This was our second time at the union location, and I can say we didn’t feel welcomed at all. The staff was rude and unpleasant we was watched The Whole time because a staff member was living/camping at the time and we told to turn music down even when we was playing it. We occupied 2 deluxe cabins 2 RVs and 3 cabins so we was coming to enjoy our trip not to be watched and profiled

This KOA has excellent customer service! The pool is a great attraction. The facilities themselves are a bit rundown. The entrance meets a building with weathered boarded-up windows. There doesn't seem to be weed maintenance. The dog park is behind a large rubbish area. The jump pad didn't hold enough air for the children to jump. It seems to be a fine place for one-nighters, not weekend trips.

The staff at this campground were very courteous and friendly. The campground was clean and the sites were very level with adequate space between them. The amenities available would be great for families and a multiple night stay.

Loved the bikes, pool, gaga ball, mini golf, swing at the campsite. It was very noisy until 2a though. And parents did not watch their kids on the playground and in the field. Things got a little rough. Not sure how that would be monitored. It was a little out of hand though.

The reservation was easy. The campground was clean. Had activities for children even though we didn't have any camping with us this time. However the campground was kinda pricey $52 for a tentsite with nothing no water or electric for 1 night. The only way to communicate with staff is through text which we found odd. It made to hard to get answers clearly and quickly expecially at check out

Was hard to get to due to construction. Site was really unlevel. Sites are pretty close together and the water had a weird metallic taste/smell. We used it for a stop over as we headed East. Not bad for one night. Still won’t let people in the store which was a bit of a bummer and you need an “appointment” to use the laundry.

We enjoyed renting the trailer, which was clean & comfortable. We played a challenging round of miniature golf. It would be more fun if it was better maintained. We also took a refreshing dip in the pool. A table w/ an umbrella would be a nice addition to the pool deck. Bathrooms were clean. Delivery of firewood was quick. Overall the stay was great & we plan to be back again next year.

We arrived after hours, everything was ready and easy to understand in getting to our site. The campground was quiet in the evening, away from the highway so no highway nose, very nice for sleeping. Clean facilities.

We really liked the place. Friendly staff. Clean campgrounds. Nice (unheated) pool. Great WiFi. It is a bit of a haul, either by train or auto, to get into Chicago if that is part of your plan, but we chose Chicago NW KoA as it was a KoA and there did not seem to be that many acceptable campgrounds in the area. We were happy with this choice and have already recommended it to friends.

No lake, all advertised activities ended up only being on the weekend, the bounce inflatable for the kids was really worn and hardly usable. The price was high for the lack of space and amenities. The playground area was overall nice for the kids.The rentable bikes were thrown on each other. The employees were nice and the pool was nice to swim in. Again, NO LAKE

Great. Just wish camper storage area was somehow more hidden so we didnt have to look at it! It took away from the pretty meadow view.

The Kampground was perfect for me! It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the other folk there were nice. It was my first stay at KOA and completely sold me on using KOA first for my upcoming year long RV traveling.

We rented a camper that was filthy when we arrived. The holding tank was leaking and full and I had to ask someone to take care of it the first night. The second night the water backed up into the tub at 9pm and the office was closed so we couldn't reach anyone. We left around 10pm and were contacted the next morning and given one night reimbursement. Very disappointing for a KOA.

Staff and owner were so great -- very helpful and prompt with requests. We've been going on an annual trip to a different camp for more than a decade but decided to try something new (the other place is less than accommodating and a little run down). We particularly loved the double tent sites and rented two double sites for our group of nine; we had five tents and a screen tent. It was perfect!

Very clean campground, staff is always riding around seeing if campers need anything. Only small complaint was when taking evening showers the shower stall floors were filthy of dirt and sand. Maybe put a place were they can wash the sand and dirt off thier feet like the beaches? Just a suggestion to reduce the dirt and sand on the shower stall floors.

We were just looking for somewhere not too far from home to camp for a long weekend. This campground has very nice facilities. We enjoyed the pool and the fun activities they have on Friday and Saturday. The staff was very responsive with any questions or when we needed anything.

It was pretty good other than the grill not having a grate and the only way to get one was to pay 21 dollars. The pool was awesome and so was everything else. Great friendly staff!

The sites are pretty close together. The roads are gravel and full of pot holes. They hadn’t mowed in a long time. The store was closed but they would deliver stuff to your site. The camp store didn’t have AA batteries which I thought was weird not to have batteries at a camp store. All of the amenities like playground and pool are pretty far from the rv sites. Jumping pillow was deflated.

It was just me and my husband for 2 weeks here in the tent area (we use our tent as our office and sleep in our van) and it was SO nice! We basically had the place to ourselves during the week which was beautiful. The hosts were beyond amazing and the staff were all so friendly. The KOA itself is gorgeous and the Wifi never gave us issues! Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed the amenities at the campground very well. The kids loved the playground, pool, and walking around on the paths to explore. The bounce pad needs to be replaced as it didn't hold air and was basically so worn, it was flaking off on my kids' clothes like glitter.

The sewer pipe was elevated above ground level and was higher than mr trailer drain. I have encountered this issue before. You just can’t make waste water run uphill.

The stay was perfect for our overnight. It is clean, staff is friendly and the facility is just right for our need. In our opinion, perfect stop and go location, with the ability to enjoy the site if staying a bit longer.

Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean. They accept pets and have a dog park so pets can roam in a controlled area. The cabins had some holes in the screens, thankfully there wasn’t too many bugs around. There is lots for families to do. We will be back.

Sites are very close together but like the pull thru & that they are level. The miini golf area could use some repairs but the kids are young now & don't mind. Like the pool which isn't crowded during the week. Things are clean & well maintained.

Friendly, small campground. As always, too expensive for what you get because it is a KOA. Nice little trails to walk behind the dog park.

Clean, well organized, and just a great time the entire weekend. Especially thanks for the assistance in leading me to my campsite when I first arrived, there was no way I would have figured it out on my own since I arrived just after dusk. Thanks again for a great weekend!!
