If you like a more quiet experience while still having pool and beach access, this is the right place. My husband, two teenage daughters and I really enjoyed the campground and plan to return.

The dog park water dispenser was broken. Very crowded and expensive park. The amenities are good but over crowding makes them difficult to enjoy.

This was our second stay this year, first time was great , second stay was fine minus the security guy with the weird mustache, really felt like my son was picked out by that guy more times than should have been . One time the security guy made the right call. But the next time he got on him for “standing up” on the golf kart . This was at the marshmellow thing they did for the kids. Unnecessa

Our overall stay was good. The customer service experience left much us a little disappointed. We stayed a total of 8 days without the grass being cut on our site. It was already high when we arrived. There were also repairs to the CATV connection that needed repairs. The KOA staff (both store and maintenance) did not give us a warm friendly feeling during our stay.

We love the koa and stay there often but housekeeping needs to do a better job. Our cabin was not clean at all. The toilet hadn’t even been cleaned. I hate to have to clean when we get there. The canons are expensive. They should be clean.

We had a great time while staying in the cabin. The cabin was clean and close to the bay, which was nice. We are disappointed that the pool surf board and sprinklers were not turned on during the week as we stayed Sunday (not on) till Saturday. We have a 1 year old and that would have been amazing for him.

We have been coming to Cape Charles since the opening season under Sun RV. We fell in love with the campground and the location.Sadly there is a decline in the maintenance of the grounds and facilities Cabana's with tops missing, pool tiles missing, grass not mowed, bath houses dirty, pool cloudy, rubbish not picked up. RV sites not not being maintained. Beach area not being cleaned.

Front desk would not answer phone prior to arrival but were great once in person. RV rental was mostly good but around sink in bathroom was dirty. Pool bathroom was VERY gross. Restaurant was yummy and great! Had a good stay. Not great but good.

Few things we didn’t like were how close the sites where to each other. Also we had no idea the beach rentals were ably Thursday to Sunday and the cost extra. Also was disappointed that ice cream was only certain days. We loved how clean the place was and they picked up the trash when ever we put it out.

We have stayed here several times over the past 3 years and this past weekend was the worst for the price we paid. Not enough space to give my entire review but you need more people behind the desk in the camp store. This use to be our favorite campground but not anymore.

This day was nice but it took two days before they came to fix the screen and spray for the wasps at our cabin but everything else was very nice

Water fountain at dog park did not work. Others did not pick up after their pets. Bathrooms were filthy at times (hair on walls of shower stalls multiple consecutive days). Price of site and amenities higher than other places. Flies made eating outside impossible. Staff were mostly friendly. Site was crowded and on the small side. Otherwise had a nice vacation.

I have a few suggestions. First you need to have separate lines for registration and store purchases. It’s very inconvenient to stand in a line for 15 minutes to purchase a bag of ice. Your store needs to carry basic camping necessities such as toilet paper and plastic eating utensils. A coin machine in the laundromat would also be nice. Site had a trench from a repair. Nearly twisted ny ankle. Check out is 11 check in is 2. More than enough time to trim grass. Not the next day after we are all set up. The garbage and sewage treatment made smell near site unbearable. Bracket should be raked. If you sweep roads use water. More control on kids playing with golf carts. Would love to come back but you need to tidy up a bit.

Day 1 arrived, unpacked, was ready to hit the beach but realized our cabin door wouldn’t lock. There were no maintenance people refused to call a locksmith. Offered us an RV, but that’s not what we booked. Watched others check into other cabins. Had to wait for following day for maintenance. Blue mats covered our site and no others. . Day 2 no grill. It was an memorable experience, this was our first RV experience. The ocean, pool and the great outdoors doesn't get any better. It reminded me of the importance of simple living and getting back to basics.

We have never been there before. Didn’t know what to expect. We loved everything about it. The grounds and bath houses were spotless. Really enjoyed the beach and the golf cart rental.

Beautiful campgrounds but there's a need for more Activities.. No miniature golf Or a fishing pier A jetski and/or boat rental would have been even nicer too.Still rates very high in my book of places to revisit. The potential to become a 5 star is there.

We enjoyed the stay . Just a couple of things . The large dog park. Has no shade and no water for the dogs . I mentioned this twice to staff and was told, only that the water fountain had not worked for some time ... ? Not that it would be repaired ... ? What a difference a year makes. CC/CB KOA was in much better shape with a top-notch maintenance team and great service from the front desk also. Not one thing was out of place or was an issue. Wait, the main pool bathrooms/showers were a bit TOO COOL...LOL. All of this during a very busy/crowded period at the campground. Special thanks to America who helped with an unruly loose dog. THANKS!!!

It was nice, wish there were more activities during the week Glad there were trees, will help more in a few years, to provide much needed shade. All staff were polite and willing to help. Extreme hot/humid weather made it difficult for those of us with no a/c...we bought a LOT of ice cream.

WE WERE CLOSE TO THE FISH CLEANING STATION AND IT ABSOLUTELY SMELLED LIKE ROTTEN FISH THE WHOLE WEEK IT WAS AWFUL

Loved the campground! The pool is great! Nice to have The Jack Spot on the premises. Grass needs to be tended to more regularly. And the prices are steep. However, we enjoyed our stay!

We were checked in by a clerk who acted as if she was doing us a favor. We are usually escorted to the site, no escort, they said they were too busy. However they escorted other people. RV was minimally cleaned, also had many flies in it. Dog poop (I don't have a dog) at my site when we arrived. Campground has a terrible smell. Location on the beach was nice.

Check in is always easy. The front desk gal Mary was very detailed and helpful! We travel from MN and it's ways refreshing to get to the beach! This was our second year, we camp with friends and we plan on making this an annual event.

1. Request on my reservation was not adhered to with ample spots in the area. 2. Too many young kids under 14 riding golf carts speeding up and down the RV park streets. It’s dangerous & someone will get hurt seriously. 3. Dog poop all over the K9 parK. Rude campers to not pick up m, but staff needs to check it. 4. People smoking at pool with nobody monitoring. 5. Front pool closed.

Website offered shuttle to local town, but when I asked after our 1st night the front desk dId they are offering that this year. Well then take it off your site! Not worth the $200.00 night and the deluxe site didn't have a grill. Ice cream sold in cooler was bad! UnfortunatelyWe didn't know till the next day! And it was way over priced.The Jacks is nothing more than frozen seafood deep fried.

I have gotten spoiled by other KOAs with wooded areas and trees. We missed having some shade. The campsites were a little tight. We visited the camp store and I was a bit disappointed in the lack of items on the shelves. On the good side the staff was friendly and the campground was clean.

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
