Nice site management. They are trying to keep sites as roomy as possible. Nice surroundings. Odd pool location, looked kind of unkept.

Stayed 3 nights. Had a nice pull thru site which was spacious and easy to get in and out. I would consider this a small campground with few amenities. But on the other hand it was very quiet, spacious sites, and a very friendly staff. We came because it was close to some family that we visited with. We would probably stay again.

We used this KOA campground as a way point on a trip further south.We did not explore all that was there to offer. However, we liked the area and will likely return to explore that part of Virginia. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff at KOA Charlottesville were very nice and helpful. The bathhouse and restrooms were very clean. The campground was very clean and quiet. We love being in the shade/woods. Love the K9 park. We plan on going back.

WE ONLY STAYED THE ONE NITE. DID NOT CARE FOR THE GRAVEL SITE I WAS PUT ON. THE OFFICE/CHECK IN STAFF WAS VERY NICE. I DON'T REALLY THINK THE CAMPGROUND IS BIG RIG FRIENDLY.

We loved this KOA! Even though we had tons of rain, the irrigation was great so there was no standing water. Nature trail was fantastic also. Camp staff had great customer service, and the store was well stocked. Will definitely recommend to friends and come back again for a longer stay. Thank you Charlottesville KOA!

Perfect stay! Quiet campground with SUPER AMAZINGLY clean bathrooms and nice staff! We will be returning before the season is over! The only thing is I would've liked to look at a campground map before I made a reservation but there isn't one to see and you can't look before you check in. Thankful for privacy and safety though. Also, the pool was great!!

I had several challenges in arriving at my scheduled time for the weekend. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The campsites were large and well kept. I have visited here multiple times and look forward to our next trip.

The stay was extremely good. Great bath and bathroom facilities. The best we have seen. Staff was great and the site extremely well kept. The only negative was the lake which had a lot stuff in it. Not clean and had a little bad smell to it. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Our site was very muddy. There were also many gunshots heard on or near the property - which drove our dogs crazy. I did call the office to complain.

Nice small campground with helpful and friendly staff. No complaints. Have been staying here on an annual basis for almost 25 years, for a local family reunion. Make sure to check out the Clover Top Creamery just around the corner, for killer goat cheese products. Tours available by appointment. Also visit the White Oak Lavender Farm in Harrisonburg, about one hour away.

the site was quiet & private and the bathroom/showers were the best I've seen at a campground. the staff was very friendly. we look forward to going back.

Great spot 15 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and close to Jefferson’s Monticello. Be careful leaving as exit is on a blind curve. We took a deep breath and hit the gas, praying our combined 60’+ feet would make the turn. County need to install caution signs warning of slow moving vehicles entering and exiting.

Quiet and peaceful setting with a friendly staff. When we first set up our travel trailer, we were amazed at how level the lot was. Side to side bubbles were right in the middle as soon as we unhooked. All the amenities were very clean. We stayed for seven nights with no issues whatsoever.

Very nice campground, raising the tree canopy made the campground look and feel larger. Quiet time should be raised up to eleven from ten. Will definitely be back..have a safe summer.

We usually hang out Charlottesville for a weekend a year. This was a second visit to this particular KOA. The sign is now visible! You can see it. And very busy. Everyone was super nice. Our site did not have working cable and wifi was not accessible. Luckily, we had some DVDs for our downtime. Just affirms that I need to get a card on my laptop to make sure we have access to work.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
