Site was not level, out 2” side to side and 10” front to back. Site was located next to the septic tank and the sewer gas was not pleasant. Thankfully, it was hot enough that we needed A/C and kept the windows closed. Our neighbors were also out-of-staters and it appears the good sites are saved for the locals. We made reservations 4 months in advance and should have fared better.

Had a great time as always. Got checked in and shown to our site in a quick friendly manner. We have three slides and our guide told us we were all good after we parked. We told him we were concerned about clearing the water and electric hook ups, as we have three slides and he asked how far out they came. With that info given, he left and we moved. Would have hit your equipment if we didn't.

We had a nice time. Pros: -Plenty of activities for kids -Nice individual showers -Good communication via text message (arrival instructions, storm warnings) Cons: -Rowdy crowd at the pool not respecting personal space (not really the KOA's fault) -Bathroom could use more attention

The location was a bit hard to get to with the construction ongoing near there, but we made it through and we are glad we did. Beautiful spot with lots of trees providing shade. Can't say enough about the staff. They were very helpful and just nice people We were only there for a week and we will be back.

We were disappointed in that the site we chose & paid extra to guarantee was next to a cabin/trailer/building being installed when it was on the website map as another RV site. The installer of this building was very nice and apologetic about any noise he created. The white sewer pipe for this building was right out our door. We would have guaranteed another site if this had been noted.

Friendly hosts! Bugs were pretty extreme in certain areas, but the campground is clean, and sites are level. The premium patio site with dog fence was disappointing to say the least. The area inside the pet fence was not weeded or mowed, was at least 4 inches high!

We had problems with the power, it was suppose to be 50amp but wasnt working well, then tried the 30 amp, it wasnt much better. It was very hot and humid when we were there, just couldnt cool the motorhome down, so used our generator so that we could run two ACs to cool it down then, went to the 30 amp power. Also grounds needs some TLC.

Nice site, clean campground. But with the sites with a dog pen, it is critical the staff monitor them to prevent pet owners from just putting their dogs there and let them bark for hours. I reported the problem but it just continued. And started again the next morning at 06:30.

Had a site with pet corral. Pet waste wasn't picked up by previous guest. Lawn guy blew grass all over our shoes and belongings on the patio area. Office/store wasn't staffed during our stay. Asked an employee at check in and again when purchasing items to get a new Kamp card and was told she didn't normally work in the store and couldn't do that. Not a bad place but wasnt great either.

Clean, well maintained park. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only concern was the narrow entrance to the park. No way two rv's of any kind could pass each other. Two cars would have trouble. I think they should widen the entrance, or make a dedicated exit further north, they have the room. Pool was nice.

The staff was amazing & the owners were very friendly! Everyone was very attentive, however the water was subpar. I am unsure about the filtration system the campground utilized but it turned out porcelain toiled brown on a two day trip. If that could be corrected with a water softener/chlorination I would rate this park a 10!

nice park, nice people, but.... sites not very level.. nasty city water.. (rusty brown marks appeared on my hose).. nasty tasting water.. not sure I'd go back here.. $75 per night for not so level and rusty water is not for me...

Nice drive through spot. Clean, no frills campground. The key card to enter the park, safety option is nice. It was good for us for an overnight stay, that is why I’m giving 4 stars. Also, the girl that helped us find our spot was super helpful and kind. The park not very pretty, with the lot of vacant campers and also a creepy van camper lwhich appeared to have knowine staying at the time.

Clean, grounds are pretty and the staff was sweet AND decent WiFi! One of the better KOAs we’ve stayed at and we have stayed in a lot.

Great KOA! This was our second stay here. Very helpful and friendly staff. Our site had some old drainage issues that created ruts in the grass that could not be seen and I fell. I informed the staff about the problem. They rented the site again the following day after we had to move to another site for the last night, that was a little disappointing since the campground was near empty.

The Koa was a great place to stay. It was very quiet and the staff was excellent. If you need something all you had to do was call/text them and they would bring anything to you. They are very pet friendly and they even have a fenced in dog park The only I would add would be if they could add more lighting around the camp ground especially the back row

The grounds were well kept and the staff was very helpful, however, the facilities were rundown especially the mini golf course. It was advertised as having a disc golf course, but the cages were in the back of a truck. We will not be visiting this KOA again.

Clean bathrooms. A lot of things to do for the kids. Putt - putt area needs to be cleaned up a little more but had a lot of fun. Thanks for a fun filled weekend.

Great place to stay in the Chicago area. The sites are long pull through full hook up sites or back in water/electric if you prefer. We have had great service and the staff is wonderful! There is a nice pool and activities for the kids. We have stayed many times and we will stay again when we are in the area!

Nana and two grandies (8 and 10) had a most enjoyable 3 days there--loved having so many fun things for the kids to do--and in such a pretty and well-kept environment. Friendly, helpful staff as well!

Some work is in order to the electrical system….my site was only getting 104 volts on one leg which caused my electrical surge protector to kick off to protect my RV. The owner moved me to another site with better electrical voltage.

Friendly, small campground. As always, too expensive for what you get because it is a KOA. Nice little trails to walk behind the dog park.

Clean, well organized, and just a great time the entire weekend. Especially thanks for the assistance in leading me to my campsite when I first arrived, there was no way I would have figured it out on my own since I arrived just after dusk. Thanks again for a great weekend!!
