Did not expect dogs to be barking and fighting all hours of the night and day. Dogs that have “behavior problems” should be muzzled. Your Facebook ad is misleading. Beach extremely small. Restaurant food very limited. Parking area small for the size of trailer and # of slides we told you before we schedule We would not return.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The pool is nice and the bay beach is pretty. However the beach had trash on it, the lots are not level, and the communication from management is lacking. We weren’t even told about the trash pick up and had to go ask.

We had a nice time. The KOA was well taken care of! The staff was over the top. Everyone working very hard to make our stay great. Camp site clean level and great size. The pool was good. The beach was nice but a little difficult to get to.

RV sites were too close. We were unable to choose the site close to our son who we hadn't seen in 2 years.

Extremely rude staff. Not helpful at all. Had to wash towels because there were none to give. Gym very dirty. Thought there would be a gas grill and nice chairs like all of the other KOA we have stayed at. Pool very nice. Restaurant good. Nice location. I expected clean towels and friendliness at least for $350 a night.

The restaurant Jackspot was fantastic and the beach was amazing! The cabin was really dirty and the sheets weren’t very clean.

Campground was looking really great. Well maintained and clean. I had an electrical issue with my 50 amp service upon my arrival. I reported it to the front desk and 10 minutes later had a young man arrive asking how he could help. 15 minuets later he had me up and running. That's impressive. No amenities for the younger children except the pool and the beach. The restaurant had crazy hours and it took a long time to get food.

Sites in section 200 are very tight could not open our awnings so we had to move to the 400 section$$$. There is an older hotel at check-in that is not obvious when booking. There is a restaurant on the beach that is not affiliated with the park and patrons of the restaurant can easily access the park(security?). There is a nice pool and access to a nice beach. The sunsets were great! Overpriced

Majority of the Staff was rude. Our cabin was dusty, filled with Cobb webs, and the walls look like they haven’t been painted in years. The restaurant had people eating in one location and the other location was only allowed for certain people and we were told it was closed. Arcade was a big disappointment. The beach & pool was nice.

Has the makings of a great resort! Standard resort rules, but no enforcement. Youngs kids driving around in golf carts without adults, dogs off leashes, no adult supervision at pool, noise well after midnight, etc.. Bathrooms appear clean, but have strong urine smell. Could use a little day to day TLC. Location and beach access was great.

Rented RV. Kept being a problem with toilet so kept using bathouse. Was given a 10% discount but for the kind of money that was paid it was ridiculous. The employees were friendly but would never answer phone so had to keep going up. Washing machine card readers didn't work so it left only 2 washers and driers that took quarters. Bathhouse only had a few soap dispensers that were not empty.

The only thing that I would recommend is to decide a way to prevent guests to 'camp' on the pavilions at the pool. It was 9 am and no one in sight at the pool but yet all the pavilions were taken by people just leaving a towel or even a couple of mugs in place.. not fair. If you ate not there you should not be able to camp on them.

The blinds were all torn apart, camper was not thoroughly cleaned, smelled of sewage outside due to the camper next to the one I rented was being snaked. We weren’t given the sites we were told we were getting. Restaurant closed at 7 on Sunday without any notice. Worst stay here I’ve had. Very disappointed.

This used to be a great place. It’s a hot mess now. Litter and spilled food not cleaned up. People went right through our site and the empty sites next door on golf carts & bicycles. Relieved their dogs on empty sites. “Campers” staying in the cabins and rental RVs need to be schooled on camping etiquette. Loud music blasting on golf carts at all hours. They only give 400 characters to type- not big rig friendly, we had to ask ppl to move their vehicles for us to get in our spot. Can't sit outside-between the bees in the high grass not mowed, to the ant invasion, and the mosquitoes- we are still itching. Great location on the bay with plenty to do nearby. The cabin we stayed in was nice though needed some minor maintenance, some of which was down as we were leaving. We enjoyed the beach and the on site restaurant as well as nearby beaches!

Stayed in pet friendly cabin. Lock was fualty, but maintenance replaced. All staff that was met was great. Sheets where not sure if they were cleaned of not. Staff did not leave enough towels for 4 people. Price is higher than normal KOA but you do get a beach.

We have always loved KOA & have been to many. We always get a cabin & have been 100% happy with the cabin, comfort & cleanliness until we visited this KOA. The cabin was dirty, the floors were full of sand dirt & hair. The cloth headboard in the master bedroom was covered in a layer of dust & hair & we also saw black mold covering the inside of the a/c unit. We will NEVER stay here again! Terrible

I LOVED our stay at Cape Charles KOA my only complaint is there was old food left in our microwave in our cabin …. That just showed the cabin wasn’t cleaned well…. Also a couple of the people at the front desk when we were checking in were rude but it didn’t mess up our vacay the cabin was beautiful and the beach was gorgeous!

Was put in too small of site,requested open pull thru. Was told sold out.in fact the entire stay there was 3 available.grass in site was 12”high

We enjoyed it greatly! The pool was nice, beach was clean and nice, bathrooms convenient and clean. Our only complaint was that our spot, and others close by had had some underground utility work done and the ground was. Left rather uneven on spots. Would be easy to twist an ankle or something.

Had a wonderful week there! My only complaint is trying to reach someone on the phone. I called and left several messages and no one ever returned my calls.

Ratings reflect the horrible camp sites. The property & bath houses were clean, climate controlled & fresh. Staff was friendly. Very nice beach. Beautiful sunsets. Two pool areas that looked clean - but we never used these facilities. Camp Store had a decent selection of merchandise & open 24hrs. Camp sites were piled on top of each other. Had 3 other neighbors on top of us when outside.

Clean modern cabin, wonderful clean beach, great restaurant and bar, very quiet at night, wonderful town, bay water was refreshing, staff was helpful and polite. We will definitely be back.

The beach was beautiful. Our dog had a wonderful time in the water and with the other dogs. Guests at campsite were friendly. Cabin was clean, but we were missing many items (dust pan, dish towels, pot holders) and had a small supply of toilet paper and paper towels. Watch out for nighttime golf cart drivers. Place seems understaffed for demand. Larger staff might help alleviate some issues.

Really enjoyed the venue, cleanliness and service. Only gave a 4 as there was no bread, milk or coffee available in store and water was less than acceptable.

Not enough employees on site to properly staff amenities and facilities. Bath houses did not get proper cleanings, bar at was not open, Limited staff at store that did not allow our kids to purchase ice cream

Golf carts are alittle crazy. Key works every cart. Staff member was moving our cart when we walked off the beach with out telling us and another time someone took our cart and it was missing for a few hours . My 20 year old was driving the cart at 10:30pm and was told to park it for no reason! Alittle too much. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5

It wasn’t clear what time the pool or the jackpot was open til on Sundays. The pool area was ok. But compared to Masseys landing in Delaware it wasn’t as good. This KOA needs a pool bar for sure!

Kids had a good time, pool and beach are nice. Reported hot water issue with rental 2 day of our 6 night stay but it was never fixed. A/C went out in the middle of the last night. When I told front desk about the issues she said ok thank you. No apology for the hot water never being fixed or any offer of money off a future stay or back as partial refund.

Very disappointed in RV rental. Awning was brocken on arrival. Ants all over the camper and AC was covered in mold and dust. Ending up leaving after 1 night and finding other accommodations.

Me and my friends were suppose to have buddy sites and we didn’t. They moved us someplace else. It was dirty, cig butts everywhere, the grass needed to be mowed. Not worth 141.00 a night.

Over priced. No Shade. Sites too close together. Ice Cream shop closed on a Saturday night. I will not waste my time coming back.

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
