We arrived Friday ahead of schedule and we were checked in very quickly, no waiting at all!! The girl that checked us in was super nice and very helpful! We really enjoyed our visit and plan to do it again!

Well maintained, pleasant and quiet. Owners friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was that there was no recycle bins. We're big on that.

It was great the only thing I would say is to post pool hours and make it early so that people could start their day earlier and trim some of the bushes on the side of the pool

Loved the trees! We were able to be in the shade. Close to the city, but not too close. The WiFi was ok.

No problems. I trimmed the thorn bushes by the electric box they were nasty. You might want to address those as they are very sharp.

Hands down the best bathrooms and showers of any KOA I've stayed at, and the staff was super friendly But a couple reasons i didn't give it top marks: - Cabin #6 A/C was pretty loud. When the compressor kicks in the vibrations go through the wall, bed frame, mattress, pillow, and right into my brain, waking me up frequently - 'holiday' koa but no mini golf? Playground roped off.

The only issue we had was that the breaker tripped when using an electric skillet with the air conditioner running. We have experienced this at one other place we have stayed and it is just an annoyance that shouldn't be happening. Other than this, the park was clean, the store was very well stocked, and the bathrooms/showers were great due to having a bathroom/shower room with a door lock.

I loved the campground as a whole. The grounds were well kept and bathhouse was amazing! I wish they kept the bathroom by the pool open all night as that is the closest bathroom to where we camped. Also the choline was too high in the pool. Otherwise, the lady at the front was so sweet! She worked all weekend and was always helpful!

This was a beautiful setting and sites are large enough to accommodate our 42’ fifth wheel.

Very clean camp site. Sites are good sized. When I pulled into the campsite my tire pressure monitoring system went off. I had a bad valve on my inner rear tire. The next morning the owner of the campsite pulled up and offered to help me change the tire. Great service.

We were very surprised that they were able to get my sister and I on sites right next to each other. The staff was super friendly and helpful and I saw them riding around quite often checking the sites and cleaning. Super quiet, quaint campground. We will be back for sure!

Awesome experience. Kids loved the playground and pool. Bathrooms were best I’ve ever seen. Just get rid of the flies.

Excellent campground. Grounds are well kept. Walking trail around the grounds was nicely maintained. Friendly staff, they do walks around to check on patrons. Well stocked store. Play ground areas a clean and in good condition.

Stayed two nights and were very comfortable. Camp is clean and the staff is very friendly. WiFi could use some work.

Disappointed in the distance and roads to get there. Very dangerous trying to pull in and out on the curves. Minimal Verizon service. None of this is KOA fault but would keep me from choosing this one again.

Enjoyed the stay in Charlottesville! Loved the wooded sites and cleaniness if everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and quiet. Didn’t use pool or boathouse, can’t comment there. Game room/ laundry clean and functional. Nice camp store, courteous polite staff.

Overall very pleased. Easy check in, great very clean bathroom facilities, nice pool that seems well managed. Only negative is there was a large “widow maker” tree limb literally right over our tent site location (the middle of the 3 tent site locations) that really needs to be cut down. Moved my tent closer to the road to avoid any accidents from falling limbs.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
