We expected climate controlled cabins to have A/C units, not just a fan. The first not was very muggy, the next day we left our windows open and it was better sleeping the following night. Lots of activities for the kids to do.

We were within the areas we wanted to explore. The camp seemed actually closer to Carlton, MN than Cloquet, MN but it was an easy drive to either town. We were able to explore the North Shore as well as St. Louis River valley with ease.

Nice campground only issue is the railroad crossing so close and trains blowing their horns all thru the night but otherwise the employees super nice and bathrooms very clean and great location near some good restaurants in small towns nearby! We have camped here numerous times!

We stayed in a camper cabin. Seems they have been updated since I was there last. No complaints for my stay at all. Only one concern. The light by the bathroom in the cabin area lights up a tenting spot so brightly that people have to park this car just right to block the light. It’s may be a bit too bright.

We have stayed at this location multiple times and will stay again. If you're looking for a campground with lots of activities for kids and things to do, this is not the place for you. But, if you are looking for a bit of tranquility close to lots of parks and trails this is it! Also, the bathrooms and showers here are some of the cleanest around!

Had a good time. Staff was kind, courteous & helpful. Bathrooms clean & grounds well kept. My only disappointment was the jaquize wasn't working! (Would have been real nice to sit and soak after a days worth of long hikes!!!)

I absolutely love staying here. I have been here many of times, and every time I stay the staff members are always friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, showers, and cabins are clean. I definitely would recommend coming to KOA cloquet because its family friendly, and always relaxing.

Clerks kind. Koa needs TLC. Pool not cleaned. Dirt drive COVERS cabins/guest in dust and dirt with every new check in and with several workers on golf cars. Should consider brine or some means of correcting. Water spigot not in good repair. Bathroom fixtures wanting repair. Soap dispenser in womans bathroom shot soap everywhere. Cabin was nice and clean. Picnic table really wanting paint.

We stayed 5 nights, it was the perfect location to be able to go out and see so many different things around the Duluth area. Cabins were clean, 2 room cabin had plenty of room. Staff were very friendly, the kids loved the lanterns and hay ride on Saturday. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip towards Duluth!

If and when I return, (pretty likely I will at some point) I definitely would request a cabin back in the pines towards the rear of the campground. I stayed in cabin #1 and as you are well aware and have probably heard many times there is very little space between cabins 1, 2 & 3. I'm a social guy but it's still kind of nice not to have your neighbors sitting practically right on top of you.

Not best: 1. We're older and were put in a cabin farthest from bathroom, driving car every time. 2. Overhead lights in front room of cabin too dim. 3. Big gap under front door, had to use a blanket there to keep bugs out. 4. Cabin way too close to RV site, had to keep curtains closed (could see into a trailer). Thought you had TV's in cabin (put on website). Was counting on WIFI, it didn't work.

We stayed in a basic cabin. The cabin was large in size and on a great site. The night we stayed was very cold. 5 out of 8 outlets did not work but they had a space heater in each room. Unfortunately, when we plugged in our coffee maker while the space heaters were on and all our power was lost and we couldn’t get any power back on. Bathrooms are probably the nicest I have seen at a KOA, pool is a little deep for my liking (8 ft deep), no AC in the cabins which would have been okay had it not been in the 90s (yes I know the campground can't control that!) Around the cabin could use some landscaping/weeding! Love that it's close to Duluth and so many activities otherwise!

We always enjoy our stay at the Cloquet KOA. The staff is friendly, the bathrooms are well kept, and the pool is a great bonus.

Owners were very nice and accommodating > I enjoyed my stay it was quiet and peaceful. I met campers from all over the our country and of course Mn. Minnesota Nice!!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept. The only thing keeping me from putting 5 stars on this review is the lodging we were in could use a little maintenance and there was no AC in the cabins. We would definitely stay here again.

I wish it has more bathrooms in the back of the wood. Because on popular holiday, the bathrooms were very busy. We can’t get a personal escort to our camp site like everyone else.

The cabin smelled terrible. There was no AC on an over 80 degree day. We only stayed here as a last resort as we could not find a motel with an opening after 2 hrs. of looking. The temps did cool down during the night and the cabin was more comfortable temperature wise. I was thankful for the showers the next morning. They were not especially clean, but not terrible either.

Check in was easy. The grounds were clean. Nice, clean bathrooms/showers. There is a nice playground on site. The staff was attentive to our needs and very friendly. The location of the campground is very close to gas/grocery store/food/bar/casino, Jay Cooke State Park and a short drive to Duluth. A couple of trains came by at night which came and went in under a minute. Definitely stay again!

Check-in and Checkout were very simple. The cabin we stayed in was cozy and had a porch swing, which was nice to sit and relax outside. The location of KOA is close enough to multiple activities to do, but far enough away to enjoy a bit of nature at the same time.

Our stay was restful, and quiet, with beautiful landscapes, and close to all the attractions of Duiuth and Lake Superior. I think we have stayed more often at the Cloquet KOA than any other in the USA in our 30 years of KOA camping. I'm sure we will be back.

We have stayed at this KOA many times, love their cabins. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There Halloween weekend is the best, many activities for everyone! Definitely going back.
