We asked for a site where we could see the Bay were given one as far back from Bay as you could get in the category we chose.

We had a group of five families camping together and you assigned spaces so we were next to each other - Thank you! Regarding improvements…..the lawn area for crafts and such really needs improvement.

Stayed in our 40' Class A motorhome close to the back of the hotel. The site was quiet and close to "the action". The onsite restaurant (Jackspot) had great food and drinks. There was live music at Jackspot, which was on the beach. The music was awesome and the staff at this KOA were friendly and professional. The grounds are kept clean and maintained.

Rented a permanent trailer for cycling event. Could had been a little cleaner, but proximity to event, convenience and quality of JackSpot, fabulous beach, and patient, helpful staff made it a wonderful weekend.

The park is clean and well maintained! The campsite is grassy and the fire pit perfect! Lovely restaurant on the beach. Great bike trail and historic park right across the road. Loved it!!

While the setting and the lodging intent is ideal, the care of lodging leaves a lot to be desired. Sketchy towels, dirty duvet, bunk beds not made and not enough linens to make them, no coffee maker/coffee, no toaster, cabin dirty and not sanitized, deadlock didn’t not work our sons cabin next door didn’t have hot water. The front desk tried to help but overwhelmed.

Great time! Koa was missing the jumping pad for kids. The beach was great and my dog enjoyed swimming. Wish there was a hot tub or pool open year round!

Great Halloween activities.We stayed Oct-22-24. The RV we rented had a couple broken things: kitchen drawer, window blind, bunk bed siding screw. I called ahead & front desk told me pillows and blankets are not provided, but when we arrived they were already inside our RV with the rest of the linens. Staff was very friendly. Please add a rug to the entrance of RV to help from bringing sand inside.

Our site wasn’t the best. Drain line not in great spot Fire ring in the wrong spot for a back in site it was way at the front of our camper where we couldn’t use awning because of a tree but we did enjoy our stayThe sunset on Saturday night was amazing

My family and I have stayed at this Cape Charles Chesapeake Bay KOA location several times in the past two years. This weekend visit specifically (my birthday weekend Oct 22-24), was a bit disappointing on a few things. Seemed like RV 131 was verified thoroughly before we checked in: bathroom light & fan was not working and the top stove igniter was broken. Broken blinds need to be replaced.

Sites are the closest I have been to any campsite, there was a camp worker there that showed us to our site that was very ice and friendly. Camp security was far too pushy about the second car that arrived to unload, just parked and within 5 seconds he was there telling us we could only unload there, which is exactly our intention. Camp noise after 11pm was too much

The overysite was nice but the woman’s bathroom near the tents could be cleaned. Also the Glamping Tents didn’t seems to have been cleaned prior to our visit. The futon had crackers over it. The towels looked dirty, a dirty foot mark on one of the bed cover. The toiletries items had dirt like it had been dropped outside and then just placed in the basket.

Was here for the bike tour. Loved the campground, the view, the community, and the nearby restaurants we visited. I will be back.

Loved it! Jackspot is great....bathrooms were clean. The trailers are a little older but functional... Very happy with the experience!

If I could rate higher I would!!! The campground is clean and quiet. I love being so close to the ocean! My five-year old granddaughter told me she would like to live there all the time. I agreed with her. I can't think of another campground in Virginia that we would consider staying in.

Overall great place. Staff super friendly and helpful. Fun things for our 2 and 3yr old to do. Only issue is check in. No signage for Koa … saw beach club registration. Please add a sign for KOA check in also.

Was given incorrect paperwork upon checking in. Asked for a golfcart, wasnt given a key or paperwork for that. After presenting my ID, i wasnt given it back until a random employee brings it to be on the beach for some reason. Cabin was dirty, sheets had dog hair on them. Blinds we torn, couch cushions were ripped up. Broom had chew marks on the handle. Big roach ran across the floor upon arrival.

Came here for a quick weekend trip for the kids to do some Halloween activities. Great site, great staff, awesome views from the restaurant. Looking forward to coming back in the summer.

We only stayed one night on our way to Outer Banks Hopitality was excellent as was check in etc We have stayed prior to this in same location for longer time and was very pleased .

The staff was great! The beach was big and clean. Loved that was could enjoy our dog off-leash. I was really disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms/houses. The posted, daily cleaning schedule said it took 10 minutes to properly clean four toilets, two shower stalls, clean counters, sink and entire floor! 10 minutes? The worst was the shower stalls. The grout was disgusting!

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
