RV Reviews

I love the area of this KOA. It’s very pretty. The sites for RV’s are nice size and have trees which I like. Did not use the restrooms/showers. Some of the barn buildings could use a little TLC. I still like this KOA and will be back. We go almost every year.

KOA Concrete "could" be a gem but it needs work. We like the dump station, so good job. The pool area was being remodeled and "hopefully" it will be done in a way that looks very professional. The miniature golf was closed (understandably due to Covid) but it looked horrible and the lack of maintenance was making it look very run down. The river sites could be amazing but are very poorly done.

We have been camping here every year for the past ten years and this was probably the worst one yet. All the fun kid stuff being closed is out of their hands, but the rudeness checking in was uncalled for as well as their golf cart encounters. Everything is very run down. They should take this time to fix things up a little since they aren’t preoccupied with activities. Probably won’t come b

It was pretty good. Because everything was closed down we went to Baker Lake down the road which was nice. Our family likes the big open field and the trails for walking and bike riding. We are sad that all the amenities are shut down right now. We hope that they can reopen soon.

Even though everything was close it was very enjoyable. Thank you

Easy check in. Lots of trees and facilities.

Wonderful wooded campsite. Campground sites have nice trees next to him. Spaces were of nice size. Ton of grassy area for kids to play in. Do to COVID, we did not use the amenities. The fire pit bit close to the RV. Cable TV would have been nice but overall a great stay. Please consider to add recycling.

The whole facility is quite run down and in need of numerous repairs. The camp spot "pad' was filled with various small bits of trash, which makes it even more challenging when camping with children. The picnic table at our spot was exceptionally small, dirty, and in need of repair.

Nothing was available for the kids to play and no pool

It was a great place to stay. Had a dog and was able to take the dog out to play in open fields which was great. very clean and every one was great.

We were in spot 108. It was a fantastic spot! We loved the seating, concrete slab, and fire pit. It was also really nice to have the field across from us. Everything was closed due to Covid, but the kids enjoyed the freedom of riding their bikes all over. Our friends also camped and were in space 25. I would not have liked being over there packed in like sardines. We all hung out at our site

Lots of kids, and fun for all

Our 30 amp plug was broken.

It was a fun stay. It was clean and a nice setting. Spots are a bit close in some areas but surprisingly quiet. Would I come again? Probably but would try for a spot along the creek. Although just up the road to Baker Lake are more spacious NF campgrounds that offer some privacy although no hookups.

Staff was extremely friendly. My one disappointment was due to covid 19 restrictions all camp amenities were closed we knew this ahead of time but booked our trip anyways. We have 4 children and were charged 34$ for 2 nights to have them. I assume this is to cover the great kid activities that usually run, but those were not available so I feel the 34$ fee was unnecessary and kind of a bummer.

No amenities open, still charged full price. Got hassled by the management several times. Hard to relax

We had a great stay. The staff was very accessible, especially given the difficult circumstances with COVID-19 restrictions. Great job overall.

No one wore masks in the restroom... just ignored signs. Fires were very Smokey. Campground was way overcrowded- all about $ and not safety. We were told no fireworks- we went there to protect our small dog. We were not warned about the potential of noise due to the proximity of so many homes. Fireworks raged until after 1 am. Had to drug the dog. Cramped site... Lady at gate was lovely.

I've never given less than 5 stars, but could not quite do that this time. I understand the closures of activities and kids attractions out of necessity of COVID restrictions, but to have only one bathroom open didn't make a lot of sense to me. (Seems that it would have more people in a smaller place?) If kids can only play outside, I would hope that the fields and grounds would be kept up more.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. They take pride in keeping the campground neat and clean.

Haven’t been here since 2 years. Property is looking run down. Disappointed that the booking page doesn’t say what is closed/not available for COVID or that construction was going on. We do like staying to be out by the mountain away from the city near the lakes.

Poor maintenance, should reduce fees during corona virus limitations. Power box switch dangerously marked don't turn off, muddy areas need gravel, water pressure high enough to damage RV, laundry room limited to 2 days per wk? Bad place for the price.

Campground staff were friendly as can be. One of the two bathrooms was closed/out of order, but the other bathrooms were kept very clean and there didn't seem to be an issue with access, even on a long weekend. The showers were not very hot, but functional and never had a wait to use when I needed.

We’ve stayed here before and loved it. This time, there weren’t any amenities open, and the price was still the same. Also, we were stuck in a site with the septic tanks, so there were giant wood crates all over our site. No room to even set up all our stuff. Definitely not the best experience this time around.

This is a wonderful campground with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy nature. Even though many amenities were closed due to covid and construction, it was still a pleasant stay.

While some of the spots are close together we got an amazing spot with plenty of space for the kids to run around. Thanks for a great stay!
Jul 06, 2020
Paid the same price but all of the amenities were closed. No one enforced wearing masks in the common areas. Did not feel safe.

Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Nice level spots for our RV.

The staff was great! The sites were very close together with vey little privacy.

Welcoming staff; clean facilities; care taken about social distancing and masks; bathrooms very clean.
Jul 04, 2020
All was good for the most part. Disappointed that half the showers in the second bathroom area were closed and that the main bathroom closed the first night we were there. And remained closed throughout our stay.

Concrete, KOA is our favorite place to stay. The employees are always so nice and helpful. Owe are looking to see what’s available in The coming months! I. Love that we can go to baker lake in less than a half hour. The trailer space is nice and I like that we are not on top of other trailers. It’s just an awesome place to camp.

Its an excellent, well maintained campground. Staff was very helpful and nice. It was sad to see facilities (Including the store) closed due to the virus but we understand that.

It was terrible. The bathrooms were closed, then opened, then closed again. Nothing was open, I understand stupid coronavirus nonsense. There was a drunk guy who passed out in the empty campsite next to ours. We tried to roust him, but no luck. We tried calling the camp phone number for help, but no answer. Lastly, for 50 bucks per night I'd expect more than an old wheel for a fire pit.

We needed more gravel in the campsites; it was very muddy. The one and only restroom was too far away. No added attractions were available. We understand the COVID situation.
Jun 29, 2020
We were given a good size space with sewage and intermittent direct sun which was great. There were limitations due to the pandemic still but otherwise was in good shape.

Clean and staff is very helpful.

Very clean place staff was friendly and helpful Wish we could have played golf. ( not your fault )

The campgrounds were super clean easy to enter exit and located perfectly for exploring the North Cascade Loop. We liked it so much we booked another week to do more exploring

Our group arrived at 11am for a KOA site, a Thousand Trails site, and a cabin. During COVID 19 - the amenities were closed. The campground was at most 1/3 full. The cabins 2 were both empty. The assigned site for our KOA party was empty. They still made our group wait until 12 noon to check in and set up and the cabin occupants until 4 pm. This was ridiculous.

We were greeted with a very pleasant lady named Bambi, appropriate for in the woods, given all of our packet what was available to us great pool during the summer play area for the children dog area for the dogs lots of room to spread out also availability of yurts and cabins. Great proximity to exploring the Cascades

This campground was clean and quiet. My dogs loved the dog park and walking around the camp. Because it is almost the end of the season, there were no activities but we had our own entertainment. The only blight was a run down trashy trailer with trash strewn all over their campsite. It looked like a homeless encampment. Not sure why it's allowed.
