Music by some camper played and kept me up until midnight. Is there a quiet policy to stop this kind of thing? Also had smokers camped next door, maybe there should be smoking/nonsmoking areas.

Very friendly and helpful staff, but nothing to do there for grownups, no hiking, biking, fishing, nada, so better for small kids. Left a day early.

Definitely I would recommend this place to everybody. Even though the pool was closed we enjoyed our stay there. People was very friendly and helpful. Of coarse we’ll be there again. Thanks

The stay was fine. It was nice that there were still activities that could be done. It would have been nice if there could be a reservation system to use the pool like some other campgrounds are using but I understand that is probably out of your control. The grass at out site was ridiculously long... we used the camping mats to try and flatten it down.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Bathrooms very clean. Mowing could be better. Pool not being open was also disappointment. Loud music from neighbors late on Saturday also a nuisance

Stayed in the glamping tent, fabulous for perseid watching- it was a last minute trip and now we're hooked, SO nice to just drive up, set up our chairs and we're done

We stayed on a Friday thru Sunday- 2 grandparents and our 2 elementary-aged granddaughters. We had a blast! The campground was clean, well-kept, and had all we needed (we bought firewood and starters). Al and Sylvia were terrific keeping us informed for super fun activities. We participated in gem mining, tie dye t-shirts, the bean bag competition, ice cream social and mini golf. We had fun!!

Due to the covid it is hard to give an honest review on the whole campground. But I will say that management and the staff are top notch and went out of there way to accommodate my stay as a travel nurse and did the best they could to bring my awning in when I left for the day to go to a graduation party and a Strom came in. I hope to come back again wer I can use all of the facilities and a full

I was extremely impressed at the constant text messages I received when a tornado touched down very close to us. They made us feel safe and comfortable. Also, the friendliness of the staff was exceptional.

We fell in love with this Northwest Chicago KOA this summer as the park is quaint and charming, and the hosts are the best at making you feel welcome and appreciated.

Owners invested in this park. Friendly, helpful. Amazing staff is helpful and congenial. They are doing everything they can to make your stay pleasant during these uncertain times. Don’t come without masks! �

Pleased � to help Sylvia Weber to discern a fellow camper who frolicked boisterously well past quiet time. Anticipating this proximity conflict, Sylvia accommodated my move to a quieter facility-free campsite—233. Serendipitously, I later dodged a tortuous derecho storm that swept through my campsite only hours after I departed.

Wish I had known our rental didn’t provide a coffee pot. Last year we had a different rental unit and it did provide a coffee pot.

Stayed two separate nights as we were traveling from OH to SD. Good location for stopping point off I-90. Great communication by texting. Nice staff & clean grounds. First time we stopped it was after dark & the lack of proper lighting made it harder to find our campsite. Quality consistent w/what we've experienced at other KOAs.

When we arrived we found that a slide canopy had broken. One of the staff Al jumped right in and temporaryly fixed it for us to be able enjoy the weekend. All the staff was great to deal with in these diffucult times. Made it home safe. Thanks again Al and the staff at Chicago Northwest KOA

I understand the mask mandate, but to close the pool when chlorine kills the virus, playgrounds when kids rarely get it and bathrooms while the campers are allready packed in like sardines seems ridiculous. Nothing to do, and no discount. Disappointing stay!

We stayed at this KOA four different times over the course of 8 weeks as we needed to stay as close as possible to our kids who lived in a town nearby. While the staff was super friendly, this KOAs amenities were poor and not worthy of paying $60-70 per night. We even payed $60 one night w/no sewer and a 30 amp blowing the breaker constantly. Needs updating or drop the rate.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! Cute and well kept grounds. We booked last minute and ended up in a pull through RV site... They were very close together but we're also used to wooded quiet, secluded sites. Very nice place to pull in for the night!

Friendly, small campground. As always, too expensive for what you get because it is a KOA. Nice little trails to walk behind the dog park.

Clean, well organized, and just a great time the entire weekend. Especially thanks for the assistance in leading me to my campsite when I first arrived, there was no way I would have figured it out on my own since I arrived just after dusk. Thanks again for a great weekend!!
