This was not a good stay for us. We booked 2 nights and pulled out after the first night. They have a nice lake and some good sites. We did not get a nice site. Tight, messy and cramped. Ours was in the middle of what looked like some long term residents. Not very well kept and very close to our site. Facilities need work. Staff was trying but overwhelmed. We will check back in a couple years.

I would not have stayed if I had known it was all dirt and mud and NO WIFI. SUCH A MESS. 3 days of rain and mud everywhere, I would think a load of gravel would make a big difference. Had ,mud on car and camper, big mess. Thanks no more. with you.

Overall, we had a very nice stay. There have been a lot of improvements, but there are still some needed. Staff was amazing! My son had a great time on the waterslide and in the lake.

The entrance road is a mess (dirt with holes). The campground roads are narrow and difficult to maneuver larger rigs. Some roads with trees partially in the roadway. The dimensions for vehicle length on sites are unrealistic. The park office closes at 5pm. Not the KOA standards I am accustomed to.

worst experience ever had camping. We never received a check in email with details, until the day we checked out. The manager called and left a rude message stating that since I "never checked in at the office there unpaid balance", charge my account without authorization. reservation paid in full online. Office closed at arrival. No grill. No picnic table Life jackets unavailable, hole in boat

The campground is staffed by very friendly and helpful professionals. While checking in I learned my female Rottweiler was not welcome. I have not encountered this before at a KOA and will read the pet rules every time in the future. There are no vicious breeds. Polina is very sweet!

Site #110 has a lot of clay around campsite that holds water easily and makes a mess. Constant mud despite very little rain. Entry road has major pot holes. Not sure this campground represents a typical KOA.

Friendly staff. I was told over the phone that the store was open til 7:00pm Sun-Thurs only to arrive and find that it closed at 5:00 on those days. I experienced a level of mosquito bites that I have not encountered at any other RV camp. Loved the hiking trail and the beach. Restrooms and showers were decent too. Had a great time overall!

Lovely shaded spot right on the water. Restrooms/showers were clean. Laundry area clean. Awesome hiking/biking trail, beautiful path through a canopy of trees.

This was a great place to stay if you want to visit Detroit and Ann Arbor. Staff was very nice. Bathrooms could use updating.

Need to do some major pot hole repair on roads. I know under new management and they were very nice and trying hard to please. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

This campground is new to being a KOA and has a long way to go to get up to the standards of most KOA's They charge a high premium rate for a very low quality site. The roads are too narrow, there are trees that prevent larger rigs from completing turns and it is VERY under developed. I'm sure that with a lot of site work that they will eventually deserve to charge double the going rate.

Great place to stay! Some really beautiful sites for sure. I tent camped in open area which was nice, but will definitely upgrade to shaded tree site. I would absolutely return to this KOA!!!!

too much mud/bumpy roads/standing water issues that need to be resolved. Would not recommend until roads are taken care of and water retention issues are resolved. Staff was inefficient at desk. Perhaps consider thinning out number of sites to eliminate the site congestion where slide outs overlap the neighboring fire ring.

Need to pave roads, fill potholes or at least gravel them. Campsites are on top of each other. Keep pets on one side of campground. It would be so much nicer if you would reduce the number of sites you had. Get rid of the rustier fire pits. They are also an eye sore. Rain is your worse enemy. Problem solve around that issue

They're definitely trying, but not hard enough to justify the premium prices. It was mostly pot holes, puddles and chaos. No paving, just a tractor poorly smoothing out the dirt. Our site was covered in water balloons and garbage. The woman checking our car tag at noon was really insistent that they would be enforcing them. But, at 7 pm, no one was up front checking. Why bother with the pretense?

We have never camped in a site as bad as this one! Mud and mold everywhere. You couldn’t use the picnic table if you wanted it was a top of green mold. No gravel in sites only mud. We realize there had been rain but campground would have had problems before this. We were in a section of the campground that looked like permanent residents, outside appearance trashy Not KOA expectation. Disappo

Arrived after close on a Thursday night, pleased brochure left with my name indicating tent spot and amenities, informative and efficient. Sign indicated office would open at 9 a.m., didn't. Impressed by lake, pavilion, fishing area, etc. Pretty unimpressed by showers; 2 of 5 lights out, impossible to see. Not clean (dead flies, etc.) Paint (paint?) peeling off soap shelves.

Our site had a bit of trash, cigarette butts etc on it, my wife had to call to have it picked up. Also we changed a earlier reservation to this weekend. On the previous reservation we were on a full hookup lake front for $70 per night, this one was only water and electric on the lake. I would think not being full hookup it should have been cheaper? I didn't think about until after the fact.

The roads going in and out and throughout the park were horrible. Mud and potholes. Even when they plowed them it didn’t help because they had no material on them. It’s hard to get a RV washed and everything was tossed and turned when we came in and left. Rain was the excuse but not the whole problem. Buy some material!!!

KOA was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fun activities for the kiddos. Site was a good size and level. We'll be back.

The actual campground and lake were nice, but I would never stay in site 3 again. Right on the road and the high traffic made it difficult to unwind. The dogs loved the lake though!

The grills need to be kept up on, we couldn't use ours as it was swarmed with maggots everywhere, Very disgusting. The staff was exceptional though.

The lots were very muddy and too narrow. I could not open my awning because it would hit a tree. The putt-putt area was unkept and unusable.

Nice treed lots. No cable. Nice beach for kids, including two story spiral water slide. Women's bathroom out of TP the one time wife visited. We stayed nine nights waiting for grandson to be born in Ann Arbor. Convenient for visiting and shopping. Several days of rain left roads and lots a bit muddy. This park was recently taken over by KOA, and we expect only good improvements to happen soon

A fabulous park! Our site 118 was on the shore of a small lake/pond. Our grandson caught numerous fish, (catch and release) right there from our campsite! It was shaded with trees and very peaceful. It was a full hookup and quite level which made it even better. We saw swans, geese, ducks and fireflies in the evening. (We’re from the west so we don’t see fireflies.) Highly recommend this KOA!

We spent several days camped here in December-January, preparing to travel west for the winter. We needed access to hookups and space to connect the tow vehicle. The site was really perfect for this purpose, even under 6" of snow. The owners were helpful, the rate was great, and from what I could see in the dead of winter, the campground and lake would make for some good camping in happier weather.
