Website offered shuttle to local town, but when I asked after our 1st night the front desk dId they are offering that this year. Well then take it off your site! Not worth the $200.00 night and the deluxe site didn't have a grill. Ice cream sold in cooler was bad! UnfortunatelyWe didn't know till the next day! And it was way over priced.The Jacks is nothing more than frozen seafood deep fried.

I have gotten spoiled by other KOAs with wooded areas and trees. We missed having some shade. The campsites were a little tight. We visited the camp store and I was a bit disappointed in the lack of items on the shelves. On the good side the staff was friendly and the campground was clean.

I liked the front pool and the beach was great and I like the palm trees you put in. Friendly staff and all happy campers, everywhere here.. Thank u for a happy birthday. We will be back!

Great site, clean and pkebty if room. For my 24 foot motor home…. Food at jackspot would use and upgrade but drink were good

Stayed 7/21/21 through 7/26/2021 The Good: Well-kept property, attentive staff, quiet at night. NO ROWDY BEHAVIOR AT ALL :-) The not-so-good: CANNOT walk barefoot here at all... Grass has small, thorned seeds throughout that stick into your feet and hurt!!! Pulled out dozens from all our feet. Open sewage/septic treatment plant in back. DON'T stay to the rear of property! Campground nice, with private ocean beach… campsite was underwhelming with weeds on the patio and open trenches from recent utility work. Expensive site, but paying for beach access. Overall, I would return for a second visit.

Everything was great the beach the jackspot restaurant and the place in general. The camp store is missing out on a huge amount of profit because they need more clothing for everyone,cases of water,camper supplies,bait,tackle just tons of things I’ve seen in other stores. Also the ice cream store wasn’t open everyday and sites were tight but I still would stay again anyway.we loved it overall

UNDER AGED GOLF CART DRIVERS and the speed. Mowing sites while we were eating. You could use an extra checkout line if possible for people buying store stuff (ice, soda, etc) without using same line used for registration.

Love the area & the campground in general! just wish the playgrounds weren’t geared towards the tiny tiny tots & had swings at the poolside playground as well.

It was great. This was an amazing place to go camping, the beach was beautiful, the restaurant had really good food and it was probably one of the best camping trips that we have taken.

Great stay. The sites were flat. And hookups were located convenient to the trailer. For the most part it was quiet and other campers were respectful and friendly. The sites do can me with a fire ring which was not clear in the amenities list. The pool was very clean and very nice. Plenty of seating and canopies to use. The beach was great. Sand was cool and water warm.

Enjoyed our first trip to this KOA last weekend. All was as expected and we enjoyed our stay. Nice location and well maintained. Will consider visiting again in the future!

Afternoon... we stayed on site 307 and 308 on July 18-22. Our first time at your KOA. Park was beautiful as well as pool and beach. Restaurant had great food and drinks. My only complaint was the site, the grass was 7-10 in high in places and area around the hook-up spot was terrible to walk around with holes that were hidden with the tall grass. 5hrs between 11AM-4PM cut grass

It was our first time at Cape Charles. The staff, the maintenance and the visitors (our neighbors) were great. The sunsets are so beautiful �. We definitely want to visit again.

Awesome location. Only downfall was electric went out and back on several times. Also we had a family emergency and had to leave 1 day early and they would not refund the 1 day (even though I rebooted for next year) and also the golf cart rental. I feel that campgrounds as a whole are not very respectful to situations right now.

Check in was a nightmare. The campground itself was wonderful. How the campground is ran is very, very unorganized. The beach/ocean and pool were huge hits with our families. We had a wonderful trip. It would have been a lot less stressful if the check in process wasn’t a nightmare.

Very nice beach. Employees pleasant and hard working. Observed them cleaning pool daily but pool water still seemed dirty due to number of guests. Overall a nice place

We stayed for three nights during the week and enjoyed our stay. Towards the end of the week the campground got busy with many dogs and golf carts. The pool and beach were nice. We stayed at site 829 and it was nice because we had no neighbors behind us and we had shade most of the day. Would definitely recommend.

Garbage everywhere, one person is at the desk for all services. Plan on waiting for up to 35 min to buy a simple bag of ice. When we checked in we had a deluxe site the water did not work they told us the maintenance man was out till tomorrow sorry. I have stayed at many places this is by far the worse ran camp ground by far. It is a shame however because the beach was awesome and so was the pool

Had a wonderful stay with family and met some great new friends. The park has a very “safe” feel to it, meaning we felt fine with letting our kids roam and have fun with other kids they met. Facilities are very clean, and the restaurant food is delicious. The only constructive feedback I’d have is the lawn maintenance could be improved upon. Lots of overgrown grass and weeds on many camp

We loved the campground and the beach; unfortunately our site was the least level site that we’ve seen at a KOA. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it would have been nicer to have a more level site for such a steep price.

I love this place! The facilities are immaculate, people are friendly, and the employees are super helpful! It’s a beautiful place for a getaway, great for families. I’m definitely coming back!

Campground is beautiful.. grass needs to be mowed before we arrive. We were so crammed in that they could not really get into our sites and grass was up to our knees. I do wish more activities for the kids (you are a KOA) my kids love all the timed activities and there were none.

We had so much fun last weekend. Our spot was in a great location, we literally walked out of our trailer and 50 steps to beach. Dinner was wonderful at Jackspot!! Definitely recommend this to all my friends and we now become one of our vacations destinations every summer!!

All golf cart keys are the same. My moms golf cart was stolen twice during our stay. (Neither time were the keys left inside) the restaurant food was so bad we couldn’t stomach it and our bill was 295. Super expensive for food that tasted frozen and microwaved. Took the kids to the icecream shop to find out they are closed and under stocked. Very disappointed. This is our first and last time her

We had a wonderful time at this koa. We loved the pool, the restaurant, and the bay! Everyone was so nice I would have liked to stay longer. We will plan to come again soon.

It was our first time here, and was a windy November weekend. We rented a Deluxe pet-friendly cabin. I was honestly impressed by how clean and fresh smelling the cabin was. The rooms are small but very cozy and they come with linens, individual cooling/heating systems, and the master bedroom has its own TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean. It even had a hair dryer, towels and some toiletries in the bathroom. The view is amazing and we are looking forward to coming back next season.

Nice Campground, very clean facilities. We rented a cabin and it was lacking in some items. Sleep 6 but only had Linens and dishware for 4. Also didn't have a frying pan or a spatula so it was difficult to make some of the meals that we had planned. Otherwise the cabin was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a quick walk to the beach and although it wasn't I'll deal whether the kids still had a great time. A couple of playgrounds also were entertaining for the kids. I would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back. We will be more prepared this time with extra stuff.
