The RV was terrible. The blinds were all broken, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and the place looked not very clean. I would come back, but i would not stay in a parked RV again nor recommend one.

I had a miserable stay at Cape Charles Koa. I stayed in the Safari Tent. It was not sealed, which allowed insects and animals to enter easily. There was a stray cat that invaded my tent 3 times. I attempted to call the 24hr desk over 30 times and no one ever answered the phone. I did not rest for 3 night stay. I requested to speak to a manager and left a message, but have not received a response.

The RV was clean and when we had an issue with the electricity going out the maintenance folks were out fast and corrected the issue. The staff were friendly and helpful!

We rented an rv Monday-Saturday. The beds were the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever had the displeasure of trying to sleep on. The bunk beds had a 1” thick foam pad and the kids even said they were very hard to sleep on. We couldn’t get ahold of the front desk and had to make several trips to request towels. We couldn’t use any of the beach rentals. Restaurant was closed most times.

Everything was great except the Safari tent we stayed in. Box Spring mattress was broke on one of the beds.

Nice amenities, everything within walking distance, clean, for the most part, well-taken care of. Our cabin was one of only a few that had window A/C units, which was very noisy; the screen was ripped on our screen porch and let bugs in. When I raised concern of no WiFi in the cabin I was informed that "It doesn't reach out that far,"- which was frustrating because I had work to do.

Well it started with my camperNot being ready by check in. The counter guest were kind of rude. The restaurant opened very late in the day and offered almost nothing they were out of stock. The drinks for $15 apiece and you couldn’t rent any of the rafts or paddleboard’s. Kind of false advertising when you offer amenities and then don’t have them

Was sad to see jackspot not open on Thursday and no activities going on. Was never give. I formation about activities. Cottage was nice and beach was nice though.

We were looking for a quick getaway with our grandson and this was perfect. The pool near the beach area is well maintained and feels like a high end resort. I was impressed with the property maintenance and our deluxe cabin was tidy and clean. Even though staffing is minimum; post pandemic and precollege , they were accommodating and helpful. It was a crowded but pleasant stay. Would stay again.

The cabins were beautiful and great for a family of four. The beach was close as was the pool. At check-in, I had issues with pricing and then needed to get my rate fixed after. I wish there were family daily activities like other KOAs such as a tie dye, art activity or beer tasting. When asking about local fire wood no one seemed to know anything. Very clean, but the beach could be cleaner.

Love the Safari Tent idea. Cooled down at night but was HOT during the day. There is 1 fan. The beds and linens were clean. I would do again in fall.

We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin. There were 5 adults, one room with a queen bed, the other room with a double with a bunk above and a pull out couch. Flat screen TV's with Roku. Small 4 chair table, refrigerator (full size), sink, microwave and stove (which took about 45 minutes to reach 450*). Screened patio with 6 chairs and patio table. Spent our time at the beach and at JackSpot.

Had trouble getting towels & trash bags. Should not have been an issue in a rental. Some type of safety bar should be in the tubs/shower of the delux cabins. The campground is very nice with plenty of areas to walk pets. The hotel pool was quite pleasant & evening staff were very friendly.

The bathrooms near the pool were disgusting. Called about having trouble finding where I could charge the golf cart and no one returned my call after leaving a message.

bathrooms were clean, we rented an RV : cleaned about 70%, bed mattress was about 1inch thick. We reserved 2 nights ,but left after one night stay. We could not sleep with the AC unit noise and hard bed. We also rented a golf cart for 2 days @ $60/day. They did not offer any refund.

Room was dirty, very muddy around cabin, nothing for kids to do, housekeeping staff not great...property is a parking lot--no trees, just trailers everywhere. Beach & pool area was nice...front desk staff very nice.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay, however there were several things we were disappointed in. First the awning on our rented RV was broken so we were unable to use it. Several of the lights in the RV didn't work although 2 people came to fix them. Finally amenities listed on the website such as kayak rentals were not available.

