Nice small campground with helpful and friendly staff. No complaints. Have been staying here on an annual basis for almost 25 years, for a local family reunion. Make sure to check out the Clover Top Creamery just around the corner, for killer goat cheese products. Tours available by appointment. Also visit the White Oak Lavender Farm in Harrisonburg, about one hour away.

the site was quiet & private and the bathroom/showers were the best I've seen at a campground. the staff was very friendly. we look forward to going back.

Great spot 15 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and close to Jefferson’s Monticello. Be careful leaving as exit is on a blind curve. We took a deep breath and hit the gas, praying our combined 60’+ feet would make the turn. County need to install caution signs warning of slow moving vehicles entering and exiting.

Quiet and peaceful setting with a friendly staff. When we first set up our travel trailer, we were amazed at how level the lot was. Side to side bubbles were right in the middle as soon as we unhooked. All the amenities were very clean. We stayed for seven nights with no issues whatsoever.

Very nice campground, raising the tree canopy made the campground look and feel larger. Quiet time should be raised up to eleven from ten. Will definitely be back..have a safe summer.

We usually hang out Charlottesville for a weekend a year. This was a second visit to this particular KOA. The sign is now visible! You can see it. And very busy. Everyone was super nice. Our site did not have working cable and wifi was not accessible. Luckily, we had some DVDs for our downtime. Just affirms that I need to get a card on my laptop to make sure we have access to work.

Was only there for two nights, but was very pleased with the size of the camp site, the cleanliness of the campground, and the nice people working at the campground. Also, the location was beautiful!

Stayed 1 night. We had a long pull thru that had an electric problem. The owners replaced the breaker very quickly. We had room between sites. Nice wooded campground. We’d stop there again.

Starting off with the entrance, extremely dangerous. You cannot see anything coming when you leave. The office area, gross. It is like someone sits in there smoking all day. The campsite was overgrown and we were beside what appeared to be a permanent site, at least that is what it appeared to be by looking at the camper on it and there were hundreds of cigarette butts on our site. Never again!

The overall park needs some attention. The pool fencing is 80% covered in vegetation. The pool was terribly unkept and actually had water bugs living in the pool. We have never seen this at a KOA park and actually we were shocked at the lack of attention the pool is receiving.

Just stopped for a one night stay, but i think it will be a destination in the near future. Very clean an nice spacious pull through sites . Beautiful campground!

quiet campground. Spaces are decent size with utility hookups conveniently located. Showers and rest rooms exceptionally clean. Could use some outdoor lighting, and when exiting the campground it has a blind curve making it somewhat risky to pull onto the highway. There is a sign showing that the entrance is close to the curve, but I think it would be safer with a more substantial warning. .

I enjoyed the whole experience. The deluxe cabin was great for my daughter who is not into camping. My six year old granddaughter loved playground and pool. With all the near by attractions, it made for a fun trip for all .

Everyone is great that works there. There just isn’t really any shade and the pool looks green. The bathhouse is GREAT! I will go back!

Bathrooms were consistently immaculate and clean smelling. Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. They put our entire group together when we made our reservations. Campsite was great. Full hookups were in excellent working order and grass was cut. We could not ask for more. Cannot wait for our next visit. Thank You!

Lovely little park out in the woods. So many fireflies at night put on a show. They have a pool but it’s way off in the back 40. A bit odd. But the staff is super friendly. Monticello is very close. The towns nearby have lots of stores and eateries.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
