Perfect overnight location after a long day. Friendly, helpful staff. Sites are well maintained, easy in and out, and long enough for our Class A towing. We'll be back and stay longer to explore.

Staff is awesome, facilities are clean and offer a lot of amenities. Noise from interstate is annoying.

Really liked the campgrounds. The staff were all very friendly. Besides full hookups, they have clean bathrooms, short trail walk to lake, a donkey, geese, a park for the kiddos, and a little c store to get some extras you may need. They have pull through sites too. Not level but that's what leveling blocks are for. Highway noise was no bother and easy access to I40. Definitely will stay again!

Weekend stay to attend a family gathering. Stayed at camping cabins as I feel they are cleaner than the hotel options in Checotah.

Very clean facilities and helpful staff. TV reception and wifi were excellent. The KOA Patio site was nice, with a level gravel pad. We loved having a gas grill to use! The only complaint we had was the road noise from nearby I-40, but I used a fan to block that the 2nd night.

The staff was friendly. Restrooms were clean. We stayed 2 nights with our kids and we enjoyed the kayaks and playground and feeding the donkey. We would return.

Friendly staff. Spacious, level gravel sites with full hookups. Mini zoo for the kids. Nature walking path to the lake. We've stayed here numerous times and wii visit again when in the area.

We stayed one night in-transit, didn't really get to see much of the KOA facilities. The camp management were very accommodating of our last-minute reservation and arrival.

Very friendly staff. Our spot was very level. Had a nice little fire. Only stayed overnight but would stay there again.

Nice & quiet except for when the neighbor decided to have a camp fire while it’s 92 degrees outside and his fire pit was real close to our 5th wheel and smoke was blowing & smoking up our bathroom and bedroom! The pits are to close to the next campsite

We stopped for 1 night, got in right at dusk. Night box had our reservation/ map waiting for us. Pulled in without problems. Bathrooms were clean. We left by 8:30 am. Close to I 40 for on and off.

This was a one night stay at the tail end of a 5 week trip. Campground was very nice and had easy access from highway.

Like most of the KOA's we have stayed at, the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. However the property is in need of maintenance. This time the sewer hook up connection was not gas tight as the fitting was broken/missing. The last time we stayed at this KOA, we had problems with the electrical circuit breakers which took several hours to get repaired in the summer heat.

Easy registration. Nice wide roads. Pull throughs had plenty of space, shade available. Great views of mountains. No noise from highway. We could stay hooked up to pull out early. Will return.

Great staff!! Would like to see more lighting when I walk the dog at night so I can see where I'm going and avoid snakes. Otherwise a great stay!!

We have stayed at at this location twice now and both times we were charged a early arrival fee of $ 10.00 , both times our assigned site was open , and no additional effort was needed to allow us to check in a few hours early , we left very early on the day of our departure, and caused no inconvenience to the park or other guests, we feel this charge was excessive and uncalled for.

This KOA is a destination not just a stop along the way. Our grandkids enjoyed kayaking (which staff brought to the lake for us), fishing, roasting marshmallows, friendly staff, and grabbing an ice cream treat at the store. We will be back a THIRD time! Younger kids can enjoy their train, playground, and petting zoo. We are impressed!

The staff were incredibly friendly and the grounds very well kept. Bathrooms/showers were clean as well, which is always appreciated. Overall a great stay and highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful setting. we stayed one night in a 32 ft 5th wheel along with a 14 ft utility trailer behind it. Our site was plenty long. Just a bit off level but not bad. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This was such a fun place to stay. We had a few questions and even though it was a holiday the camp hosts called us back. We stayed in a tent site. Plenty of grass for the dog to explore. The showers were hot which is always appreciated and bathrooms open 24/7. The laundry was also open and not busy, unfortunately there wasn't a change machine inside so we weren't able to do laundry. There is a catch and release pond, K9 dog area, and even a walk to the beach/lake! Our favorite part was visiting all the animals they have on site: cows, miniature horses, donkeys, ducks, chickens, etc!

This is by far the best KOA I have stayed at. Easy in and out with a big rig. Beautiful trees and a walk to the lake with a big Beach(this time of year). 31Oct. It looks like the lake goes up and might lose some of the beach in summer. I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff and very clean.