We rented a camper. It wasn’t the cleanest and had some damage when we arrived. One of the blinds were destroyed and we had to cover the window with a towel at night. The beds were not very comfortable. We had a had time getting someone to pick up our dirty linen and deliver clean linen. Other than that we had a great time! The pool and beach were awesome and we loved riding the golf cart !

Stayed in a deluxe cabin, would have liked a little more outdoor space for parking and grilling. Our neighbors were not overly loud , but the close proximity allowed too much familiarity.

We checked in a little after 4pm. When we arrived at the cabin it had not been cleaned. There were dirty towels on the floor and dirty linen on the bed. No one had swept the floors (covered with sand). We had to wait until after 6pm to get into the cabin. We then had to make the bunk beds. The general condition of the cabin was poor. Other than the cabin we had a great time.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it had plenty of room. The camp is in a great location, has great amenities, friendly, campers and there is plenty to do at the site and in the area. The only minor issue is the front desk, but we assume the current labor shortage has a lot to do with that. Otherwise a great stay!

Upon arrival /checking into our cabin we found it to be terribly dirty! I actually cleaned the entire place and went up to the front office to have someone come mop the floor. Even the little items were not completed, it was nasty! Bed covers had terrible stains, which after requesting it was changed.Really disappointed as it took hours to get this all settled, wasted vaca day and we are 5hrs away

Beautiful campground, with wonderful access to the beach. We saw pods of dolphin, pelicans, jellyfish, and beautiful sunsets. Very nice rv rentals. We had a blast, and will definitely be back for more R&R.

We love the koa and stay there often but housekeeping needs to do a better job. Our cabin was not clean at all. The toilet hadn’t even been cleaned. I hate to have to clean when we get there. The canons are expensive. They should be clean.

We had a great time while staying in the cabin. The cabin was clean and close to the bay, which was nice. We are disappointed that the pool surf board and sprinklers were not turned on during the week as we stayed Sunday (not on) till Saturday. We have a 1 year old and that would have been amazing for him.

Front desk would not answer phone prior to arrival but were great once in person. RV rental was mostly good but around sink in bathroom was dirty. Pool bathroom was VERY gross. Restaurant was yummy and great! Had a good stay. Not great but good.

Day 1 arrived, unpacked, was ready to hit the beach but realized our cabin door wouldn’t lock. There were no maintenance people refused to call a locksmith. Offered us an RV, but that’s not what we booked. Watched others check into other cabins. Had to wait for following day for maintenance. Blue mats covered our site and no others. . Day 2 no grill. It was an memorable experience, this was our first RV experience. The ocean, pool and the great outdoors doesn't get any better. It reminded me of the importance of simple living and getting back to basics.

WE WERE CLOSE TO THE FISH CLEANING STATION AND IT ABSOLUTELY SMELLED LIKE ROTTEN FISH THE WHOLE WEEK IT WAS AWFUL

We were checked in by a clerk who acted as if she was doing us a favor. We are usually escorted to the site, no escort, they said they were too busy. However they escorted other people. RV was minimally cleaned, also had many flies in it. Dog poop (I don't have a dog) at my site when we arrived. Campground has a terrible smell. Location on the beach was nice.

We had a wonderful time staying in one of the safari tents and enjoyed the beach, pool, and playgrounds. Overall, the campground is clean including the bathrooms! Our site could have been a little cleaner, there were food wrappers under the couch and small pieces of trash and a glass beer bottle outside the tent. The awful smell coming from the fish cleaning/bathroom area was the only bad part.

We just stayed in one of the cottages for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was there and the weather was perfect. There were activities celebrating "Christmas in July" that our grandson really enjoyed. Jackspot on site was terrific as well as the pools and beach access. Renting a golf cart was great for us to get around the campground. We will be back.

love this campground one of my favorite places to stay with my RV, however not the case when using their little cottages. Terribly maintained. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the pool bathrooms where disgusting. I don't have my rv anymore, so I will definitely not be back.

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
