There was good communication between staff and guest via text and email. This is the second stay for us this year and on my last survey I indicated that you need to mow your grass more often. That has not changed. Even though the grounds are clean the grass is very long and needs cutting.

Very friendly and attentive staff.The area is peaceful, a great place to get away. The deluxe cabin was super and the rustic cabin helped fit our needs. WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN!!

Loved our stay at the Chicago Northwest KOA. It was beautiful! Serene, peaceful, yet friendly and welcoming. We felt very safe and could enjoy being in the outdoors without worrying about the virus. The staff is so friendly and fun! They brought our firewood right to our site. We never even had to enter the store or office. Everything was taken care of beautifully!

Such a peaceful place. Nice & quiet. Roomy spaces. Nice people. We appreciated all the Covid restrictions too- thank you for keeping safety a priority.

This is a nice, well-maintained park. Most facilities were closed due to COVID-19 but staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our brief stay.

Not everything open, no fault of campground. Dog park needs improvement and could be in better location. Staff was great. Everyone very friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

It was nice and quiet however I have stayed here before and noticed it is starting to look run down there are weeds by the bathrooms were there used to be nice flower beds also the bathrooms need a good cleaning

Was told a different price but when I got there was on a lot where had no sewer hook up was told to poop in a bag and they had a dumb area. They told me the second day that where I was was like 1000.00 for a month with no sewer watch was to high and when I leave I got like 40.00 back on my deposit but never got that. People who work there was really nice just way to high

We stayed in the pioneer tent. The staff is nice, but unfortunately the pictures do not match the actual tent. It was dirty, full of bugs. I thought it would be swept or vacuumed out before each stay. Step is broken leading to small deck to get into the tent which I tripped on numerous times. It is also directly in the path of the frisbee golf which leads to high traffic through your campsite.

We rented a trailer at the campground & really enjoyed it. Our only complaint is that the site was directly across from the dump site, however this did give us a larger site. The campground was well-kept, easy to find, and (outside of the COVID era) provided quite a few activities. We had fun playing mini golf. The staff used text to maintain social distancing & they were prompt in responding.

We loved the deluxe cabin. Kids had such a great time Playing in their bunks and the cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. I enjoyed seeing the sites meant for dogs too with the fence. I will rent one of those with our travel trailer next time!

Majority of the sites were pull through and allowed ample room between sites. We did not feel cramped as we have it other campgrounds. We had a special situation and made a reservation about a half hour before we arrived and the KOA was very accommodating to us. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We really liked the large grassy spaces and the dark starry nights. The mini golf was free and fun. We can't blame them for the closed pool in the middle of summer due to COVID-19 state guidelines. The staff was friendly, delivering supplies like ice, wood and S'Mores stuff. But the air conditioning wasn't strong enough in the lodging for the cabin size - maybe the cabins weren't insulated well.

Very enjoyable. Not really the type of "camping" we like to do, but it was served its purpose. Comments: The dog park is almost unusable given it's location so close to the thick trees and vegetation. The mosquitoes are so thick that you cannot stand there while your dog uses the area. Dust is an issue, but it seems like the staff sets a bad example by driving around too fast on golf carts.

The dog park was not maintained. All grass on the sites was too long making bugs unbearable. Area near dog park looks like a junk yard. Not appealing. Staff is very friendly.

I was charged twice (tent $58/night) what two other KOAs (Lena, IL and Grand Island, NE, both at about $25) charged me in June. I was told that on this "Deluxe" extra wide campsite that I could park only one vehicle. Shower facilities were closed nearest tent campers. Toilet facilities were closed nearest the RV campers. The campground was run in a miserly fashion.

The camp was clean. The tent site had everything we needed. The staff was nice and delivered ice and wood right to our site. Lots of fun things to do. My son loved the banana bikes. Going to be camping here a lot more often.

Great place! We had a beautiful spot under a tree with a view and a swing! Owners were very responsive and helpful, bringing us firewood, ice and quarters for the laundry. Short pleasant drive to a huge grocery store made everything so convenient. Safety measures in place for COVID meant social activities were closed for the kids but we were very happy just to be outside together enjoying nature.

Very nice Campground. Staff is very friendly. We will put in an area that had grass that really needed to be cut. We were there five days and still did not get the grass cut. A little disappointed that we did not have sewer hookup and restrooms and showers were closed. Pool was closed. And playground was closed. Other than that very beautiful area

Friendly, small campground. As always, too expensive for what you get because it is a KOA. Nice little trails to walk behind the dog park.

Clean, well organized, and just a great time the entire weekend. Especially thanks for the assistance in leading me to my campsite when I first arrived, there was no way I would have figured it out on my own since I arrived just after dusk. Thanks again for a great weekend!!
