We really enjoyed our stay at Cody KOA. Our patio site was long but very close together. Great location to explore Cody and Yellowstone. Hope to return some day.

Great place to stay . Convenient drive into Cody. Helpful and friendly staff. The camp store has one of the best selections of sweatshirts, t shirts, gifts,etc. we got to enjoy 50% off all items! Great!

Very nice staff. Facility was just a parking lot to sleep in. Convenient and quiet, right off the highway. The museum was fabulous. Rodeo was fun too.

We chose to stay in the Tepee this time. Pros: large patio area, firepit, chairs and a shady tree. Close to bathrooms. Cons: the tepee heats up during the day and there is no cross ventilation. There is a swamp cooler and heater which don't do much. Headlights and noise from campers is not blocked by thin canvas covering. Would choose cabin next time.

The staff was very friendly, the bathroom and laundry area was clean and tidy. The spaces along the west edge are the only spaces with grass and shade. All other spaces are gravel. Spaces are very close together. With the space layout, our picnic table was located right next to the adjoining space septic dump. There was a constant smell of sewer gas. No bathroom near the park addition

Urban camping, the patio and chairs were a nice addition if you enjoy your neighbors. But the staff was less than friendly, very short and not helpful. Not all restrooms were in working condition.

The pancake breakfast being one of the reasons to stay at KOA, we were at check in advised was closed without explanation. We and our travel mates were each given spots next to the road, which was so loud at times we couldn’t hear each other talk, with no shade, the worst spots in the campground even tho reservations made well in advance. We live in PA and travel out to Cody every couple of years. This is our definite “go to.” Clean cabins and bathrooms. Friendly staff.

Easy access on the main road to YELLOWSTONE if you are coming from Devils Tower or the East. The Staff (Jodie) was very professional and polite. Ground and roads were Rock/Dirt thru-out the park. Some shade. Most of the sites around me were not very level as we were toward the front of the park. Very windy during our stay. Would recommend, 4 hrs from Yellowstone.

Not up to par with other KOA's we've stayed in. The sites were way too close together (although it looked like they were in the process of building newer, roomier sites, so this could change in the future).The cable TV was out more than on. The general store was nice; some staff was pleasant, some were not. Location near town of Cody was convenient. May give it another shot if in the area again.

Although I had reserved a spot well in advance and I checked in before attending the Songwriter Festival, someone had come in and taken it after office hours before I arrived back at the campground. Fortunately, there was another site available, but it seems that there should be a better way to communicate if people are doing a "self check-in" after hours.

This is the 2nd deluxe cabin that we rented at KOA during our vacation this year and the cleanliness of both of the cabins was subpar. The stovetop was lined with dirty tinfoil that had food and debris in it. The bottom of the pots and pans we’re covered in soot from the propane gas and would not wash completely off. The site situation was very chaotic. There was no host to direct people to their sites which lead to people pulling into and setting up in the wrong direction. Sewer hoses were at peoples front door step. We saw the clerk deal with multiple people upset with the sites and how they were arranged. We also saw two that pulled in and left without staying. We could not pull out of our pull through site

I appreciated the extra, new, clean showers. Good location. The "grass" tent pad was mostly dirt, but I guess that is to be expected in late August.

We have stayed here before we like it, Trailer sites are just a bit too short and. Close together. The showers and laundery are clean, it could stand more showers on the east side. If we come back and they have room we will stay here again.

What a delightful place to stay! So many things to enjoy in a KOA where owners provided an array of nice things for us. We had a site with a privacy/wind screen, paved patio with table, chairs, fire ring and a BIG gas grill. E-Z on and off the interstate. There was Sunday morning breakfast for a nominal fee. Nice people in a nice place.

Everyone that we encountered was very helpful and friendly, except for one young man working in the gift ship on 8/31 around 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, he was rude and condescending with his tone. I still rated our stay very high, because I feel he is the exception, not the norm at this KOA. I only write this to make you aware that he is not a positive reflection of your camp.

We stayed in a Kamping Kabin. The cabin was very run down and not up to the KOA standards I’m used to seeing. The bathrooms/shower rooms were also in poor condition, other than the fairly new countertop & sinks. Overall, the Cody KOA is a disappointment when compared to most other KOA locations we have stayed at.

Also, we received a call on the next to the last day of our stay from one of the staff advising us we should have checked out at 11 that day. (We we’re about 2 hours away.) I called back and advised them of our confirmation email (the original), as well as when the check in email was sent….he kept repeating that we must vacate…rud

I will give Cody KOA 5 stars. We were in the new section for 5 days and basically just hung out. Pools and hot tubs are ok, could use a little work but everything else was pretty good. The breakfast was excellent and the maintenance guys are really awesome. I would definitely come back and recommend. The drive to Yellowstone from Cody is a little to far from the the east gate. I prefer to access this side of Yellowstone from the west.
