Worst water we have ever encountered on a KOA park. The park was not full. Week of Sept 6. People were nice. Park was clean. Take drinking water. The park water killed my filter.

Very friendly helpful staff. This campground is in a beautiful park like setting with a large variety of activities. I had ordered some items from Amazon, and the staff delivered it . I would highly recommend this campground.

Construction required me to drive down streets which are limited to 9,000 & 18,000 pounds with an RV that’s 34,500 pounds. It was a very bad experience to stay in a corn field isolated from anything other than respite. The dog area was a filthy dusty mess that coated my puppies. The directions provided didn’t help much because I didn’t have a toll pass activated yet.

An amazing place to stay! Wonderful amenities and games, lovely staff. Stayed in a really large tent area, set back from the road. It was really great!

The CG was well organized, quiet with a helpful staff. They offered many events for kids and adults--a fun place.

We were way down the hill at the end of the park. Would rather have been up toward the top. Had to make an appointment to do laundry. Did not like a sec card for the gate was needed 24/7. Rarely was anyone in the office. The water was discolored a lite grey & had a terrible metallic taste & smell. Was fairly easy to get to Chicago.

Staff were friendly (via text). Bathrooms were very dirty and unsanitary. Campground was a typical KOA. Water smelled of iron. Smelled it all day after showering. Prob won’t stay again.

The Staff at this Kamp are great! Everyone is happy, helpful and pleasant. We highly recommend a Prairie site where your camper parks parallel to a large, open grass field. It’s better than opening your door to the side of your neighbor’s rig.

The office is closed because of COVID but we were met at the gate and escorted to our site. Site was level and well maintained. Didn't use any of the facilities. What staff we did interact with was very friendly and helpfull.

PRO- Campground itself was very clean and great for kids. The staff who were staying at tent site #19 were absolutely phenomenal & accommodating. Her farm fresh eggs were awesome!!! Owners were super nice. CON-tent sites with electric were way too close together. There were entirely too many partiers on tent side. Alcohol galore, too loud of music and up too late. We were able to move sites

We stayed in the primitive tent site and it worked out perfectly for us. We had a new puppy with us and he had a blast. This was my second time staying at this KOA and came back specifically because of the employees. They treated us great. We will be back.

The staff that we met were amazing. However, the showers were locked when we finally arrived. When we made the office aware of this, they seemed to not believe it. Rebecca and Bob and one other gentleman who I can't remember his name, were tremendous. After driving over 1000 miles, they were great. We have been to other KOA sites that have been better in many ways. Except for the staff.

immaculate bathrooms and grounds. Shade trees are super 40 minutes from Schaumburg, close to rural attractions.......very nice size of yards are quite skimpy in places Signage into the campground in light of road construction was poor and difficult to see.

Beautiful and fun place to stay, the cabins were quaint but also large enough to easily fit two people. The only compliment, my boyfriend and I had was that the lawn maintenance we're making loud noises by us for like 3 hours by us, even while we were cooking dinner. I just wish that they would have picked an earlier time.

Staffs are very friendly and supportive. Two things we were annoyed. One was tuners were a lot of bees at site. My wife was stung by a bee. Another thing was that the quiet time policy. There was no announcement and people had a party with music till midnight.

Checked in @ 7:30. Office closed and our registration was not there. Luckily, Found someone in their store to help. They did admit it was their fault, but tired after long day of travel.

Decent campground. Spaced out nicely. Rented a tent space..And couldve been put somewhere more flat.. Bathrooms smelled like cat urine.. Overall not bad.

The good. Although check-in procedures were a little different due to Covid, we were escorted to our site and found it easy to park. The sites were nice and the grounds were beautiful. We did not need anything from the store, though delivery was offered. We did text to try to make an appointment for the laundry and received no reply. The bathrooms and shower were filthy, which is rare for a KOA

Beware: Reserve 50amp FH and you get 30amp FH. 50amp plug w/30amp breaker, NO 50 breaker. We realized once we started tripping with 2 AC running and checked the electric box. Pricey $$. Not close to Chicago. Store closed/must make an appt to do laundry. You have to text owner to communicate. Felt unwelcomed. It’s managed w/fear. We were deceived with a 30amp FH when we reserved 50amp!

Site was not level, out 2” side to side and 10” front to back. Site was located next to the septic tank and the sewer gas was not pleasant. Thankfully, it was hot enough that we needed A/C and kept the windows closed. Our neighbors were also out-of-staters and it appears the good sites are saved for the locals. We made reservations 4 months in advance and should have fared better.

Had a great time as always. Got checked in and shown to our site in a quick friendly manner. We have three slides and our guide told us we were all good after we parked. We told him we were concerned about clearing the water and electric hook ups, as we have three slides and he asked how far out they came. With that info given, he left and we moved. Would have hit your equipment if we didn't.

The RV that we rented on the grounds of KOA was nice and roomy. We hope this will be a feature at all the KOAs not just at Union, IL

We loved all the shade over the tent sites -- it made a 100 degree day much more comfortable. The proximity of our site to the playground made it easy to keep an eye on our son while relaxing at our site.

We enjoyed our stay and got to meet new ppl. The staff we met, Becky( trash bags) and Bob( for the fan)were very helpful. The only complaint that I do have, was with the cabin K42 t was not swept out well, there were a lot of cobwebs in corners and on ceiling. The air conditioner was overworked because the back window frame is so rotten the window wouldn't close tight. TOO HOT TO SLEEP WELL!!!

We had a nice time. Pros: -Plenty of activities for kids -Nice individual showers -Good communication via text message (arrival instructions, storm warnings) Cons: -Rowdy crowd at the pool not respecting personal space (not really the KOA's fault) -Bathroom could use more attention

The location was a bit hard to get to with the construction ongoing near there, but we made it through and we are glad we did. Beautiful spot with lots of trees providing shade. Can't say enough about the staff. They were very helpful and just nice people We were only there for a week and we will be back.

We were disappointed in that the site we chose & paid extra to guarantee was next to a cabin/trailer/building being installed when it was on the website map as another RV site. The installer of this building was very nice and apologetic about any noise he created. The white sewer pipe for this building was right out our door. We would have guaranteed another site if this had been noted.

Friendly, small campground. As always, too expensive for what you get because it is a KOA. Nice little trails to walk behind the dog park.

Clean, well organized, and just a great time the entire weekend. Especially thanks for the assistance in leading me to my campsite when I first arrived, there was no way I would have figured it out on my own since I arrived just after dusk. Thanks again for a great weekend!!
