Tent site was filthy when we arrived. Stones, beer cans and piles of dog poop. Cigarette buts and burned cans in pit. Moved to next site. Bathrooms were clean! Great location to cody.

The apparently semi-permanent residents of the campground with their in-your-face right wing extremist flags flying are being intentionally offensive. It’s actually creepy, and I prefer to avoid places where others find it necessary to spit their opinions in my neck. This has no place in a KOA campground.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The flags you are referring to are two United States of America Flags, a LSU football flag, and an Arkansas state flag. I don't know which of them offends you but we allow the flag of the United States to be flown anywhere on our campground.

Not really any shade for the tent sites but trees and shade on trailer pads. Air conditioning in trailer nothing in tent. You figure it out.

perfect location. Great staff that was very helpful and professional. Friendly place. Everyone had smiles on their face which says a lot. This staff is a keeper!!

I appreciated the extra, new, clean showers. Good location. The "grass" tent pad was mostly dirt, but I guess that is to be expected in late August.

It was a wonderful experience. Clean tentsite, near to bathroom, bathrooms clean, nice breakfast.. Free Pancakes..! Near to other place of interests. The only drawback is the tent sites are really close to one another. You can even hear them snore.

Great location, but not a lot of shade. Lots of traffic noice and not great views. But fine for a quick stay with easy access to National parks and Cody.

We had a last minute check in, Savannah was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay . The facilities were excellent, clean, and the pancake breakfast was tasty. Thank you so much for all your hard work to make our stay fantastic.

There was not much privacy, quiet hours were not enforced, and construction noise woke me up at 6 am.

All good, close to facilities, obviously cleaned daily, staff friendly, liked the breakfast offering it really helped with my plans and time. Wish I could have had some shade with all the heat.

Such an Awesome place we where traveling across the country from New York to California going through Yellowstone it was such a relaxing stay and the staff was extremely nice we will definitely be back

If you're visiting Yellowstone, know any destination in the park is 1.5 hours drive or more from the Cody KOA. Because of this I can't recommend. The KOA is nice enough - facilities are clean. It's very dusty here. There is a dog kennel beside, and I heard dogs barking all night long. Half of the laundry machines don't work. There are 2/3 bars of LTE service.

Way too many campers and not even close to enough bathrooms… considering how many people are in tents and cabins during peak season the number is way low- 4 stalls for men in the whole camp- hopefully your new renovation will address this…

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Site was clean and well taken care of. Such fun activities on site and loved having the shuttle.

This KOA definitely did not meet my expectations starting with the girl who checked me in. Apparently she had better things to do then help me because she very quickly showed me where our site was located in the map and then walked away. I should have been paid to stay in this site since my children were cleaning up the trash and coals all over the site left by others! Very disappointed!

I liked it. Although there is no shade for the tent. Great pool and sauna! Big and pretty. Clean bathrooms. Reasonably quiet at night. Enjoyed the town of Cody.

Overall nice place to stay. But, we reserved a camping spot for 5 people, and they gave us the smallest camping site (we walked around and checked).

Nice, clean campground. I liked the little fences around the tent area, felt a bit more private. Wish the bathrooms were cleaned twice a day though and that the doors would stay closed. Dryer was pretty loud at night! Great location.

The location was good, site clean 2 of our neighbors were great, but on our 3rd side we had a very loud and rowdy family. The kids were rude and the dad very loud, they used the privacy fence between our campsites as a clothesline so we had their dripping clothes on our side. The children had a burping/ farting competition at 10:30 at night. I love the idea of KOA, but you never know who you get

The staff were nice, friendly and accommodating. The facilities were well maintained. The pool was GREAT! They have basketball courts, outdoor games and an indoor game room. They have wifi and nice restrooms. Overall a great place to stay.

The staff was very friendly and the kampground was awesome. The only problem was someone next to us through a drink over the fence on our vehicle. On purpose I might add. Declaring they were from a blue state.

Camp grounds were very well maintained. Employees were very friendly. Close to many area attractions. But if you are just looking for a place to stop, stay and enjoy some family time, you could do it here and not leave.

I will give Cody KOA 5 stars. We were in the new section for 5 days and basically just hung out. Pools and hot tubs are ok, could use a little work but everything else was pretty good. The breakfast was excellent and the maintenance guys are really awesome. I would definitely come back and recommend. The drive to Yellowstone from Cody is a little to far from the the east gate. I prefer to access this side of Yellowstone from the west.
