Creating memorable guests experiences!
Shelly's professional journey began in the medical field, where she spent many years working in pediatric cardio/thoracic surgery. She later transitioned into plastic surgery and managed a busy surgical center. During her time in the medical field, she played a role in life-changing surgeries for children and has assisted with several heart transplants! While healthcare was a rewarding field, Shelly chose to shift directions and pursue a path that would allow her to engage more closely with people in a relaxed environment. Her transition into hospitality and operations has been a natural fit, and she notes that she is excited to bring that same dedication to her new role at Dayton KOA.
Shelly has worked at many KOA Campgrounds including Glenwood Springs West KOA, Nashville KOA, Lake Conroe KOA, Albuquerque KOA and has spent the last 3 years at the Tucson KOA.
Shelly is particularly excited about the opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests while leading a team in a beautiful, outdoor setting. Growing up, her family did not take many vacations, but when they did, they went tent camping at KOA. Those are some of her most treasured memories. She hopes to make a lasting impact on both the KOA team as well as the guests who return year after year.
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
