This family is so wonderful. My husband died suddenly while I was there. They offered to help in so many ways, and fortunately I was able to do most everything on my own. But Brian helped me get hitched up the day I left. These people are like my own family. They were so kind and understanding. They went the extra mile to help me. I will be back when I come to visit my daughter again!

Site was clean and amazing how quiet everyone was. You really didn’t notice the other sites around you. Bathhouse and restrooms were very clean.

Just over weekend. Front desk was very friendly, grounds and restrooms were clean. Will return in the spring.

Restrooms very nice and clean. Bouncy playground was a big hit with our granddaughters. Our premium patio site was very nice. Office/store people were friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed it. Ashley, Lisa and Bryan were the ones we saw most of the time. All very friendly and welcoming. We were there for 5 weeks due to my hubby being in UVA Hospital for 3 weeks and then in the local area for an additional 2 weeks. It was a perfect spot for his recovery. Thank you SO much!

We reserved one of the 3 patio sites and it was fantastic! We really enjoyed the site, the patio and the fire pit. Most other sites at this KOA are pretty close together so it was nice to have a large site with some privacy. We will reserve here again but only if patio sites are available.

Very rustic and NOT big rig friendly. I had branches hitting my coach. Not well marked. I don’t know how it’s a “holiday” class KOA. Somewhat out of the way. Friendly staff and campers. Maybe better suited for trailers than a diesel pusher.

Our Back-in RV site was not very private as we were face to face with a pull through site. Not to mention that at least a dozen people took a shortcut from the nature trail right through our site. Not alongside but right through walking between our trailer and tow vehicle. I know the campground is not responsible for campers rude behavior but the fact that this happened multiple times is a problem

With the COVID19 cases increasing the inside staff did not wear a mask. Other a mask required posting and only one person( couple ) at a time inside. Did not like having the area around the hook ups bare ground. Due to rain hoses and electrical cord in the mud. The sites need more gravel around the hook up area. Bar wire on 8 ft pool fencing? Never experience a prison pool. Place needs updating

The campground was nice, clean, and quiet. The guest policy ($5/guest just to visit during the day) is excessive.

Beautiful small camp tucked into the beautiful countryside just outside of Charlottesville proper. Very quiet and peaceful. Great dog walk area, too!

Very nice clean facility with large, flat spots!

Nice KOA and nice location. The roads are little treacherous but Charlottesville is in the Blue Ridge Mountains so guess that should have been expected. Bathrooms/showers were clean and staff friendly. Thank you Charlottesville KOA. Would come back and recommend to others. A pleasant experience.

Bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever used at a KOA. Small quiet campground. 30 mins from Carter Mountain for apple picking. Nice trail on property.

Nice quiet campground. Power went out first night. Would have expected staff to let people know what was going on. No issues otherwise. Nice trip

Stayed fir 10 nights. Very clean bathrooms, very quiet area, nice hiking path, and about 20 minutes from Charlottesville.

Upon check/in Lisa was very friendly, courteous, and kind. That was just the beginning. BRYAN turned out to be a magician as an amazing electrician with regards to our transfer switch and inverter which had shorted out. He went BEYOND the call of duty in getting us back in operation. I can’t thank him enough for the time he spent working on it. I’ll never forget his experience and determinatio

Love this KOA. Been camping here for a few years now and love seeing all the improvements. Gorgeous bathrooms. Lots of great sites for parking the camper.

Campsite was clean, bathhouse was clean. Nice layout. Would have liked to have been notified about the 6 hr power outage that occurred on 10/1.

The facility was wonderful. My big concern was that not 1 of the Covid requirements were being followed. No mask the doors were not being wiped, the same pen was being used by everyone. This was a great concern to me. Also one of the staff was riding a baby around on a golf cart with the baby standing and she was holding it, She was also nursing the baby while waiting on customers.

Friendly staff !! All gravel lots which means that you will need more than the usual amount of pads to level your camper. Some back in sites are small and not close to level. Some pull through sites are fairly easy in and out, some are trickier. Small campground, close to a lot of local attractions. good fall colors and hiking trail.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
