The koa location is great but the tent sites need shade. We were in a spot separated from other campers by a wooden fence which was nice when winds were bad, however there were no trees for shade and next to the busy road in the campground. There are a few shady sites next to the bathrooms though. Hot tub was not working, pools are fun as well as jumping pillow and playground but no shade.

I liked staying in Cody KOA, even though is a few miles behind the town, because it is quiet. They have a free bus for the Rodeo. The facilities are clean, sites spacious. Laundromats pricier then average. Note there is a construction going on in 2021 (campground enlargement), some sites might be more affected then others.

Everyone was so friendly and the free pancakes yummy! Thank you Rick for coming and telling us that we had the extra night stay in the same spot!

Amazing campground, very CLEAN, and super accommodating. Doesn’t seem that many people follow campground quiet hours at this location. Not the campground’s fault, but did factor into the ability to get sleep before hitting Yellowstone the next day.

Was able to book cabin on fairly short notice. Staff was friendly and efficient. Restrooms and showers were clean.

Clean, good location, Paid for a deluxe site that advertised trees an shade, did not have any. It appeared to be a newly added site. Overall a good koa, clean bathrooms and no problems

Cody KOA is not very near Yellowstone. It is dusty and mediocre. They hyped it a lot and made it look and sound prettier in the advertising.

Great campsite - had a problem with 50 amp breaker - a person from the park came out to the site immediately, verified the problem and had an electrician out to replace the breaker in about an hour - best service we have ever had at a campsite.

Great park! Everything was clean. Only complaint, which is common for KOA is that the seating and lawn chairs at the pool is very limited. Need more seating!

I want to start out by saying the staff was good! The sites were highly variable. We had a “deluxe “site that was so narrow that our slide out and our neighbors were less than 3 feet apart, The other side had our patio Side-by-side with our neighbors and our fire rings were less than 4 feet apart. As disappointed as I am in the Cody KOA I am currently in a great one in Northeast Minneapolis.

The place is over crowded particularly the tent site and the overall grounds are unappealing with gravel everywhere.

The only thing good about this campground is a swimming pool. The sites are too small and too close together and their slope so much that my power levelers wouldn’t work. I don’t ever plan on coming back to this one there Hass to be one better out there.

It was during a 'bucket list' trip to Yellowstone Nat'l Park. Your campground had everything and conveniently located. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The basic cabins had more to offer than what I was expecting! Great stay, great hospitality!!

Super nice people working there, clean bathrooms and cabins. If you have any issues about your site; they make sure it gets fixed right away.

Stop through from Yellowstone to South Dakota! We did the rodeo in Cody and it was so fun!!! The shuttle was great!!

Friendly staff even though I got there 10 minutes before closing time. Free pancake breakfast the next morning was extremely good and well organized. I wish I could have stayed there multiple nights at my stay for our Yellowstone trip.

We stayed in the tent area. The site was like staying in a parking lot, but, the saving grace was the fence dividers they had up. The place was clean, the showers were nice and hot. The campground was quiet. Nice area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy. It is also the only campground I have ever stayed at that offered free pancakes. I would stay here again.

The bathrooms and laundry area were clean. But the sites are super packed together. It is not a comfortable place to stay. The staff was not friendly.

We picked the campground as it’s close proximity to Yellowstone and not knowing the area. Campground was under construction, which we were not made aware of. We had a nice site on the corner but no grass anywhere in the campground ~ just weeds and stickers! Some trees were nice in the area behind our site so we had morning shade. I used the laundry, which was clean but hot ~ no AC

Facilities were too far away from our corner. I assume the new build will have facilities in that corner. Very friendly staff. Great amenities. Y’all need more trees on the “barren side”. That would help. Good place. I would stay again.

I will give Cody KOA 5 stars. We were in the new section for 5 days and basically just hung out. Pools and hot tubs are ok, could use a little work but everything else was pretty good. The breakfast was excellent and the maintenance guys are really awesome. I would definitely come back and recommend. The drive to Yellowstone from Cody is a little to far from the the east gate. I prefer to access this side of Yellowstone from the west.
