We were tent camping so we felt a little out of place amongst all the RV's, but we understand that is how north Minnesota is. 32.00 for a tent site with no hook ups seemed a little high.

Pleasant and quiet campground with friendly, courteous people in a great location. One thing that would be great is a small refrigerator in the camping cabins. We travel in a car, usually with more than 2 people and all our gear, and don't haul along a big cooler as we get groceries in the nearest town. So many of the KOA's we have stayed at have them, so was disappointed to find none here.

I loved the staff; friendly, helpful and efficient. I did not like the way we were so close to another group of people. The space was not comfortable.

The grounds were kept clean and all was nice and neat. Facilities were well maintained and clean. Everyone we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. One thing we didn't care for was that the door of our camper faced door of our neighbors camper. Great for friends camping together but a little awkward with strangers. Also, should be a separate water spigot at the dump station for tank rinse.

It was the most delightful place to stay and has a lot of charm! Robert was very helpful over the phone and the entire staff were warm and welcoming! I hope to stay there again soon!

The camp sites are only bearable if you have a hard sided camper and the place is not full. The sites are tiny and there is 0 privacy.

Sign at entry should be moved closer to road, can’t see it till your right on it. Speed limit is 7 7/8 mph but even employees speeding around in golf carts and EZ go’s

A lovely campground. We had a pull though lot, that had a lot of shade. The lots are long, but we were extremely close to our neighbor. They are also located very near a railroad track. So there is periodic noise from passing trains.

I love this KOA I believe I've stayed here about 6 years running. It is always clean and well kept. The staff is fantastic and always helpful. Great facility. Nice pool and hot tub. I have stayed both in tent and camping cabin and have been very happy with both. I look forward to my yearly visit.

A bit frustrating that plug in and water were on the "wrong" side, but we made due. Staff was very helpful in getting us setup. Everything (bathroom, shower, etc) was clean. Good experience.

Bathrooms and showers were spotless!!! We had one of the most private spots and although it was fairly full during our stay, it was never too noisy or overly crowded! Our site requires longer extensions for water and electricity than we had planned and they provided extension cords and a longer hose! Extremely helpful! Thank you for a great stay!!

The spot we were in had to face another camper which was very uncomfortable. Their fire pit was right next to ours. No privacy!!

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Our campsite was quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees. Restrooms were clean. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Very loud neighbors, kids driving 4 wheelers to empty garbages were reckless around kids on bikes. Pool was freezing.

I have absolutely no complaints about the people who work at this campgrounds. They were great, I.e. friendly and helpful. The reason why I would hesitate to recommend this particular KOA is the bathroom/ shower situation. Our site was away from the main area. We had a one bathroom cabin-like building for a number of campers. It was sometimes very difficult to access without standing in a line.

Check-in Check-out processes went well. Clean facility. Near railroad tracks. Pleasant greetings by staff. Covid signage re: masks and social distance, but employees without masks (Inside and out) left me wondering if they truly believed what they had posted. Stayed 4 nights, no swimming til last day due to maintenance. Not sufficient wi-fi, couldn’t connect. Would not return.

Our stay was good, but unfortunately the pool was closed for 2 days of our 3 day stay. Pool needs repairs badly. Clean facilities & very nice, helpful staff.

Showers and rest rooms where always clean and lots and f hot water. Laundry facilities where good. Clean and worked great. Game room was good. Staff was great about delivering firewood. We stayed here so we could commute to check out Duluth and the North Shore Drive. The accommodations were good and the staff was friendly and helpful. They offered the service of coming to dump our gray and black tanks with a days notice, that was nice since we didn't have full hookup. We will definitely come back!

The space was level and long enough to allow for the 40ft fifth wheel and parking for the truck. We did not use other amenities. It had been raining and there were large puddles since the road is even with the ground.

The only reason I didn't give this a 10 was because of the trains. 5 Stars for the staff and the camp itself. By far the most firewood (and kindling!!) for the price of any KOA we visited this vacation (6 of them).

Tent site without electricity, although map showed color coding that would indicate electricity but turned out okay. Nice and quiet at night.

Worst KOA Stay! When I made the reservation I thought I had reserved a 50amp with a patio-Pic showed end site . When We checked in we were placed in a middle site with the neighboring sites dump pump, electric and water in the middle of our site. We did not have a patio. We had lots of issues with our site and staff. It was also very frustrating having to sign up to swim and getting only one spot.

The general campground was nice but our tent site was mostly dirt and rocks. Nearly impossible to drive stakes in. The only grass was on the perimeter. Also the satellite bathroom was convenient but even though we were told it was checked every hour, each time we went in it was filthy and trash overflowing.

We have stayed at this KOA many times, love their cabins. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There Halloween weekend is the best, many activities for everyone! Definitely going back.
