The staff was so warm and friendly when we checked in. They told us about hiking in the area and the barge schedule for the day. The bathrooms were pretty clean, the last day the men's bathroom was flooding.

Most staff rude & didn’t seem to want to be bothered. Had cabin 2, both smoke detectors were inoperable. Also had cabin 3, porch light didn’t work. Said would fix next day but never returned to fix it. Campground is clean, nice showers & bathrooms. Rudeness of staff makes it unlikely we will return to this KOA.

I chose to camp instead of hotel when dad was in the hospital. The Hosts were gracious, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. I loved the cabin and the vicinity which was close to Jay Cooke State Park and a lot of hiking trails.

It was amazing and we loved how quite it was and very low on bugs also it would of been nice to do the scavenger hunt with the kids and been nice to have the hot tub atleast once when we were their

I stayed in a cabin. It was very quiet and close to a bathroom. Traveling alone, I felt completely safe.

Very well maintained campground. Beautiful flowers and very clean facilities. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. We will be going back to this location as we enjoyes the two room cabin.

A long walk to showers. And one satellite bathroom for the whole place. I had to hold it till morning because it was in use all day and night. And during the day there were people waiting to use the bathroom.

We stayed in a two room cabin which was perfect for our family. We cooked meals over the fire, swam in the pool, and went sight seeing in Duluth during the day. It was fun!

We stayed in a cabin, due to the rain. Normally we tent, but our gear was wet and it was raining. We enjoyed the cabin, the staff was nice, and the bathrooms were very clean.

Was well needed time away from my job in the nursing home and all the Covid craziness. The cabin was amazing beautiful and outhouse was much more then I expected. We only came across the idea to get away from it all for one night and your campground allowed us to bring our Laberdoodle which made it even more wonderful. Our puppy was so well behaved being the first time away from home.

Would not recommend going here right now if you plan on practicing any kind of social distancing. Even without a pandemic, this site is quite crowded and cramped. With the pandemic, we felt uncomfortable and left a day early. It was packed and playground was swarming with kids. It would be more comfortable if the was a smaller capacity limit. We also would have liked to pick our camper cabin spot.

The cabin we we're in was very dark even with the lights on. Definitely need brighter lighting. The showers and bathrooms we're kept clean and the campground was nice and quiet. The people who worked at the KOA we're helpful and friendly.

Pleasant and quiet campground with friendly, courteous people in a great location. One thing that would be great is a small refrigerator in the camping cabins. We travel in a car, usually with more than 2 people and all our gear, and don't haul along a big cooler as we get groceries in the nearest town. So many of the KOA's we have stayed at have them, so was disappointed to find none here.

It was the most delightful place to stay and has a lot of charm! Robert was very helpful over the phone and the entire staff were warm and welcoming! I hope to stay there again soon!

I love this KOA I believe I've stayed here about 6 years running. It is always clean and well kept. The staff is fantastic and always helpful. Great facility. Nice pool and hot tub. I have stayed both in tent and camping cabin and have been very happy with both. I look forward to my yearly visit.

We have stayed at this KOA many times, love their cabins. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There Halloween weekend is the best, many activities for everyone! Definitely going back.
