Though sites seem closer together, they are clean and very sufficient. Because RVs are closer together, if your neighbor is up early and having breakfast outside, trying to sleep longer (even to 7:30 a.m.) may be difficult. The campground is great for families with kids and/or pets.

Amenities were plentiful (they even have tetherball!), their staff was friendly, and the sites were clean! The only thing is that if you rent a spot with a dog kennel, make sure your dog isn’t clever with escapes. Ours opened the door in under three minutes which meant we still had to have him on a leash, but I couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience!

No laundry no access to store place was very hard to get into because of road work when it rains there it floods the roads in the park because of the limestone they put on the roads.They need to put rock down so you can at least drive in and out.

The park is excellent and the staff better. I use this park any time I am in the chicago area and they have never failed me

We had a nice end patio site with pavers, fire pit & swing with view of the adjoining trees, bushes & cornfield. Daytime we had shade & at night we sat on our patio & watched the fireflies, a wonderful memory from my childhood. Very quiet campground, well maintained. We had a non-contact check-in (their protocol) & someone met us @ the gate to take us to our site. Enjoyed our stay.

You staff is very accommodating..enjoyed our stay very much. Couple drawbacks I see.. your entrance & the dog park. If you happen to cross paths with a rig coming the other direction… you’re in trouble! No room for 2 vehicles to clear. With so many guests having dogs.. and only a couple options for the dog sites.. these pups need a place to run. Dog park infested with mosquitoes &muddy.

Stayed for 4 nights. Good water pressure, reliable electric, pull throughs were easy entry/departure. Convenient "needs" drop off service, just text in what you need, a KOA rep would bring to your site and charge your CC. Only con would be miniature golf could use some tender loving care and grass trimming needed some attention. Will stay again when in area.

Campsite was great. Our only complaint was a few things needed some attention in the campground. We rented the bikes and most of them had flat tires. We had to trade our bikes a couple times to find one that had tires inflated enough to be able to pedal. The jumping pad looked inflated, but didn’t hold enough air for any kids to actually use. Bath houses were clean enough. No other issues.

Staff was fantastic site were good just need them more level hard to park in some sites. Fun place again the STAFF was WONDERFUL. Super clean campground and super quiet as well.

The sites were nice, appreciated the separate vehicle parking since we had a back in site. The swimming pool was so cold that it limited the length of time my grandkids were able to swim. The most I could do was sit on the edge with my feet in. The jump pillow was dangerous, turned on but lack of air caused one to actually feel the ground when they jumped. Mini golf course in disrepair.

It was okay, but run down. Mini golf terrible, no paddles for the ping pong, bouncie pad not bouncing because there isn't enough air flowing - staff knew but didn't fix it. Enjoyed our actual site very much as well as the open green areas to play catch with the kids, etc.

The only problem we had was finding our way to the campground because of the detour. No other issues. We only stayed one night each time.

What an awesome KOA! Even though the store was closed the communication was excellent. Delivery to your site from firewood to ice cream. I had the laundry room to myself and they even delivered quarters. We traveled from here to Chicago and the commute on the train was easy. Great KOA!

The grounds were nice. The staff was communicative and sooo friendly and nice. The texting service was soo useful and helpful. We were able to get supplies after hours which was wonderful. Our site was nice. However the set of bathrooms closest to us was not clean. Luckily we were only there one night and it wasn’t a big issue.

The campground, owners & staff are great; it's just the other campers that impacted things..... It's to be expected w/ a full park but common courtesy seems to be on vacay as well. Dogs barking as kids rode their bikes and owners making no effort to curtail the noise not to mention the trend to forget to carry bags to clean up behind their pets.

We had a wonderful stay! We came with our kids, 5 and 2, and they thoroughly enjoyed the playground, mini golf, pool, and camp fire/s’mores! The facilities were clean and we had wonderful neighbors. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We definitely plan to stay again in the future!

Premium site 60 was very dusty with cars going by. Sewers were right next to picnic tables very unappetizing. Near dumpster that has a lot of flies. Sites were too close to each other.

We had a premium patio site that was paved and had a nice fire ring and swing. The sites were close together and close to the entrance. Since the roads were gravel, we collected all the dust of everyone checking in. It also had a dog pen, which just took up usable space since we didn’t have pets. We were also right across from the dump station. These sites are not worth the premium price.

Sites are super close together and patios are within a foot of the neighbors sewer. Pet areas at sites not as advertised, only one or two seemed as big as the photo online. Water quality was very poor and smelled metallic. Our brand new toilet developed a rust like stain while we were there even with a filter connected before the RV.

Our last stop before heading home. Bathrooms were clean and staff was friendly. Only downside was they're still strict with Covid-era rules. Store was closed- maybe that's due to the State of Illinois?

Pretty country area with many pull thru parking spots. Very fancy with patios pits and flowers to small backin spots that are less expensive. Seemed well maintained.

Cute little campground, great location! The pool was immaculate and so refreshing, and my family enjoyed playing the mini golf. Sites were close together, but flat, the grounds were neat and clean and the staff was super friendly!

It is like parking in a junk yard! Trash can is overflowing on multiple days. We were welcomed by a 12 year old that took us to our site. We never saw an adult at the park, only kids driving around on their golf cart. They wouldn't allow us to use the water hose to remove the bugs off the front of our RV. We were surrounded by old campers, its messy, small pool, not a nice RV park.

Everything was clean and organized for our Fourth of July weekend stay! My family and friends loved the area and the firework shows that were recommended by the campsite. We also really enjoyed ice cream night and we will definitely be going again!

Friendly, small campground. As always, too expensive for what you get because it is a KOA. Nice little trails to walk behind the dog park.

Clean, well organized, and just a great time the entire weekend. Especially thanks for the assistance in leading me to my campsite when I first arrived, there was no way I would have figured it out on my own since I arrived just after dusk. Thanks again for a great weekend!!
