Everything was ok with our stay. The pool needed help from being understaffed. Jackspot (maybe owned my someone else) needed to be open and staffed. I understand it is very hard to get employees currently. Not really a complaint just would have made it more enjoyable.

Disappointed that Jackspot wasn't open, no band for cheeseburger in paradise weekend. But we love that park and will be back.

We loved everything especially the private beach!! There was plenty to do and enjoy. The only thing I would love to see is a larger playground area like other KOAs with Cornhole, life size chess, horseshoes, bouncy pad, etc

We ONLY go here because of the dog beach. Been there 2x this summer. Our dog loves the water. Worst maintained KOA. Beach littered with garbage, bathrooms dirty, difficult to access beach with cart. Sites are small and not maintained as you would expect. The Jackspot restaurant is always slow to serve; food is average. Store is open 24/7 but has very limited selections. Very very rural location.

The campground was clean and had lots to do. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. We can't wait to go back.

This campground has a lot of positives (direct beach access, clean pool, nice facilities) but they are not very efficient (lack of people working or not friendly), ice cream is not available daily, but only on Thursday, and the sites are not level but on a grassy knoll with sewer drains uphill from the camper.

Disappointed, main pool not open on Monday due to being out of chemical. The Jackpot Restaurant totally unprepared, no take out orders available, when we went to have a meal on Wednesday was told only thing available were drinks.

We had plenty of room at our RV site. We enjoyed both pools and the beach. We went to relax and that's just what we did! All staff we interacted with were friendly and nice as well as other guests. Only thing that could improve was cleanliness of the bathroom at the pool. I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews and went in with an open mind.

Enjoyed our stay. RV sites were nice. Park was very clean in all respects. Trash pickup was great , swimming pool was great. Camp store was certainly adequate. Kids loved the games and Ice cream. We will come back. Thanks.

NO WAY this KOA is worth 175 and 225 per night and that's what we were just charged in August. We previously stayed in June for 105 dollars. I was told the seasonal sites were 5500 we were charged 1200 for 2 sites for 3 nights we also were told we could not lock sites so we had to pay 60 for a golf cart. Unacceptable Prices should be standard by season. Very unorganized need a property manager

Upon arrival our RV site was littered with trash. The beach/Bay Area were nice especially for small children and it was nice to take the dog. We did ask to extend our stay another night and we were told they couldn’t accommodate us since the RV site was booked. Front desk was not very helpful and rude.

Two observations: 1) Space between RVs at rear on back-in sites was tight. If buddy camping with a friend, might be nice, but that was not the case. Side yards were good. 2) Answer the phone occasionally. No excuse to get no answer or call back to a dozen calls. Otherwise, amenities were nice and Jackspot was a hit. Enjoyed the beach.

Nice campground but not a lot of shade. Sites are a good size. Loved the beaches especially the dog beach. Our lab loved it and playing with the other pups. Quiet campground with a very courteous staff.

Pros: Beach on site, dog friendly, smaller than many KOA's, Easy check in, offer for set up help, overall quiet, clean pool, restaurant on site (yet expensive) clean dog park, Cons: unmanaged golf cart regulation monitoring (underage drivers) filthy laundry room, minimal supplies in store with nothing closeby for essentials, no pads, no scheduled activities for kids

They NEVER answer the phone which is what you are asked to do if the restrooms need attention. The showers haven’t been cleaned in MONTHS!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! If I could attach pics I would.

Many of the sites are very small and muddy. Gravel is needed in all sites.We had a great site where we could sit out of the mud and room to play games! I would return if I knew what site I would be on. I have a handicap and difficult for me to walk a distance to the beach or for my husband to carry what I need a far distance. We were fortunate to have great access. Bathrooms were dirty and wet

Thank you for having staff to show us to our campsite and to help us back in. That was a great service. Every staff member that we encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant and food were fabulous. Our only complaint is that the sites are very tight and not a lot of room. If we came again, we would definitely pick a different site within the campground.

It rained a lot so our site was very muddy all the time. It would be nice if some of the more exposed muddy sites would be rock or even concrete . It was a very exhausting trip due to washing lots of towels and cleaning all the time due to sand and muddy. Site 633 is very exposed and muddy! Also did not like that people were trying to park in our site on the good sunny days. Signage please.

The staff at check-in was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The bath house, beach and grounds were very clean. We had an awesome time. Thank you!

The sites are too cramped. You are on top of your neighbor. If you are over 30ft long DO NOT COME HERE. The sites are impossible to get in and out of. The beach is nice. The pool deck was completely flooded after rain and took over 12 hours to drain. Also, make sure you don't hit an electric box. They're charge you $200 to have it fixed.

We had a great time and enjoyed the pool and bay. The walk down the hill to the bay was difficult for our kids and our site could have used maintenanced. The store had very limited items for children and did not have simple things like paper towels. Overall we had a great trip.

Staff very, very nice and professional. Sites are very close together. Dogs are off leash and running around in the park and on the beach, so we didn’t enjoy that at all. Screaming babies, barking dogs and yelling parents made for a short stay (of course this has nothing to do with the park or the staff itself).

We had a really good time. It was our first stay. The facilities were very well maintained. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The family and pet friendly environment was great. When the weather was sunny, the bay was well above expectations. Great location.

Very disappointing that we payed $50 a day for a cart rental at chincoteague KOA then told $60 a day at cape Charles. Men’s bathroom at the pool house reaked of urin. Friday we were relaxing by the pool then at noon the speakers turned on and all they were playing was a commercial every thirty seconds( no music) so we left.We have been there several times but this trip was very disappointing

nice location. We actually wanted to stay an extra day but could never get through to the front desk but each time we went to the front desk/store the clerk was on her phone and the phone was just ringing. The site needed to be mowed the grass around the picnic table was about a foot high when we checked in even though we didn’t arrive till well after check jn

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
