The staff was so warm and friendly when we checked in. They told us about hiking in the area and the barge schedule for the day. The bathrooms were pretty clean, the last day the men's bathroom was flooding.

We knew about the train noise, however it was not an issue, as the train was short and probably only came through twice a day. I definitely will return ... also the main restrooms and showers are top notch as is the “mini-grocery store”.

We enjoyed our stay. We like the cozy setting . Nice area, even enjoyed the trains as we’ve not heard them for along time.

At check in they offered to move us from a spot in the main campground, close to the playground for granddaughters to a “better” full hookup in upper secluded area of the property close 2 office, owner's trailer and trailer for workers. At 9:00 am worker dumps into the sewer tank right outside of our trailer, within minutes truck shows up to clean out the dump tank. Disgusting-Need I say more?

Very nice tent sight, flat, nice picnic table and fire ring. The facilities and showers are one of the best KOA in the country. The store had what we were looking for and other things I have forgotten over the 60 years of camping. Thanks for the great stay.

Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Our 1 and 4 year old enjoyed their stay, quiet at night, state park close by. Will return in the future.

Many site N/S. Shared pedestal one 30 amp one 50 per. Make sure you specify you amp. needs. Also would be good to have an extension. They extended the sewer sites this year so there are more of them. Many site sat accessible. OTA stations. It's close to the city so it is more expensive campground. Pool closed during Covid. Managers very nice and are trying to improve the park.

Most staff rude & didn’t seem to want to be bothered. Had cabin 2, both smoke detectors were inoperable. Also had cabin 3, porch light didn’t work. Said would fix next day but never returned to fix it. Campground is clean, nice showers & bathrooms. Rudeness of staff makes it unlikely we will return to this KOA.

I have never stayed at a KOA before. This specific KOA was lovely! I enjoyed my experience very much and would most definitely come back. The bathrooms are kept very clean and the overall campground was nice. We went tenting here and the area for camping was nice and wooded a more private feeling to it. :) Also, the staff here were always friendly and ready to answer any questions we had!

We enjoyed our stay, felt the campsite was private enough & the hosts were friendly & quick to offer assistance. The complimentary pump out for sites without sewer hookups was a nice amenity as was delivery of firewood. We would camp here again.

Great stay! Convenient to Duluth and several state parks. Staff was great! We will definitely stay at this park again.

Great campground. Very clean and well kept. Staff and other campers were very polite and helpful. Forgot a couple things and was able to pick them up in their store at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Duluth and surrounding areas!

The grounds and facilities were very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They delivered firewood right to our fire pit. And they picked up our bag of garbage when we were getting ready to checkout. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

We enjoyed our time! The staff was very helpful. The Campground was very clean .Our camp site was very nice. The showers were amazing, private rooms that were very clean. We will be back.

I would recommend this campground to anyone who appreciates very friendly staff, clean restrooms, and quiet surroundings (accept an occasional train). I would've rated a 5 but, it is a small campground and you are close to one another. Enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed at this KOA many times, love their cabins. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There Halloween weekend is the best, many activities for everyone! Definitely going back.
