Read the reviews. You will find a common theme in the negative ones. This KOA’s problem is the ownership, specifically the woman who runs the office. Every interaction with her, starting at check in, was cynical, condescending, and just down right rude. The facilities are clean, the pool is only 3 feet deep, splash pad wasn’t open all week, no pond for fishing. More of a retirement community

It was very clean and loved the flowers planted everywhere. It was a little expensive but truly worth the money. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Deluxe campsite was beautiful. Camp manager was very helpful with working with our TV set. Quiet and dogs were well behaved. Very clean. Wish this campground was closer to where we live.

Tent area us cold damp and bug infested. There should be some kind of bug control. Couldn’t sit at campfire because of mosquitos.

we had the deluxe concrete pad and patio sites 3 sites in a row with our family this was a beautiful campground and we had the best sites there we would def stay here again only down fall was the showers were the water saving showers so i had to keep turning the shower back on to rinse my hair..plenty of things to keep the kids entertained right at the campground it was clean and well kept ..

The only minus was the otherwise small size and low inventory in the store. I don’t believe we’ve ever seen a smaller campground store, while low inventory is surely due to the current COVID impact so that was understandable. Otherwise it’s a terrific campground!

Beautiful park. Flowers were stunning. Staff super friendly always asking if we needed anything let them know. Delivery of wood directly to site. Pick up trash often seldom sits out long. Pool was heated. Many enjoyed panning for Jems. Put put golf course 9 hole fun one hole impossible lol. Super clean camp good security. Don’t miss cheese house just down the road from camp. Peaceful quiet

Stay was great, the pool was nice. It was only 3 feet deep, so I thought it would be more for adults to enjoy also. Not many activities for the kids to do, besides the pool and playground, no events or activities planned during our 9 day stay, so neither weekend had events. Would've liked to had more for the kids to do and families to do together. Live music or at least some kind of event.

Good site. Hate policy of charging $5 for a friend to visit to see my new trailer. They did not use facilities at all. Bridge out on main road to camp making for detours. No views of lake from my site. Pricy firewood at $7.50. Clean and all facilities in good working condition. Lots of permanent residents making for a lot of signs saying "drive slow like your kids live here".

This is one of out Favorite KOA campgrounds, always clean, staff is great the sites are huge compared to other KOA campgrounds we have stayed at. any other campground would have squeezed another site in-between ours. PLEASE DON'T EVER CHANGE THAT!!!!!!!!!! the Kids also loved being across from the playground and carpet ball.

A little disappointed in the bathrooms. They were always very wet...they need shower curtains or walls around the showers ....always wet led to a damp smell

Everything was perfect from the time we checked in with Judy to the second that we left. We even extended our stay by 1 day. Im not sure of his name but the gentleman who escorted us to our site and delivered our wood was an angel as well. Such welcoming people. Very warm and friendly. We loved it and will make this our campground of choice and recommend it to anyone who will listen. TY

This place is over priced, had very small sites that were jammed together. There was just barely room for our camper and no room for the truck. The staff was very unhelpful. We were very disappointed with this campground. We will not ever stay there again. KOA should be very disappointed in them representing them.

We just stayed one night. The grounds were clean, baths were clean, and the camp sites were level (not extreme blocking needed). It had a nice looking swimming pool and jump toy.

Campsite was beautiful with concrete patio and tables and chairs with fire pit . We stayed a week but there was nothing going on at campground activity wise . The pool was disappointing only three feet deep ,more of a waiting pool .the store was very limited on stock didn't have milk . In my opinion this campground is geared more toward s seasonal campers then weekenders . Just not what we thought

The campground is nice and in a good location. the only drawbacks were that there was not any shade in section we were in and that several of the days the septic pump near us failed and the smell over took our sites.

Trying to drive to this KOA has been made difficult due to a road closure and poor signage by the county. But there is no help or mention of this on the campground’s website or in their confirmation email. And their staff gave us incorrect driving instructions resulting in 40 minutes of wasted driving. The closure makes it take longer to reach the nearby city of Mayville.

$20 cash deposit required for a gate key which was fine, but we left before the office opened so we are out $20. Not a great system.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds! It is large and spacious, and very clean. Some spots have paved patios and others have slight views of the lake. Spending time here is extremely relaxing and I think we could all use that right now!

This campground is very nice. Check in was easy & the staff was very helpful. We got escorted to our site, which was appreciated. The bathrooms were clean & it’s has individual rooms that include full facilities. While the campground isn’t on the lake, you can see it. It was the perfect overnight on our way home.

Hated all the extra fees such as gate card fee, and visitor fee. Hated the short pool hours. Hated having to buy fire wood from campground. Poor customer service. We did enjoy the pool in the short amount we were allowed to use it. We enjoyed being allowed to bring our dog. Our grandson liked play ground and jump mat.

We are one of the original campers who have been there since the campground opened 20 years ago. This was the best season we have ever spent there due to New Management with new innovative ideas. Going forward we hope to continue for another 20 years. The staff is to be commended for its friendliness and helpfulness. Everyone who visited us during this season commented on all the wonderful changes that have been made around the campground, including the welcoming attitude of the office staff. We are proud to say that we are seasonal campers at Chautauqua Lake Koa!
