The KOA was well maintained, and there were activities to keep us busy. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. As far as the lake itself goes, we didn't venture too far out only for fear of the trees poking out at the shore. We were looking forward to using out paddleboards, so we'll have to come back another time.

I don't know how they did it but Saturday and Sunday's weather was perfect. Enjoyed the site again.

We enjoy the activities they add to keep the children entertained. That IS VERY IMPORTANT! We are looking forward to the pool opening. See you soon.

The park is nice but the site has a drainage problem. There was a lot of rain and water built up all around the campsite.

Family of 14. Terrific Memorial Day weekend at this KOA. RV and three tents next to the open space across from the playground, restrooms with clean, spacious hot showers and the Main office (where all the kids activities took place) was just perfect for our group. Beauftiful weather, train rides, crafts, nature scavenger hunts were a delight for the kiddos. Owners and the staff were outstanding.

Overnight stay. Had rained so everything was soggy. Friendly staff. Took a walk down the path to the lake-nice views. Walked the trail. They have animals here- donkey, chickens and ducks. And cows are in another area. I enjoyed seeing the animals. Easy on/off the highway. Quiet.

Lovely campground, children's activities, short walk to the lake. I'd give it 5 stars if they had a functioning swimming pool, theirs looks like it's been closed for years. The staff were great!

Disappointing. Staff was very accommodating in getting us a spot for the night but it was a mud hole. Had to jump from the stairs into wetlands to escape the mud. Tires were nasty getting out in the morning. Understood it had rained but why not put us in one of the many empty spaces that were not muddy.

People are very nice. It had been raining. Bring your mosquito spray. One night there i was eat up. Standing water and mud puddles everywhere!!!! The mini donkey was cute.

Staff was very courteous. After any days of rain, the campground was super WET! I ruined a pair of $139 shoes trying to get hooked up. While no one there could help the rain, the spaces had practically no stone on them. Most everyone coming in was complaining, but there was nothing they could do at that point. This is a popular KOA and a little Stone Replinishment would help.

Please add gravel to the sites. We were very concerned as our back tires had no gravel under them and sunk deep into the muddy ground. Other than that we were pleased.

We had a great site but I had to clean the furniture to be able to sit and sweep the patio since it was covered in burnt wood and ash from previous guests.

Quiet, they have a dog run, nice walking trails, animal farm w/mini donkey and unique geese/ducks. Convenient amenities. We enjoyed our brief stay.

We were pleased with our site and we also took a walk-around to view other sites for future reservations. Sites are well-maintained and level. Back-ins in the center row have a lot of shade trees. Tent area has a lot of shade as well. Bathrooms were in good shape and clean. This KOA is well-staffed and they are all really nice folks. There's a nice walking path to the lake.

This was such a fun place to stay. We had a few questions and even though it was a holiday the camp hosts called us back. We stayed in a tent site. Plenty of grass for the dog to explore. The showers were hot which is always appreciated and bathrooms open 24/7. The laundry was also open and not busy, unfortunately there wasn't a change machine inside so we weren't able to do laundry. There is a catch and release pond, K9 dog area, and even a walk to the beach/lake! Our favorite part was visiting all the animals they have on site: cows, miniature horses, donkeys, ducks, chickens, etc!

This is by far the best KOA I have stayed at. Easy in and out with a big rig. Beautiful trees and a walk to the lake with a big Beach(this time of year). 31Oct. It looks like the lake goes up and might lose some of the beach in summer. I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff and very clean.
