Enjoyed the pool and the fact that it’s a smaller KOA- and while they were full it still didn’t feel busy. Only suggestion is regarding the hayride for the kiddos. Instead of telling them there is a scary man in the woods throwing candy- have it be a mascot or dressed as a scarecrow. Scary man in the woods giving out candy gives the younger kids the wrong idea.

The stay was nice, but when we called to ask about filling a 20 pound propane tank we were told it was $3.50 @ pound or $70. Asked if that was a mistake did you mean $3.50 a gallon, replied no per pound. So we called back to verify and got the same response. That I feel is price gouging when the average price for a 20 pound tank is about $20.

We never received the schedule for activities sheet and did not know about ice cream and found out about hayride when it was going past us. Unknown what else we missed

We had a great weekend! We were there for a baseball tournament and was so nice to have our own spot to come back to between games and the pool to cool off from the heat. The only thing was our picnic table had a huge chunk missing on the one end. So the picnic table at our particular site could be updated. I know for some that could be a bigger deal with younger kids as it was sharp at the 1 en

The staff was VERY nice and accommodating. Bathrooms very clean. The grounds and main building are outdated. The entrance sign/flowers display was beautiful but then coming around the corner to see dumpsters was disheartening. Kids were disappointed at lack of kid activities (IE jump pillow) but playground was fun. Some of the campsites were very small. Overall we would stay again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Cloquet. It was convenient to Duluth and surrounding areas that we visited on day trips. The campground is well kept and the hosts are informative and helpful. It is always nice to have firewood delivered to your site! Game room has electronic games and pool tables and has a pleasant atmosphere. We would stay here again. Good camp store provided also.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were impressed from check in.. They even came to site and picked up our propane tank to fill it for us. Only thing needing improvement is gravel pet area.

We were there for two weeks and it was an excellent vacation. Bill and Barb were wonderful hosts and made sure everything was going well everyday. Thank you!!

Really nice experience. Great owner couple, and their personal gardener is First class. Just lovely setting. Super clean bathroom, laundry room and other facilities. We sleep well and did not mind the nearby passing train. Otherwise very quiet KOA. Would recommend this KOA and it's owners and gardener!

We visited Duluth area and went bike riding on Howard Munger Trail. It was nice to go sight seeing in the area and come back to this clean and safe camp ground.

We stayed a week. It’s a wonderful campground. We enjoyed our stay. Only problem is corners can be a little tight for larger rv’s but most people are accommodating.

I think we had the best site in the campground that was nice and private. The office / store was well kept and had your basic needs. Overall the campground and facilities where fairly well kept. Staff very helpful and nice. Only downfall was the RR tracks where close and loud. Not sure how to word it but should maybe note that on the website. I would stay again / recommend but would mention RR.

We were waiting on a part for our rv and they bent over backwards to help us. We were only suppose to stay one night and ended up staying 5.

Nice clean campground run by friendly helpful staff. The only issue is the trains. I never knew a train engineer could love his whistle that much at 2 AM.

Location fit our itinerary for a state park hiking expedition. Also accommodated our Duluth visit. The sites are snug, the facilities quite good, the rate is on the high side compared to other campgrounds we visit. Be prepared for a few trains in the night and yes, at first it sounds like they are going to visit your site "in person."

We were told at check-in by maybe the manager, the person seemed to be in charge at the office, that we would receive an onsite complimentary tank dump between 8:30 and 9 AM the next morning. We stayed until 10 called the office to find out the person to do this was busy but would be to our site soon. We waited until the 11AM check out time. This cost us several hours. Poor recommendation.

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. The pool was very nice and clean and most of the sites were shaded. The game room is a winner and we got DoorDash pizza delivered, so that was super. Unfortunately, we had a family that took up residence in the little 1-potty building at the back of the campsite but that's not the KOAs fault. We would definitely come back again! Nice owners!

When we arrived the type of spot (full hookups w/patio) reserved was not available and management switched us to a different spot without full hookups. We had to push them to make a price adjustment for our non-full hookup spot which was a lower rate. We've never had an issue like this with any other KOA where the management was less than accommodating. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

When we arrived we were greeted with smiling faces, and was offered for someone to lead us to our site. Told us the best way to set up to get the most out of our site. We were short on hose and electric to hook up. They offered extra to borrow during our stay. We will definitely be staying again.

The campground is small, but quite clean. It is obviously well cared for. Free septic pump outs is fabulous. Delivery of wood was quick. The showers were super clean. The pool is very small. The train noise is loud. It is a ways away from Duluth.

We have stayed at this KOA many times, love their cabins. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There Halloween weekend is the best, many activities for everyone! Definitely going back.
