a few fishing spots. We love coming here every year!

Campground was too far off the highway for us. There were a lot of trees so couldn't get much sun. Dog park was too small for dogs to run free. No garbage pick up, no escort to your campsite. Staff was not friendly like all KOA campgrounds are suppose to be. Not very welcoming.

A very pretty property and was more than I expected. My site was over 100 feet in length and the right amount of privacy and ease of parking. Everything worked the way it should. I would go again.

Campground is good for an overnight stay or something in the area you are wanting to do. Wouldn't choose to stay for just the campground/amenities. Playground is pretty outdated and the pool wasn't open but looks like it hasn't been used or maintained in several years. Overgrowth all on the fence. It didn't look inviting. We enjoyed the nature trail & fishing but bank is small a dock would be nice

Great location and fairly quiet campground. Was disappointed the playground and jump pad weren’t better maintained. Jump pad closes around 5, which the kids weren’t too happy. Wish they could have deflated it at dark to give the kids more time.

We had a great time with the cabin and fire pit. The facilities were clean and the staff both friendly and helpful. The only thing I can think of to improve would be the option to get some chairs when staying in a Kabin. Even for a modest extra fee, would be better. That way you can sit around the fire. We unfortunately forgot to bring our own chairs, but we made it work.

This is a quaint, quiet KOA in the woods. Many sites have a good bit of privacy. Only 56 or so sites available including; RV, Tent and Cabin. The staff were very friendly and the park was clean. It's nestled right in the middle of many vineyards and beautiful lakes. We will definitely go again!

I love the lay out of the sites. Especially where we were..#33. They are easy to pull into and are positioned to have some privacy. Phone and internet service was basicslly nil. Normally we wouldn't care but with hospitalizations in the family we would have desired a connection. We have Verizon. Perhaps others had signals.

Very clean bathrooms. We parked at site 48 and it was great for what we needed, a place to park and sleep. I would recommend for that use but not if I was planning to stay at the camp site the whole time.

The campground was very clean and the facilities looked new. It is located by a lot of breweries and wineries. I am already planning our spring trip.

There are some nice campsites at this KOA but ours (up the hill behind reception and the camp store) wasn’t one of them. It was too close to the other three sites up on the hill and when it rains you are in a muddy river. The shower rooms are excellent. The campground is pretty pricey for what you get.

This was an amazing get-away. We enjoyed the campground so much, and can't say enough good things about this location. The bathhouse was one of the nicest I've ever seen at a campground, and was kept beautifully clean. We were in site 48, and really enjoyed the semi-secluded location. It was a hot weekend, but we had nice shade almost all day. We will definitely be back!

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
