Facilities were fine. Our only complaint was with the spotty WiFi. It kept dropping out on us.

Good campground but like all KOA campgrounds, they need some tender loving care. A campground should be pristine for every camper, a lot lack the tender loving care to provide this.

We used our stay as a base for exploring Yellowstone, but then learned what a terrific amount of fun was available in Cody! We had a wonderful stay at Cody KOA -- thanks for having such a great campground!

Very small sites, not at all level, our picnic table was only a step or two away from the neighbors sewer hookup. We could not sit I arrived an hour early and could not check in without paying a $10.00 fee even when our site was available. I have never heard of such a ripoff. I have been a KOA member for over 20 years. The snack items in the store are overpriced. ($4.00 for an ice cream bar)

Very dusty due to all gravel lot and spaces. Felt as if I was in a construction site. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff not so friendly, got there 20 mins. early and said would have to charge me $10.00 to check in before 1:00 PM. I set in the drive until 1:00 PM, never have had to pay $10.00 at any other KOA for checking in a few mins. early, how ridiculous that is! I guarantee you they don't take $10.00 off your bill for checking out 30 mins. early! Won't stay there again!

Not their fault but the fault of pet owners who do not pick up after their pet BUT I went only one time, due to the lack of owners picking up after their pets, I would not take my dog back again.

Many of the regular lots are gravel (no grass) and seem very tight. If I was going to stay there again, I would book a deluxe site. There were some deluxe sites that were nice and had a little grass.

We enjoyed our three day stay at the Cody KOA. After exploring the area during the day, it was very helpful that the check-in/store remained open until 8pm. Too many KOAs close their shop too early and it was refreshing to have the Cody store open into the evening. One suggestion-better signage be used to specify which site numbers are down each drive.

Sites had no trees, were very barren. Location was very far from Yellowstone entrance. We ended leaving a day early after spending two long days driving back and forth to Yellowstone and moved to Jackson, Wy

The site was perfect, it had a nice patio with furniture for our use. We were situated between a 5th wheel and a class A which blocked the wind, too bad we could only spend the night, I would recommend staying before Labor Day as they have amenities available during the summer.

Only stayed for one evening. Easy site to get into and out of. Right off the highway, but was surprisingly quiet. Although not needed, this place had the strongest WiFi signal than any other place. Plan to return when there is more time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cody KOA. Our patio site was long but very close together. Great location to explore Cody and Yellowstone. Hope to return some day.

Great place to stay . Convenient drive into Cody. Helpful and friendly staff. The camp store has one of the best selections of sweatshirts, t shirts, gifts,etc. we got to enjoy 50% off all items! Great!

Very nice staff. Facility was just a parking lot to sleep in. Convenient and quiet, right off the highway. The museum was fabulous. Rodeo was fun too.

The staff was very friendly, the bathroom and laundry area was clean and tidy. The spaces along the west edge are the only spaces with grass and shade. All other spaces are gravel. Spaces are very close together. With the space layout, our picnic table was located right next to the adjoining space septic dump. There was a constant smell of sewer gas. No bathroom near the park addition

Urban camping, the patio and chairs were a nice addition if you enjoy your neighbors. But the staff was less than friendly, very short and not helpful. Not all restrooms were in working condition.

The pancake breakfast being one of the reasons to stay at KOA, we were at check in advised was closed without explanation. We and our travel mates were each given spots next to the road, which was so loud at times we couldn’t hear each other talk, with no shade, the worst spots in the campground even tho reservations made well in advance. Serious sound barrier need: trees, arbor vitae, or a wall

Easy access on the main road to YELLOWSTONE if you are coming from Devils Tower or the East. The Staff (Jodie) was very professional and polite. Ground and roads were Rock/Dirt thru-out the park. Some shade. Most of the sites around me were not very level as we were toward the front of the park. Very windy during our stay. Would recommend, 4 hrs from Yellowstone.

Not up to par with other KOA's we've stayed in. The sites were way too close together (although it looked like they were in the process of building newer, roomier sites, so this could change in the future).The cable TV was out more than on. The general store was nice; some staff was pleasant, some were not. Location near town of Cody was convenient. May give it another shot if in the area again.

Although I had reserved a spot well in advance and I checked in before attending the Songwriter Festival, someone had come in and taken it after office hours before I arrived back at the campground. Fortunately, there was another site available, but it seems that there should be a better way to communicate if people are doing a "self check-in" after hours.

I will give Cody KOA 5 stars. We were in the new section for 5 days and basically just hung out. Pools and hot tubs are ok, could use a little work but everything else was pretty good. The breakfast was excellent and the maintenance guys are really awesome. I would definitely come back and recommend. The drive to Yellowstone from Cody is a little to far from the the east gate. I prefer to access this side of Yellowstone from the west.
