Love the Cape Charles KOA campgrounds. Great beach and love downtown Cape Charles. Will definitely be back again.

Employees all were so very very friendly. Cabin could have been a little cleaner and several items still needed to be fixed. Heat in Kitchen area, threshold to sliding doors had nails not covered with a molding. Would stay here again for sure!!!

Cabin was dirty and dusty, mouse droppings on night stand. Kitchen Sink drain was gross and stuck upside down. We cleaned whole cabin, Heat didn’t work, gave a small plug in heater. Horrible floors you can’t get clean, babys feet were black after walking for a little bit in there. I get it’s camping, but it’s offered as luxury glamping! No one offered any compensation for all the inconveni

I had my wedding at your facility on April 2nd everything was great we had a few Minor hiccups along the way but I definitely will come back. My only suggestion is if someone is having a big event like that there would be some type of offering back for the bride and groom. Complimentary golf car something nice in our room money off of our accommodation... something! shoot a koa membership!

Its a beautiful to stay and the ocean view is beautiful. I booked in Feb,for the White Wedding. Was told I'd be in a cabin with the White party. I was told it would cost more to bring my dog and I wouldn't be with the White wedding party. Opted out of bringing my dog. I was put in a cabin away from the Party anyway and had dog bowl in my cabin. First night no heat. We froze.Hide a bed broken..

We came last year and it was amazing we came this year it was extremely disappointing we ended up leaving early nobody informed us when booking that the restaurant would be closed the cabin was so filthy we found Mouse poop on the bedding no blinds in the room the AC didn't work and neither did the shower we took cold showers. I cancelled all of my reservations for the future very sad @ KOA

Upgraded me to a nice cabin as they had winterized the RVs. I had a wonderful relaxing stay and plan to return next year.

Friendly & courteous staff. Cabin was cute, cozy but needed a thorough cleaning. One bed unmade, spill on refrigerator shelf, dust on the window ceils & baseboards, mouse droppings under sink cabinets. I talked to Nicole, who was very understanding & apologic about our concerns. She graciously made some accommodations. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & will consider another visit.

We rented one of the RV's (RV29). The campground was very nice and the staff very polite. The main bathhouse near our RV was very clean. The only issue we had while staying at the KOA was the heat in the RV did not work. The front office was notified after the first night and we were told they sent someone to fix it but the heat never worked. Pretty cold, but overall a good experience.

We had a great time and rented a pet friendly RV trailer site. We will be back next year and this time will rent a pet friendly deluxe cabin for our old bones. The RV trailer was a good fit for us. It would've been nice of the mattresses were a bit thicker. This was a first time for us - renting an RV. Other than the mattress thickness, everything else was great. That's why Deluxe cabins for 2022.

The beds were terrible. Our trailer could have used some updates especially the bathroom. But we had a great time anyway. Maybe next time I'll rent a cottage.

The cleanliness and sanitation of the cabins was lacking. Our cabin had hair from other renters on the bed, linens and towels. The floor was not swept thoroughly and one bed was not made. When we brought this to the attention of the staff we were told beds are not made upon checkin. The neighboring cabin had a bed bug, fleas, and hair throughout. Overall, I would not recommend the cabins.

My family and I stayed in one of the Cottages. When I arrived at our Cottage I found it to be dirty. Only 1 bed was made and there were only 3 towels. I reported my findings along with a picture of the dirt. Once I swept the floors and wiped down the counters and made up the second bed things looked up. I was very disappointed but made the best of things.

The bedspread/comforter was filthy. There was hair on the sheets when we checked in. I am unsure if the sheets were even washed. I am thankful we brought our own bedding. The shower curtain fell on me when I pulled it closed.

Really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the staff was amazing, and the proximity to the private beach was great. Only issue was our deluxe cabin was not very clean upon check in. Dirty dishes placed back in the cabinets, food splashes and stains on the walls, dirty base boards and doors, and outdoor furniture wasn’t cleaned. Took us a bit to clean it up but we were all good after that work out!

