Great place! Enjoyed the activities. Just need a little more attention to detail. We booked an RV for 5 people. When we got there we only had to bath towels in the RV and incomplete sheet sets.

We stayed in a glamping tent. We had to use the bath house and unfortunately it was not kept clean. It did not look like it was cleaned the entire weekend. Other than that, we had a great time.

We stayed in rental RV. Staff was friendly and helpful. Unit was clean. Mattress were uncomfortable, we bought air mattress to add to bed. Unit was stocked with linens & dishes. Outside area was very nice to enjoy weather. Bathhouse was clean every time we used it. Laundry facilities were convenient. We enjoyed our stay

the staff was friendly and very professional I stayed in an rental RV the check in couldn't have been smoother in and out in 5 mins! the RV was clean but did have a small ant problem. but the whole experience was better than I had hoped for. Well worth the money....beatiful spot!!! Im already planning my trip back!

I reserved a glamping tent for two nights. The tent was not maintained at all. There was mold and mildew growing all over it. It is infested with mice. There were mouse droppings everywhere (they got into my bread bag). The fish cleaning station is right behind the glamping tents and all you can smell is rotting fish. These tents are not worth the money. I was extremely disappointed.

We stayed in the Safari Tents and only draw back was how dirty they were. There was a ridiculous amount of dust and dirt over everything. The futon mattress had stains, there were used Band-Aids on the floor, the towels provided had dropping all over them. The food at the Jack Spot was terrible. The staff was super nice but we couldn't get refills on our drinks because they were sitting down

Overall we were very disappointed We opted to stay in a camper thinking it would be fun for our 2 boys. It was dirty we had to clean before we could even bring our things in. We found a sock in a bed,dirt on the floor, the bathroom and kitchen were dirty. I had to use a rescue inhaler on my son, most likely due to mold in the vents. The views from the restaurant were great, the pool was nice.

Our stay was terrible!! We rented a camper and it was filthy. Went we checked in I had to sign a paper that would hold us accountable for any damages. Well all the mini blinds were damaged!! So I called the front desk to have someone come and check it out. 2 hours later no one came so I took pictures and went back to the front desk just to be told not to worry they were aware!!! Food left in stove

We had a wonderful and relaxing week at Cape Charles with our dog. He had a blast going to the beach and going to the dog park every day and we were able to enjoy a nice, slow paced week away.

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The campground is beautiful. We stayed in a cottage and the only problem we had was getting fresh towels. Otherwise, awesome experience, awesome location, and we would definitely return!

wasn't happy that your security told us to go back to our area at 11:05 we were there for a family reunion and still visiting when we were told our golf carts needed to be back on our sites. As adults we know to be quiet that others are sleeping. It was very complicated to contact front desk by any means. I know they were busy but, when a quest calls to ask for more towels etc. make it easier.

The view of the bay is breathtaking. The cabin needs some TLC and a deep cleaning. The staff is helpful and do their best with limited resources.

Very relaxing, need more food alternatives at cheaper price then jack spot that is only open 3 days a week, cabin could have been a little cleaner. Also need a tiki bar to walk up and get a drink. Over all very plesant stay, friendly staff great location. will absolutely be back.

We had to ask for enough towels for 6 people for our cabin multiple times. We still never had 6 wash cloths. The front desk staff was not professional. The cabin was dirty when we arrived We had to clean it before unloading our stuff. We will not be returning.

I am disappointed that I spent as much money as I did for rude staff and a camper that wasn’t very clean. Maybe it was because it was so busy? My mom had a cabin and it was so nice! The beach and restaurant are amazing but that’s about the only reason we chose this KOA. We have been here before and I was less satisfied than before.

Enjoyed beautiful grounds clean. Friendly staff. They have nice tent sites. Tenters should be in tent sites and the number if families or people in tents and cars on site should be enforced. The site behind had 3 families, 2 cars and 4 tents and were encroaching on other sites. Otherwise we will be back.

We absolutely loved the Campground, the Beach is beautiful especially at Sunset! The Jackspot has great food! We were the least bit happy with our cabin 153. Upon arrival we discovered a clogged very smelly bath tub drain, a leaking kitchen sink and a stained bed comforter( so gross) The floors definitely could use a GOOD mopping. If we ever get our own camper we will return!!

Our Tent was not clean. Even sheets appeared to be not clean. We thought linens included towels but may not because of COVID. The Campground appeared to be clean. Will go back someday

Loved everything about the campground the beach the sunset and the friendliness of all the Staff but I do have an upset in regard to the bed mattress were Sooooo HARD had to sleep on the couch I just need to relay that to whom it may concern

I have stayed at Cape Charles KOA for the 3rd year in a row right before my kids start school in September. I must say this time though, my cabin was absolutely filthy. The blinds were destroyed from a previous dog. The bathroom was disgusting. I feel like my 9 year old could have cleaned that place better then it was cleaned. I was less then impressed this time and will probably NOT return again.

The cleaning of the cabin could have been better. Very Dirty Toilet! However the staff did come directly and cleaned up the issue. Tina at the front desk was very attentive. She listens to your needs and addresses them head on. Great employee you have working there.

The cabin was dirty, the top lock would not work, Found a cockroach in the bathroom, the screen door it was damaged, there were no chairs and sitting around the campfire as advertised, kitchen was not a full kitchen as advertised as many cups and plates were missing, the walls were scuffed up and there were stickers on the walls. I would not recommend any cabin rentals.

Check in was a disaster...I rented a safari tent which was still not ready at 400 pm check in time. I waited by the pool and they called and informed me it was ready. I went in and it was not cleaned, dirty towels and sheets crumpled up in the floor and obviously not cleaned. I went back to the front desk to complain and the girl at the desk had an Attitude!!! It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
