We enjoyed our deluxe cabin accommodations. The patio with swing and built in fire pit were very nice. There was a selection of activities, although some needed updated like the bounce pad. The pool would greatly benefit from a heater. We appreciated the owners being mindful of Covid precautions.

We just stayed one night as we were passing through. It was a little difficult to get to because of road construction but the host sent detailed instructions in a text. Campground was clean and quiet and someone met us at the gate to direct us. We would stay again if in the area!

The staff was friendly and the campground was very well kept. Our site was level and long enough that we didn't have to drop the trailer. The showers were super!!! Clean, roomy and private. We would definitely stay again when traveling through.

We had a great stay. The campground is very clean. The bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a cabin with our dog. Really like the koa cabins, but thought they were very close together. We were right by the walkway and not very private. We had a good time this weekend.

Thank you for your hospitality. We did enjoy our stay. This was our first time renting an RV on site. We were concerned that our rental RV was not cleaned before we checked in for the week. The beds and floors were accumulated with dirt. For future it may be beneficial to guests if an instruction sheet was available to work the hot water heater, appliances, awning, etc.

roads were very dusty covering cars and trailers when others drove by. Restrooms were marginally clean. Electric outlets over sinks were NOT GFI.....electrocution a short away. WiFi was mostly OFF and when ON only for a few minutes

Great KOA to stay at. Everyone was super friendly. We had an issue with our Pop Up and they brought us a ladder to help fix it. Would highly recommend.

It's an ok KOA, nothing special. Sites are gravel and typical, pool needs new chairs. Putt-putt needs repaired/replaced greens.

We had a great time at the campground. How awesome it was to find a campground that allowed pets in the cabin. Our granddaughter loved the pool,playground and the rock mining, also the cotton candy ice cream. We will be going back in the future.

I don't understand why the store was closed. That's really my only complaint. That and when we booked the cabin, the air or fan was not on at all, so it took FOREVER to cool down in there!

It was hot and unsafe to be in the pioneer tent. We were in the pool, the car with AC, and the grocery store to try and keep cool. I got heat sick and we left a full day early. The site advertised Onesti's Wild West as an area attraction when in fact it has been closed for over a year, the jump pillow is broken, and there were no organized kids activities as advertised. Very disappointing.

Stayed there over a weekend for the first camping trip with my 3.5 year old. He had a blast. Play ground, pool, rosting marshmallows and just running around freely. We'll be back for sure.

We just had a quick stopover to sleep on our way from Oklahoma to Wisconsin for a medical visit, and this was our first KOA experience. We were appreciative of the courteous service we were offered as our late arrival was probably not super convenient. Bathrooms and showers were very well kept and they sprayed for mosquitoes..and it was sweet that they had a flashlight candy hunt after dark.

construction made it hard to find This is the only KOA ive been to that does not have curbside garbage pickup you sure have enough staff on golf carts to do it

The staff was great, the park nit so great. We reserved full hookup to show up to an entire row without sewer. The dump station is there but lacks flushing hose. Disappointed a bit because we were hoping for better given the long reservation. Ended having to stay at walmart instead, no place else in chicago not already booked. Some investment in maintenance would make this place much better

As happens, our RV required extensive repairs that necessitated our planned seven day stay to extend to 40 days, two cabins, and four RV sites. The owner, Sylvia, and her team were extraordinarily wonderful in helping us navigate the various moves. The campground is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and the staff were always happy, friendly, and addressed problems promptly. Highly recommend.

Really wonderful staff! I have always appreciated State parks and have avoided private camping due to cost. And honestly, the prices at the State campgrounds have gone up so much that the price difference is much smaller. As our family has grown we now see it worth the extra cost for the help the staff provides and the amenities. Truly a park that all demographics can enjoy!

Receptionist was snarky; ponytailed guy in golf cart was rude; pool was dirty; place felt unkept. Koosies by register were cute; when I asked price, no answer! People were just rude.

Very friendly staff. Communicated mostly through text and very responsive to us as customers. Easy check in and check out. Very clean. Can't wait to come back.

Would NOT come back nor suggest to anyone. The pool was full of bugs. The bouncy was broken, the mini golf was terribly outdated paint chipping everywhere weeds, Could not get into store had to text, kids told to stay off the gravel road when on their bikes, showers were dirty and buggy paint coming off VERY DISAPPOINTED. The only thing was staff was nice when approached. No garbage pick up

Wonderful stay. First time there. From the guy cutting the grass to the young people delivering ice and firewood, everyone was great! One glitch seems to be our billing for our stay. Someone made it for our group we were in, and we changed into our name, and still ended up on original reservations makers bill. Haven’t sorted that out yet. We will be back for sure!

Property is lacking maintenance. Weeds in flower beds, grass is more weeds than grass. Bushes along driveway, front entrance, maintenance building, office building are overgrown. Our camp site needed to be mowed. Staff was friendly, weekend activities were great. Check in process was easy. Premium sites are large (we stayed in one). Regular sites will be cramped. Expect dusty roads.

Friendly, small campground. As always, too expensive for what you get because it is a KOA. Nice little trails to walk behind the dog park.

Clean, well organized, and just a great time the entire weekend. Especially thanks for the assistance in leading me to my campsite when I first arrived, there was no way I would have figured it out on my own since I arrived just after dusk. Thanks again for a great weekend!!
