Beautiful setting with tall mature trees. The pool was pretty big and 8 ft at the deep end which was nice! Our pull through site was massive and gave space for the kids to play.

A great stay as always! The owners are great and very accommodating. Restrooms very clean and nice. Grounds nicely kept; dog park in good order.

Campground definitely needs some TLC. While the restroom facilities were always clean the rest of the campground is in dire need of work that can not be blamed on the pandemic. Also your entrance is extremely dangerous. My wife and i almost got into a serious accident with not one but THREE DOT dump trucks that came flying around the corner. Your Staff seemed completely uncaring when told.

Very nice campground!! Bathrooms are the nicest I have ever seen! Friendly staff and owner! Wifi wasn't great and the flys were bad. Other than that I would highly recommend this KOA!

The campground is small and not kept very well. Pool had razor wire on fencing. Was charged for a full propane fill when it was only half filled. Rude and unhelpful staff. Once you check in you won’t see any staff unless you go to camp store. Obviously a family run business and that would explain why they won’t fire the girl at the front desk. Numerous complaints against her in other reviews.

The bathrooms and check in area were the nicest parts of the campground, but the grounds needed better upkeep/not very attractive. Was an ok place to stay for a couple of days, but I wouldn’t recommend it or visit again.

Great small campground. Large RV sites, easy to maneuver and quiet. Everyone we talked to go there often. In the heart of wine and beer country, make sure you go later in the week, most places closed Monday - Wednesday. If you're a fan on campfires, make sure you get a bag of their wood! It fits perfectly in a small Solo Stove!!!

The staff and owner of KOA Charlottesville were wonderful. They answered all of my questions and provided me with all of the necessary information for after hours check-in. The campground is very clean as well as the restrooms and showers. It was a wonderful stay.

This was our first time at a KOA campground and pulling our travel trailer. We loved this place because of the peacefulness. This is exactly what we wanted to take our dogs to for the first time and not have so many distractions for them. The only negative was people letting their dogs off leash and allowing them to poop where they wanted and not clean up after them.

First time ever staying at KOA and first time with our new to us camper. It was a very fun experience. The staff were so friendly and the campground was very clean. The bathrooms and shower rooms were so nice. We enjoyed the pool and the walking trail. Excellent location to Charlottesville.

It was the first and last time will will stay with any KOA campsites. This KOA as very expensive. The site one on top of the other. We were put next to campers in tents!! Really!! The pool was disgusting and not properly taken care of. It needs alot of TLC before my family ever goes back!!

This is one of our favorite campgrounds when we just want to relax. It’s quiet, but still has things for kids to do. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is lots to do and see in the beautiful Charlottesville area. This was our 4th time staying there, and we will definitely return. :)

Decent facilities, clean. Night time has a sense of lockdown. Come 10pm if you're still out, you can bet you are being watched. If management sees a flashlight at your camp site, they'll come looking around for sure.

Small, basic campground... perfect place to sleep and relax while spending most of our time sightseeing. Shady sites, clean, quiet. Bathhouse appears to have been recently redone. Super clean, private, and locking individual rooms with shower, sink, and toilet. Store is adequate although hours are limited (closes at 6:00 PM). Laundromat is sufficient. I would suggest better pool upkeep.

My family and I stayed at the campground for four nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were modern and always clean. Sites were a nice size.

Stayed in camping cabin which was clean and in a wooded setting. Restrooms/shower facilities were clean and looked new.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
