We booked with another family and we came a day earlier than them. Having that said, we got a better understanding of the site lay out and wanted a different site than what KOA assigned before the other family came. The front desk could not accommodate our request. We saw a lot of empty and quieter sites. We ended up with noisy neighbors, partying until late night!

The staff was so friendly and everything was well maintained and clean. The lots are a little crowded but still a very good size.

Facilities were nice as was the beach. We didn't use the pool area, but it looked very inviting and clean. This would be a great place for families as there were a lot of activities. Our main problem with the campground was the density of sites. It was like a fiberglass jungle with one camper parked cheek to jowl with the next.

We absolutely loved the Campground, the Beach is beautiful especially at Sunset! The Jackspot has great food! We were the least bit happy with our cabin 153. Upon arrival we discovered a clogged very smelly bath tub drain, a leaking kitchen sink and a stained bed comforter( so gross) The floors definitely could use a GOOD mopping. If we ever get our own camper we will return!!

We were in site 305, We were there in Sept. middle of week so much of park empty.. The dog park is roomy and well maintained. Did not use K9 water park. Campground needs a fishing pier. We visited Cape Charles and the Custis tomb/archeological site. Enjoyed our stay.

Another very nice stay at our 'home' campground. Perfect end-of-summer weather and bay/pool water temps!!! No issues at all with the campground, per se, but the campers that let their dogs roam off-lead just drive us crazy as we never know when they will harass our dogs. We would hate to pepper-spray an aggressive dog, but we will protect our dogs while walking them on their leads.

Arrived a little early and had no issues checking in. Check in was very fast and very easy. Grounds are very clean as are the restrooms. All staff were great!! Very happy the pool was still open and enjoyed it. The view from the beach and the sunsets were beautiful. Will be going back for sure.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and the campground was very well maintained. This was our first KOA experience and can say we were very pleased. We did not have any negative experiences and will most likely be coming back again. Thank you

It was ok, early week(Tuesday and Wednesday) nothing much to do, plus the rain didn’t help. Running the shuttle would be helpful.

Really loved the dog beach play area, especially at low tide. The camp grounds were beautifully kept up. The staff was truly helpful and friendly. We extended because we were enjoying the park so much!

Loved it! Only two things that could have been better, if the beach was cleaned of debris from the bay and we saw 2 mice running across camp site (eeek). We already booked time next year!

Terrible experience!! People’s need to be informed on camping etiquette. In over 40 years of camping, I’ve never made a complaint about other campers or felt the need to leave a campground early, but there is always a first.

Very pretty campground. Loved the dog beach!! Sites were a good size. Even tho over the weekend it was packed i didn't really feel crowded. I do wish that the restaurant was open during the week.

Enjoyable, very enjoyable and relaxing . Convenience of Virginia Beach is a plus as well as the summer series concerts. Downside, Bathhouse music at night way too loud, did not feel safe. Yellow shirt employees from housekeeping drive way too fast in the golf carts for the area.

Our Tent was not clean. Even sheets appeared to be not clean. We thought linens included towels but may not because of COVID. The Campground appeared to be clean. Will go back someday

Nice campground though spacing of sites is a bit crowded. Nice beach area. Setting in southern Delmarva is somewhat isolated which is both a plus and a minus, the minus from the view of access to services, restaurants, grocery and other shops. Needed a “jump” for a dead battery - maintenance folk were attentive and tried their best to be helpful but did not have adequate jumper cable or cha

Was a very busy weekend with the local band playing. Everything was at max capacity....but the team members here are the friendliest and most helpful of any campground we have visited thru the years. My only complaint is the restrooms near the beach were trashed and slow to get cleaned following the band night...but I recognize the difficulty.

Campground is real nice and well kept. Quiet hours are enforced very well. Pool area was big and having the beach right there was nice. The camp store was not very well stocked. ( I had to leave the campground to find toilet paper) and if you ran out of propane in the small 1 lb green cylinders, you were out of luck. You had to wind thru the hotel parking lot to get to the campground.

We were in a group of 7 RV’s and the staff managed to place most of us together. The campsites are much tighter than we are used to but it helped we were in a group. The best was the beach with Jackspot and having our beloved dogs with us everywhere. I have but only one criticism: why do people litter so much, especially on the beach? Trash was even in the bay. It was disheartening.

Overnight stay on our travels home. Amazing location. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back to enjoy beach, pool and restaurant!

Worst campsite we have ever had . Holes were everywhere. We had 4 in our party and 3 of us fell with one sprain ankle. You couldn’t even walk for holes . Site 307 . People next to us fell also . You need to fix the holes or you could have lawsuits. Reported it to security guard, he said it was from where they did construction and grass grew over the holes . Very disappointing stay

Our stay was a lot of fun. The only reason I didn’t give you a 5 rating is our sight, 220, was very small. The tree on the sight made it hard to put our awning out, all else was great. Thank you

The staff was very helpful, friendly and polite. We could watch sunsets at the bay every night. The Jackspot was great, but I really feel sorry for them, no help, no food. All of the hook ups worked fine and the crew placed us next to our travelling friends. Great Place , we hope to return soon.

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
