Very convenient location for biking the trails nearby. Clean facilities, nice shower areas, nice camping sites. So close to lots of fun options with state parks and Duluth nearby! Bring your bikes for trails that navigate through beautiful scenery!

Not the fault of the campground, storms the likes of which we have never been in a campground! Covid, of course, was a factor as well. The campground itself was very nice and the office staff very cordial!

We had a wonderful stay. The KOA members were very helpful . The boys enjoyed the area, so we will probably return to this location.

We got the very last site,it was tiny with no shade,on the plus side we were right next to the bathroom,overall it was a good time

Prices were doubled with the smallest containers. 3lb bag of ice was $5.00. Any store sells 10 lbs of ice for les than $5.00.. Power surge blew my surge protector.

Liked the dog park area being away from the main camping area... the dogs could play and bark and not bother others. Watch the roof of the office when you depart, it sticks out into the road. They have a small flag on it, but be careful.

We were surprised not to have a sewage hookup at a full hookup site, however they provided honeypot services. That ended up being very simple, we didn’t even know they came they did everything themselves. Pleasant surprise.

When we arrived our air conditioning kept tripping the breaker and it was HOT. We contacted the office and they fixed it right away. Thank you so much for that!!! It is a beautiful park. We had a wonderful corner spot that allowed us to watch nature. They had protections in place for social distancing in the pool and that made for a very relaxing trip. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had a great stay at this KOA. The owners were great, the facilities were clean, we felt safe our entire visit. The only downfall I can mention is that our site was very very narrow. Would visit again, just would request a different site!

I loved everything about this place except my campsite. We stayed in 32 and it was a great spot, but our tent stakes all bent from the amount of rocks. We put our tent in 5 different spots and all of them were full of rocks and made it difficult for us and our tent was not properly up from it. Other then that I loved the staff and it was very clean and quiet!

Most KOA camper cabins have fridge and microwave oven and have AC unit. This one had none of the extra and yet they had a high rate per night.

Due to the whole Covid thing access to the pool was very limited. We weren't informed of this until after we got there. We had a time slot for a specific time and there were available spot so we asked for a few more and they forgot to book them for us

Staff friendly and helpful. Pull thru with and space was the smallest we have ever had. There were two sites in the same space as normally one would be.

All of the KOA employees we encountered were very nice. They really have the whole Covid-thing worked out. We really enjoyed having the limited number in the pool area. Everything is very clean and well kept. We can't wait for our next visit!

Campground is clean, well organized. The staff were friendly, helpful all weekend. It’s been a number of years since we had stopped through this camp ground but we will be back sooner then later.

Full campsite over the 4th weekend, but was still very enjoyable. Water/electric hookup was great. The wood I ordered at the front desk was at my site before I had even walked back to it. The staff was very friendly and worked hard to keep the campsite facilities clean. Close access to Jay Cooke State park and not too far of a drive for North Shore activities. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the Cloquet KOA. Our tent site was spacious and very nice. The bathroom/shower facilities were probably one of the nicest and cleanest of any camping facility our family has ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only compliant was the large number of "yippy" dogs that were there. Overall though, this is a fantastic place and we will visit again!

Sites are very packed together. Tent sites 32 33 34 are not secluded. We were at 32 squeezed between a huge RV and three tents on the other side. Hated our stay.

It was a family get together!The start of our stay was not a good start. But we got things squared away. The staff there was very helpful and friendly!! They are very hard working keeping everything clean. They delivered our firewood picked up our garbage.It was very quiet and relaxing at night. I will be back to stay again with my family. Thanks to all the staff for all the friendly service

We stayed from 7/1/2020-7/4/2020 and it was great. All employees we interacted with were very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, and the campsites had plenty of space between each other. One thing I noticed though, was that the toilet in the satellite bathroom was loose, so when you sit down it moves significantly. Would highly recommend staying here.

They run a clean operation. Everything I expect from a campground, with an added sense of security. They are near railroadtracks, so the train horn can be very loud at night, but there was only one train each night. The camp store seemed well stocked, but the location between Carlton, and Cloquet offers fast shopping. Easy to get to the interstate, and Jay Cooke State Park, and the North Shore.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. However, there were a couple rude staff members. During our stay, there was a 12-p limit on the number of people that could be in the pool area but no sign displaying that wristbands were needed. After counting heads, I went in. Staff assumed I knew the rule & even though we were under the limit, had rudely told me to get out. I was very embarrassed

We have stayed at this KOA many times, love their cabins. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There Halloween weekend is the best, many activities for everyone! Definitely going back.
