If you are looking for peace and quiet - this is the place to stay. Our spot was very good. The people were all super nice, its a clean and organized camp. The WiFi needs to be better, tho they do tell you that it is only for checking emails, it needs to be better.

Park needs some upkeep also only has one place to dump your trash. No easy travel to with a big rig. Other than that it was nice. Close to all 3 presidential properties.

This was our first ever trip in our new travel trailer. We were called ahead of time and told which exit to take to get to the campground, as one route is not very RV friendly. We appreciated the thoughtfulness. The campground was clean and everyone there was very nice. We will be back on our next trip to area.

It was our first time staying, and we loved it. The staff were super helpful, and Brian (the owner) even helped fix an issue with our RV that would have made our trip quite challenging had it not been remedied. We will definitely be back!

A great place to stay. We had a beautiful site with our picnic area facing out towards the nature trail that surrounds the campground. A tight road at entrance and some spaces could be more clearly marked. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return. Extremely nice staff at checkin.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. I liked the fact that the campground had pull-through facilities, and loved that their was sewer/water hook up available. We just recently purchased a small camper, and the KOA was only the second campground that we have been to since our purchase. The only reason that I am not rating the campground a 10 is the cost of the rental.

First RV experience and it was perfect. The store was well-stocked with all essentials and extras, the pool was clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms and showers were VERY clean. The whole campground was clean.

Was a great time - good weather, KOA had nice amenities. Loved the separate bathrooms. First time using a trailer and it was a great experience. The pool was an added bonus after a hot hiking day. Good wineries close by and the Carter Mountain Orchard views were stunning. Close to Monticello- another local gem.

We stayed at Charlottesville KOA for one week and had a great time. We are from nearby and did not do a lot of sightseeing but had a very relaxing, enjoyable time. The campground is very spacious and there was lots to do especially for kids.

It’s nice,clean,and quiet. The WiFi could use some help, like a repeater near the far end of the park. Otherwise it’s a good location to be near a lot of places historical as well as new.

Very nice, staff was fantastic. Saw one shower and I used it. Very clean. Don’t know if their was more, though I didn’t have to wait either day I was there.

The campground was very clean, well maintained and we enjoyed the area despite all the rain. It is a great spot to check out the local wineries. The only concern we had was with the narrowness of our site. We would stay again and hopefully get a little roomier site.

Bathhouse is limited to 4 separate showers and 6 bathrooms I believe. Bathhouse is located at the front of the park, so a good distance from the camper section. Would suggest adding another bathhouse for those that choose not to use their camper shower and for those tent campers further away from the camp office. The WiFi is weak and cell service isn’t the best. Upgrading their WiFi would be gre

Sites are way too close together. It didn't seem like much had been upgraded in recent years. Also, we didn't see much of a presence of owners or workers around like you usually do at KOA's.

Pool was dirty and plants weeds growing through the surrounding fence into the pool area. Pond area very overgrown making it difficult to take children fishing. Although another pull-thru campsite next to us is was used as a road to get to sites.

Very happy with our stay. The woods are beautiful and the walking trail doable with kids. The pool was large and well kept. Bathrooms were impeccable! Thanks for extra from staff.

Bathrooms were clean. Lots of trees so one felt in the woods rather than in a parking lot. Site pads for back ins were mostly not level but pull thrus seemed to be mostly level. Very little road noise So it was nice & quiet. WiFi was marginal as usual. We have ATT and could get 2bars. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at KOA Charlottesville while visiting our daughter. The camp was very neat and tidy and had everything we needed. It is very dog-friendly with a pet playground and a nice 1/2 mile nature trail that we walked every morning and evening. I love to see a well-run business and this is!

Person at office/desk was not wearing a mask, could have been a bit more informative. First time camping with our RV. Nice campsite, very nice bathrooms and shower set up.

Very nice place to camp. The bathroom and shower facilities were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a lot to do in the area but if you are looking for a relaxing quiet vacation spot this was it. The only slight negative was the pool needs some attention. Enjoyed our stay.

When we checked in the person at the desk said we were getting her favorite site. I can see why. We never got neighbors on one side and while sitting under our awning, we weren't looking at someone else's camper. In general, the campground was quiet and clean.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
