The staff was extremely friendly, however the facility could use some improvements. Swimming pool was drained and not in use, the playground needs an overhaul, and there is lake access but looks more like a swamp. If you are just passing through, it’s very clean and there are spots set up for tent camping. Would consider staying here again for an overnight stay

We had a site with a patio and it was awesome! great views, lovely trail to the water, convenient kayak delivery and pick up, wood delivered to your site, nice grassy areas for the dogs. This was our first KOA to stay at and we loved it. Big shade trees all over, nice owner and workers.

The grounds were well kept, the staff was super helpful and pleasant. The camp is a bit close to I 40 so you heard the traffic but after a walk to see the lake, and a trip along the nature trail and a visit to the petting zoo, we slept past the traffic noise.

Reality is 4.5 Stars just need to leave some room for self improvement_ overall beautiful place ,plenty of trees ,quiet, secluded ,and wonderful people taking care of people thank you

What a delightful place to stay. Very calming, staff great, clean restrooms and plenty of trees for shade. The highlight was watching the kids and their parents enjoy the "train" ride around the campgrounds and to the small lake to see the friendly bull waiting up at the gate for it's interaction. Very gentle animal. Place had a lot of amenities including a great store and club room.

We were very happy with our campsite! Hosts were readily available and helpful. This Koa did not have a dog park, but there was plenty of room to walk around. We took a stroll down to the lakefront and over to the farm zoo and said hello to the animals. It was fun to see the train drive by with the kiddos waving. I would stay here again.

It was a good stay, but there were some partiers at night and they were very inconsiderate. There was no after hours number to call, so there was nothing we could do till they stopped around 2am. Also some were riding their motorcycle late at night after 10pm. Next time we will make sure we have a contact person. But great waking trails, restrooms were super clean and the lake was so close!

This was our first time camping in our travel trailer. All the staff was very helpful and informative. Brandon spent a lot of time helping us set up and answered our questions. Another person helped us prepare to leave. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are clean. We enjoyed our time there and will be back. We highly recommend this KOA.

Everything you would expect from LOA. Great location for boating, fishing. Nice barnyard animal area for kids. Good hiking. Unfortunately, heat was oppressive, limiting our activities while we were there.

Great campground! The super friendly mini donkey was a hit with our kids. We enjoyed the walking trail through the woods. The staff was friendly and even took all the kids in the campground on a train ride one evening.

Loved the koa except. They mowed fri and sat. The mower was very loud and hours of it. Think there would be a better time to mow other than the weekend.

Great possibilities in your camp! We would like to see gravel on the sites and roads. It had rained so much, we were thankful to have rain boots the two nights we stayed. The animal area was fun!

It was Ok, It rained a lot and we didn't get to really use the lake, and the pool was closed, so no swimming. I understand the covid thing, but might as well have the pool open. The spaces are nice, with good water, power, and dumps at each site with a table, fire ring, and it was really quiet. it was nice having the store with pints of ice cream and other foods available.

Big rain storm when I arrived. Rather then putting up my tent got an upgrade to a cabin. Showers and restrooms were clean. Tree lined drive just off the freeway. Great place

My dissatisfaction stemmed mainly from the location. The interstate noise is terrible. I know this is no person's fault. The campground needs attention. I saw many, what appeared to be, KOA workers riding around but no one maintaining anything. Personally I would have them filling the gravel road low spots and holes and repairing things instead of riding around. The bathrooms were very clean.

This was such a fun place to stay. We had a few questions and even though it was a holiday the camp hosts called us back. We stayed in a tent site. Plenty of grass for the dog to explore. The showers were hot which is always appreciated and bathrooms open 24/7. The laundry was also open and not busy, unfortunately there wasn't a change machine inside so we weren't able to do laundry. There is a catch and release pond, K9 dog area, and even a walk to the beach/lake! Our favorite part was visiting all the animals they have on site: cows, miniature horses, donkeys, ducks, chickens, etc!

This is by far the best KOA I have stayed at. Easy in and out with a big rig. Beautiful trees and a walk to the lake with a big Beach(this time of year). 31Oct. It looks like the lake goes up and might lose some of the beach in summer. I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff and very clean.
