The area was really pretty and the campgrounds itself was kept very well. We stayed in a cabin and it was so cute and had everything we needed. We got in late and it was kinda chilly and they had the heater on when we got there so it was super cozy. Only problem was the hot water in the shower smelled like sulfur. If you stay here make sure you walk back to the lake!!

Beautiful kampground!! Cabin was clean and had an amazing view of the catch and release pond. 3 minute walk to trails and the lake. Staff was all very welcoming and helpful.

We had a great stay! We arrived late and our key and instructions were ready and waiting for us even without staff being there! the cabin was perfect and easy to find. The area was really clean and checking out was a breeze!

Weekend stay to attend a family gathering. Stayed at camping cabins as I feel they are cleaner than the hotel options in Checotah.

Very friendly helpful and friendly staff. We went to the free Ice Cream event and went to the Breakfast for Dinner event. We enjoyed the hiking trail to the lake. We gave treats to the miniature animals and Daisey the Cow. Unfortunately they were out of treats for the beautiful assortment of chickens, Rest rooms were exceptionally clean. Our rustic cabin was very comfortable.

Stayed for 1 night on our way from the west coast to the east coast. The cabin was a pleasant break from travel. Nicely decorated. Surrounded by trees. Very comfortable. Much better than being confined to a hotel room.

We absolutely love the KOA campsite Checotah/Eufaula campground. We've Saturday there 3 times the past 2 years. We'll definitely be back again. The ladies at the front desk are the sweetest. Everyone is so friendly. We love the games that you can get from the gift shop and take back to your campground for the family to enjoy.

Friendly and helpful staff. The grounds are really pretty and well-kept. We stayed in a cabin and it was clean. There is a wonderful path down to a lake that we enjoyed taking. We went to the Lin Chinese restaurant in town and it was excellent. Overall we had a wonderful visit to this KOA.

You did not disappoint! Loved the cabin and its proximity to the lake. The store and store managers were fantastic. We rented a kayak and a canoe and they were at the lake each morning, waiting for us! We had a lovely time and we can't wait to come back. Thank you for a great little vacation! It was very much appreciated!!

The staff at this KOA were friendly, nice, and sociable. The bathrooms were clean and the hot water lasted a long time. However, our fist night in the cabins was plagued with spiders. I'm no stranger to the outdoors I've stayed at many KOA cabin sites in the last few years but the bugs here we're unrivaled. Webs with multiple spiders spanned across the porch swing, ants inside the cabin. Miserable

All staff was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. The whole camp was clean and a joy to stay at. Please have cabins sprayed for bed bugs. We woke up with several bites plus we had one crawling on top of sheets. Yes we would stay here again .

Nice clean campground, however with the lack of clothes in areas it would be really nice if the campground offered some type of food items for meals, had a kitchen, or at least had some decent coffee. After a long day of driving it’s not great to have to drive another 10 or 12 miles just to get some fast food and the very few choices available.

Beautiful campground and friendly staff. I rented the delux cabin. It was so cute but the tv would not work and the sink and toilet were clogged upon my arrival. I would have rated it 5 stars if not for that.

Terrible problem with Ants, sluggish sink, couldn’t get the tv to work, not enough linen, no soap in bathroom or at bathroom sink and pool was not open. Didn’t realize the linen problem until the office was closed. Very disappointing.

The pool was not open and we came in the weekend after Memorial Day weekend. We were not informed that the pool was out of order even upon arrival. The access to the lake was not very inviting probably because of all the rain. However, the young man showing us our place was so great, great customer service and so friendly.

Very friendly ladies greeted me as I checked in and made sure I knew there was ice cream! The bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the layout of the campground included special things like a trail to the lake and animals to watch and pet.

This was such a fun place to stay. We had a few questions and even though it was a holiday the camp hosts called us back. We stayed in a tent site. Plenty of grass for the dog to explore. The showers were hot which is always appreciated and bathrooms open 24/7. The laundry was also open and not busy, unfortunately there wasn't a change machine inside so we weren't able to do laundry. There is a catch and release pond, K9 dog area, and even a walk to the beach/lake! Our favorite part was visiting all the animals they have on site: cows, miniature horses, donkeys, ducks, chickens, etc!

This is by far the best KOA I have stayed at. Easy in and out with a big rig. Beautiful trees and a walk to the lake with a big Beach(this time of year). 31Oct. It looks like the lake goes up and might lose some of the beach in summer. I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff and very clean.
