Our group arrived at 11am for a KOA site, a Thousand Trails site, and a cabin. During COVID 19 - the amenities were closed. The campground was at most 1/3 full. The cabins 2 were both empty. The assigned site for our KOA party was empty. They still made our group wait until 12 noon to check in and set up and the cabin occupants until 4 pm. This was ridiculous.

Great campground, first time there

The campground is beautiful with mature pines but the spots are so close together you hear everything your neighbor is saying. The staff is top notch but they need to have security available when you call the office after hours. I cannot hold the campground accountable for the guest's actions and lack of control of their children and dogs. Stay during the week for a peaceful stay.

We’ve stayed at Grandy Creek many times and had wonderful experiences. I have yo say we were disappointed this visit. The grass was unkempt, and with all the ammenties closed, there should have been some sort of discount. At the very least, the per person fee should have been reduced. We were with a grpup of six families and we all felt that KOA took advantage of the fee structure in these time

This is our fourth year. We choose to stay here for all the amenities. Due to COVID we knew they would be limited, but I was put off that the only restrooms opened were by the pool. And they were not cleaned and stocked like they normally are as they were no toilet seat covers and the toilet paper ran out in the stall I had used. Very disappointing at the lack of response at the only amenity left.

Very nice camp ground, staff was extremely friendly. I suppose I was a little surprised their wasn't an additional discount considering all amenities and the store were closed due to covid (which I understand the closure, but not why their wasnt a discount to reflect the lack of extras the KOS's are notorious for). I imagine once the amenities are available again we will book again.

Our stay started off less than optimal as entrance to our site was muddy from recent flooding. However, the staff were helpful and brought in 2 loads of rock by tractor and all was good after that. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Full hookups were good and there was some trails within and nearby. It was a quiet campground, even when it got busier on the weekend. Lots of trees and open spaces.

It was our first outing so I have nothing to compare it too. Because of COVID-19 we could not use anything but that is no fault of yours. I did use the restroom once and it was spotless. Friendly staff. I do think I would like to look for campgrounds with wider spaces and a little more privacy. I am not sure if I will find them.

It was a great place. And the staff is so nice!

Quiet hours were not enforced, there was loud music well past midnight both nights we stayed. Unfortunately, the sites are small so other people's noise is more impactful. Check in was smooth, employees are friendly and welcoming. Lots of mud, maybe some gravel would have helped.

Nice campground and the staff was very pleasant and professional.

Very displeased that every single amenity was closed. The playground in town was open but this playground was closed?! One dog in the dog park at a time?! It is quite simple to social distance in a large dog area. I understand that much of this was out of your control however the price should of been discounted during this time to reflect the lack of services. I would of much rather went to Raser

Put in a request to be near campsite with others we were camping with.only reason we went...you guys were NOT organized

Overall a great place to stay. Look forward to returning. It would have been nice to get a modest discount since all of the amenities were closed.

It was a soggy weekend but we love to stay there. The staff are all so nice.

Campground was nice, due to covid19 many amenities were closed as expected. Nice spots, great staff, mature trees and pretty darn tidy. We did have a reservation issue, we had a party of 3 and I'd received an email a month ago stating we would be near each other, sadly that didn't happen and we couldn't have been farther apart. Good luck getting a response by calling or emailing, we didn't.

We've been here several times. Always a good time!

It was nice, hard to really rate as all the amenities were closed due to COVID.

Beautiful campground! Clean and we'll kept. Thank you!!

Our reservations were not initially together as requested, and the sites were small and there were already ruts next to our site. We were then billed an additional $50 for the ruts when we left! It rained all weekend, all activities were closed. We made the best of it and had a good time- but did not feel valued or welcomed By staff. No direct line to talk to a person makes it issues hard

Beautiful campground with lots of trees; I wish they would have told us while we were checking in that all the sites are back ins-we could have unhooked the car earlier than we did. Also, we thought it had full hookups but there was no sewer dump at our site wo we had to go dump and then circle around again to park the RV.

Nice quite stay

Our first stay at KOA. We were happy to enjoy the relatively open spaces and especially the friendly camp manager and other crew.

Due to the COVID19 pandemic and the governor's lockdown, no activities were available. This limited the things to do during the 3 days on site, to hiking and biking. As my grand daughter said she was beyord (beyond bored)!

Loved the Rails to Trails bike ride! All was fine... however, next time, just a tad less rain... okay?

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We will do our best with this next time. :)

Even during the pandemic with almost all of the amenities closed AND all day rain and thunder, it was still a nice stay. The park is large and the RV spots are roomy with picnic tables and fire rings. The cabins and tent sites are in a field a little ways away from the RV sites. There are a lot of gravel roads for my kid to ride his bike On. Staff was friendly

At other KOA’s I’ve been to this year, the staff would ride around on golf carts, engaging with campers, talking to kids, petting their dogs. At Grandy KOA they ‘patrol’ the campground. Reminding people just SITTING in cars about the speed limit, etc.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was very neat and comfortable. We had a very good time.

Great clean and orderly well Kept good staff

Super maintained. Big shady trees and huge grass fields for doggies to relax. Nice staff... Close to Mnt Baker and fun trails. We'll be back.

The stay was great and the staff was so nice. Only problem was that there was a leak somewhere around the faucet. It was causing a puddle to flow into our campsite. Luckily we caught it or it could have been worse. We filled our tank then shut water off and disconnected. Would have been nice to get a discount but it won’t keep us from coming back.

Even though everything was not available for use and a full day of rain on Saturday, the staff and the park were a fantastic, quiet getaway that was better than we could have expected.

This is a very nice campground, large sites, wide open areas. Due to Covid-19 most areas in the campground were closed, which is understandable. The only thing I see is the fire pits have seen better days. They could be better placed in some sites so smoke does not fill camper. The staff is very friendly and answered all our questions and concerns!

We were greeted with a very pleasant lady named Bambi, appropriate for in the woods, given all of our packet what was available to us great pool during the summer play area for the children dog area for the dogs lots of room to spread out also availability of yurts and cabins. Great proximity to exploring the Cascades

This campground was clean and quiet. My dogs loved the dog park and walking around the camp. Because it is almost the end of the season, there were no activities but we had our own entertainment. The only blight was a run down trashy trailer with trash strewn all over their campsite. It looked like a homeless encampment. Not sure why it's allowed.
