While undergoing a medical crisis which required ambulance and overnight hospital stay, staff were exceptional, standing by while the Emergency responders were assessing the situation, offering support and assistance. They asked us to let them know when we got back, and they again offered assistance and support. Had we needed more, I know we would have had it, graciously.Thank you!

We loved the location and the amenities but we prefer a little more space and privacy we requested a site on the edge of the park but was not given one and there were many avail.

Amazing place. Great staff. Nice friendly people staying there also. Lots of room to bike ride and let kids play. Fun events all weekend to keep the family doing things together. Restaurant right on the beach that has delicious foods and drinks!!

The campground itself was great! Friendly and helpful staff. Sights were close to each other, but level and grassy. The private beach was nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious! My only complaint would be the store needed restocking and was unimpressive as compared to other KOA camp stores. Also wish I could use a credit card on file to make purchases.

first time staying at a KOA campground. I was not very impressed. I thought it would be kept up more as a resort style RV campground. I have usually stayed at Cherrystone and would honestly say it is not much above what Cherrystone was when I first started going around 2013. The customer service was very good though., It was more of the ambience that seemed to be missing.

We stayed in a glamping tent. We had to use the bath house and unfortunately it was not kept clean. It did not look like it was cleaned the entire weekend. Other than that, we had a great time.

We stayed in rental RV. Staff was friendly and helpful. Unit was clean. Mattress were uncomfortable, we bought air mattress to add to bed. Unit was stocked with linens & dishes. Outside area was very nice to enjoy weather. Bathhouse was clean every time we used it. Laundry facilities were convenient. We enjoyed our stay

We decided to stay here on our way further south. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk ladies were awesome! We were escorted to our site which was fine. It’s a huge campground. The bathrooms, Spotless. We enjoyed our first night so much we decided to stay an extra night. The beach was wonderful and the sunsets over the bay were a great way to end our day. Our site was very spacious and level

We were hungry upon arrival, only to find out that the restaurant hours had changed, without changing the website. So, after settling in, we had to disconnect and drive 10 miles for food. We were stuffed tight between two larger RVs, while rows of empty sites were available. Also, we called from the road and paid $38+, we later found out that if we booked on the website, the rate was only $35+ :(

We loved our stay. Unfortunately we came at a time when Jackspot was not open. But next time hopefully we will get to go there. We had such a nice time that we already booked for next year before we left. We loved the beach snd the Chesapeake.

the staff was friendly and very professional I stayed in an rental RV the check in couldn't have been smoother in and out in 5 mins! the RV was clean but did have a small ant problem. but the whole experience was better than I had hoped for. Well worth the money....beatiful spot!!! Im already planning my trip back!

Probably the most dog friendly place I have even been. The sunsets from the deck at Jackspot were some of the best I have seen since my time in Key West.

Had a great time. The campsites are very clean and well taken care of. We love that they have the Jackspot on the property at the beach. It's a fun place to hang out and watch the sunset.

This campground seems overutilized and under maintenanced. I understand staff shortages...but then you need to change the services you offer, not consistently use that as an excuse. No comparison to KOA VA Beach whose amenties and services are FAR superior. Compared to other KOA'S I would rate this average.

They tried to put us in a spot that was way too short for our rig.....women screamed, children cried and we were finally placed in a spot that was comfortable for our rig. Amen. The restrooms are deplorable and really should have more frequent cleanings. Other than that, park is nice, it's on the beautiful bay....and life is good

I reserved a glamping tent for two nights. The tent was not maintained at all. There was mold and mildew growing all over it. It is infested with mice. There were mouse droppings everywhere (they got into my bread bag). The fish cleaning station is right behind the glamping tents and all you can smell is rotting fish. These tents are not worth the money. I was extremely disappointed.

Level site. Good location. Very large campground that was about half full. Don’t understand why the few campers there all had to be bunched together. Would have much preferred to be at least a little spread out.

We stayed in the Safari Tents and only draw back was how dirty they were. There was a ridiculous amount of dust and dirt over everything. The futon mattress had stains, there were used Band-Aids on the floor, the towels provided had dropping all over them. The food at the Jack Spot was terrible. The staff was super nice but we couldn't get refills on our drinks because they were sitting down

Overall we were very disappointed We opted to stay in a camper thinking it would be fun for our 2 boys. It was dirty we had to clean before we could even bring our things in. We found a sock in a bed,dirt on the floor, the bathroom and kitchen were dirty. I had to use a rescue inhaler on my son, most likely due to mold in the vents. The views from the restaurant were great, the pool was nice.

Our stay was terrible!! We rented a camper and it was filthy. Went we checked in I had to sign a paper that would hold us accountable for any damages. Well all the mini blinds were damaged!! So I called the front desk to have someone come and check it out. 2 hours later no one came so I took pictures and went back to the front desk just to be told not to worry they were aware!!! Food left in stove

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