Great camping cabin-loved the screened-in front porch! The Halloween weekend was great for my grandchild. Easy check-in and Checkout. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Camper was in terrible condition cleanliness wise, campground was bare and activities weren’t nearly as promised :/ we gave up a great stay to come here only to sadly be disappointed

Cabin was extremely dirty, dog hair on bunk and sand in the queen bed. Staff refuse to provide toilet paper, they said they forgot to bring it and that house keeping was closed. There was no where to plug the golf cart in, the outlet outside was not working and they said that maintenance was not available. Staff was rude including supervisor yelling across the counter at me as I checked out.

Very close to the beach! The cottages themselves are well maintained, but the cleaning service wasn't very good for us. When we arrived, our bed looked like they had dirty linens, the toilet hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, the sofa felt gritty and the baseboards were dusty. When you stay here, they ask that you to sweep, wipe the counters and remove your trash. The cost should include hotel clean.

Rented a permanent trailer for cycling event. Could had been a little cleaner, but proximity to event, convenience and quality of JackSpot, fabulous beach, and patient, helpful staff made it a wonderful weekend.

While the setting and the lodging intent is ideal, the care of lodging leaves a lot to be desired. Sketchy towels, dirty duvet, bunk beds not made and not enough linens to make them, no coffee maker/coffee, no toaster, cabin dirty and not sanitized, deadlock didn’t not work our sons cabin next door didn’t have hot water. The front desk tried to help but overwhelmed.

Great Halloween activities.We stayed Oct-22-24. The RV we rented had a couple broken things: kitchen drawer, window blind, bunk bed siding screw. I called ahead & front desk told me pillows and blankets are not provided, but when we arrived they were already inside our RV with the rest of the linens. Staff was very friendly. Please add a rug to the entrance of RV to help from bringing sand inside.

My family and I have stayed at this Cape Charles Chesapeake Bay KOA location several times in the past two years. This weekend visit specifically (my birthday weekend Oct 22-24), was a bit disappointing on a few things. Seemed like RV 131 was verified thoroughly before we checked in: bathroom light & fan was not working and the top stove igniter was broken. Broken blinds need to be replaced.

The overysite was nice but the woman’s bathroom near the tents could be cleaned. Also the Glamping Tents didn’t seems to have been cleaned prior to our visit. The futon had crackers over it. The towels looked dirty, a dirty foot mark on one of the bed cover. The toiletries items had dirt like it had been dropped outside and then just placed in the basket.

Was given incorrect paperwork upon checking in. Asked for a golfcart, wasnt given a key or paperwork for that. After presenting my ID, i wasnt given it back until a random employee brings it to be on the beach for some reason. Cabin was dirty, sheets had dog hair on them. Blinds we torn, couch cushions were ripped up. Broom had chew marks on the handle. Big roach ran across the floor upon arrival.

We arrive Friday around 7:15 pm . The front office was very kind and pleasant and try to attend to all our needs , unfortunately it was not possible . The gave us and RV with mice dropping al over the kitchen . We went to the front desk for a new one and the gave us another RV with the same issue and this time the beds where never change . Housekeeping should be accountable for this .

We stayed in a safari tent. The tent was dirty, had an unpleasant smell and was damaged. The zip to the insect screen was broken and impossible to close, there were hooks missing from the main tent entrance, making it very noisy as it flapped about in the night. There was no coffee cups or coffee. The bed had dirty paw prints on it. The sofa was disgusting covered in hair, dirt and sand.

Cottage was nice but could have been cleaner. Found glasses in the cabinet were dirty. Missing dishes & utensils. Great spot.

All staff members were great! However the cabin accommodations (C735) is in need of a deep cleaning & make over. The kitchen equipment(pots, pans, cookie sheets, etc. are stained and just gross. We checked out a day early when the cabin became infested with gnats for no reason. I understand that this is camping, but when you rent a screened in porch cabin, bugs shouldn't be an issue inside.

We were frustrated when, on the third (?) night of our 6 night stay, the smoke alarm or the CO2 alarm went off late at night for no apparent reason. The same alarm went off 2 or 3 times the following day/night, as well as the one after that.. It happened in the middle of the night a few times and woke us and our baby up!

UNKNOWINGLY, my reservations were made through the call center, it was a Complete disaster. From pricing, accommodations, expected View. Ultimately, it got worked out to everyones satisfaction. We stayed our time and overall enjoyed our time there. �

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
