Campsite was beautiful with concrete patio and tables and chairs with fire pit . We stayed a week but there was nothing going on at campground activity wise . The pool was disappointing only three feet deep ,more of a waiting pool .the store was very limited on stock didn't have milk . In my opinion this campground is geared more toward s seasonal campers then weekenders . Just not what we thought

The campground is nice and in a good location. the only drawbacks were that there was not any shade in section we were in and that several of the days the septic pump near us failed and the smell over took our sites.

Rented a cabin. Everything was provided including linens. Very clean. Great activities. Will stay again.

Trying to drive to this KOA has been made difficult due to a road closure and poor signage by the county. But there is no help or mention of this on the campground’s website or in their confirmation email. And their staff gave us incorrect driving instructions resulting in 40 minutes of wasted driving. The closure makes it take longer to reach the nearby city of Mayville.

$20 cash deposit required for a gate key which was fine, but we left before the office opened so we are out $20. Not a great system.

We rented one of their units. The sleeping accommodations were good. The house needs work. There was a lot of dog hair in all the rooms from a previous renter, even in the refrigerator. The roof leaked after heavy rainfalls, a window frame fell apart when closing, a recliner was in a bad state of affairs which could be dangerous. lights worked sporadically, the kitchen needs more supplies.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds! It is large and spacious, and very clean. Some spots have paved patios and others have slight views of the lake. Spending time here is extremely relaxing and I think we could all use that right now!

This campground is very nice. Check in was easy & the staff was very helpful. We got escorted to our site, which was appreciated. The bathrooms were clean & it’s has individual rooms that include full facilities. While the campground isn’t on the lake, you can see it. It was the perfect overnight on our way home.

Hated all the extra fees such as gate card fee, and visitor fee. Hated the short pool hours. Hated having to buy fire wood from campground. Poor customer service. We did enjoy the pool in the short amount we were allowed to use it. We enjoyed being allowed to bring our dog. Our grandson liked play ground and jump mat.

The campsites are large and well-groomed. The amenities are plentiful. Although the showers were clean, the shower heads in the restrooms near us were low pressure and aimed at the wall. Otherwise, a wonderful campground!

Clean, quiet and beautiful. Sites down in the lower level were specious with very few trees. Kid friendly amenities, such as a shallow pool. Short drive to the lake an brewery/distillery. Midway Amusement Park just down the street. Camp store was limited as they ran out of TP, shirts and ice. Issue with the campgrounds sewer pumps caused for unpleasant odors while sitting around the fire.

We enjoyed our total time as our site was a great location, very wide open space. Grounds were clean, easy way to walk our dog. Judy at the front desk does a great job, very friendly and helped get info to me with a vehicle problem. Great location to see sites around the lake.

While there is alot of rain we believe more drainage, gravel should be used. Site x4 was quite muddy. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Stayed in "The Birdhouse". Campground clean & safe. Strong WIFI. We didn't use anything but kitchen had all the necessities including a coffee pot & toaster. Sheets, towels and hairdryer provided. Cons:furniture & carpet was filthy. Mattress was awful. No water pressure. Expected to clean before we left. Good thing I packed disinfecting wipes. No cleaning products besides dish soap were provided.

Truly outstanding facilities with the most helpful and knowledgeable and skilled staff we've ever encountered in any KOA. The setting is terrific but we will return regardless of the location. What a pleasure.

Stayed in Eagles nest. Great time and cabin was well worth every minute. Our 4th time staying at KOA chautauqua lake. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay!! We will definitely be back. The only things that needs to be reviewed is the unsupervised kids at the pool. The flyer states that someone would be monitoring the pool but we did not see anyone there. We witnessed an older couple sitting in the pool and the same family of boys were jumping over their heads into the pool. A boy also ended up being jumped on. Kid pool??

This was just an overnight, but wow, this KOA is what I expect all KOA’s to be like. Welcoming staff at check-in, an escort to our site, and a beautiful site at that! We had an unlevel pull-through site, it took two layers of blocks to get it close. Major roads were blacktop and in good condition. All connections worked well and were placed logically on the site. We had a wonderful time staying at your facility. Very clean and well kept. Was not extremely happy about the facility losing water as we paid extra to get the cabin we rented for the accommodations it had available. Feel as though the KOA could have done something in return.

I want to call out whomever booked my stay. She gave us such an outstanding site in response to my request that it was my birthday weekend and I wanted a view of lake. It took a bit of time on her part considering best spots taken. Yet she thoughtfully reviewed options and got us onto site u8. And overall, staff were considerate and friendly!! We will Highly recommend and likely stay again. Ty!!

Wifi actually worked. Sites were nice size and didn’t feel like i was sitting in neighbors yard. We like to play croquet but not on a 10% grade with humps and dips. The gaga pit needs some tlc with maybe some sand instead wet packed dirt. Would be nice to have a pool more centrally located. While I’m paying 7$ for your firewood a seasonal site has untreated slabs??? How does that work??

We are one of the original campers who have been there since the campground opened 20 years ago. This was the best season we have ever spent there due to New Management with new innovative ideas. Going forward we hope to continue for another 20 years. The staff is to be commended for its friendliness and helpfulness. Everyone who visited us during this season commented on all the wonderful changes that have been made around the campground, including the welcoming attitude of the office staff. We are proud to say that we are seasonal campers at Chautauqua Lake Koa!
