Overall very good but either cable TV or stronger internet service would have been better. Good location. Easy access to Duluth and surrounding area.

Not sure if there are recently new owners or not, but the office is super clean, the staff is very friendly. We've always had a great experience here, but this time little details seemed much neater during our stay! Will come back again. :)

The site we were on was odd. Very short distance to water & sewer hookup, then 30 feet to electric plug in. The site next to us faced us so no privacy. But the worst was when the person mowing grass unplugged us, took up our rug and just tossed it aside without even knocking and asking us!! And train horns overnight. Not worth the $$$.

This is a nice family friendly campground with nice facilities. The store had everything we needed and the staff was friendly. It is a short drive to Duluth for a day trip. Garbage is picked up and wood is delivered right to your site and the sunshine was free. I will be making a return visit.

Wonderful location, right near plenty of activities in the area that we were able to enjoy. The campground was very well maintained and clean with tons of amenities. The staff was helpful and we loved the individual sites with more secluded woods.

Very friendly staff! The only reason for the lower star was the hot tub and pool was not working at the time of our stay :( We were looking forward to seating in the hot tub.

Very nice campgrounds, 'tight' spots, right on top of each other which was a wee bit disappointing and we couldn't use our awning with the tree in the way. Super friendly staff and great showers/store, etc...

Because of Covid there are rules for the pool. You must sign up to keep the numbers at 12. This is fine but there was a rule in place that you can only sign up for 1 slot on the weekend per day. Why? Never once did I see it at full capacity. If there is openings you should be able to use it. I did have a conversation with Barb at the front desk, and she did try to accommodate our request

We only stayed one night while traveling. The train whistle after midnight was startling and our particular site was 3’ from the camper in the next site tho others were more spacious. We got a big downpour and the next morning there was still standing water in many sites. People were friendly and it was clean!

Site was long enough for RV and car off dolly. Sewer hookup required three lengths. Roads were really muddy. Badly needs more gravel.

The pool rules sucked that could have been handled better than it was. We couldn't even get in the pool the whole weekend. Kids were very disappointed.

the grounds were pretty. but cramped. the 5th wheel across from us had string lights so bright they lit up out tent. quiet hours were not observed. we had an early morning bike ride planned. Hot tub heater broke. all in all less than what we hoped. The staff were really kind and helpful.

I chose to camp instead of hotel when dad was in the hospital. The Hosts were gracious, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. I loved the cabin and the vicinity which was close to Jay Cooke State Park and a lot of hiking trails.

Had a great time. Only issue was when I booked our stay I asked for #37 and was told we got it. On arrival we were told we got put at site #38. We were unhappy about that but made the best of it. The sites were similar but we still would've liked #37 more because more tree coverage and it is slightly bigger plus it's the site we always stay at on purpose, has sentimental meaning.

It was a nice enough home base for touring Duluth. They did have a glitch in the reservation system that they went out of their way to ensure was honored. There was a poorly placed bush in our site that made it necessary to do a lot of jockeying of our trailer so we could open our awning.

The space that we reserved online was taken and had to be moved to a different location. (KOA made it right). The campground is located right next to a train crossing. (Train whistles are LOUD). The most upsetting thing about this stay, was there was no campground host to get firewood from. Office closed at 8pm and there's no way to get firewood after that because the computers are shut down.

Everything was very nice. The bathrooms and showers were very nice -clean and in good repair. I went with a large group of people and it worked great for us.

We have stayed at this KOA many times, love their cabins. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There Halloween weekend is the best, many activities for everyone! Definitely going back.
