at check in, Changed to a very nice convenient site. Entry road was a little rough, but they have had a lot of rain. New KOA, but you can see they are putting a lot of work into the grounds. E-mail directions from KOA were incorrect- told the manager who said would take care of.

It rained two days while we were there but the kids fished all day they got out in the paddleboat everybody just had a great time I know the office ladies were very nice

It had been raining a lot for several days and raining when I checked in. They put me in one of the only sites that was mud. As I walked the camp ground there were only two that had no rock on the parking site and I got one of those two. NOT HAPPY.

It was wonderful. We stayed right along the water and it was very peaceful and Serene. The Rai made the drive in/out a mess, so a gravel or paved entrance would be a great addition.

I loved our lakefront site. It was so peaceful. The employees were very friendly and I liked having the escort. It kept all the neighbors from trying to "help" us back in. My only complaint is that it lists on the website that you have a dog park and putt putt course, yet those are not built yet. Those amenities are one reason I booked here. Perhaps you should change that on the website for now.

We had a quick check in and a very nice and shaded spot. Plenty of things for the kids to do and great communication throughout the weekend.

We enjoyed our stay on the lake, but someone left their raft so we had to pull it out and move it in order to be able to swim/fish. The raft was taken while we were away from our site, by who we assumed was the owner..the next day we were yelled at saying we stole it. This made us leave in a bad mood and not want to come back. Unfortunately we store our camper here so we will be back.

Great place for families with children with the beach and scheduled activities. However for us it was too noisy after the quiet time hours.

It is a large campground. Needs improvements but you can tell the KOA is already working on them. Our site was all dirt with little sun. Our kids site was all grass with no trees. Can’t wait to see how the campground comes along. There is a lot of potential.

Had a great time. Wish you had two different spots for bathrooms. At least I got my exercise for the weekend. All the workers very nice and helpful.

Quiet and relaxing. Other than the occasional marijuana smell (which I do understand how hard that is to control.) our stay was great!

Called and asked about your park was told there was sandy beach to swim only reason we came.. wish someone would of told us the truth.. we’d would’ve gone to the Petersburg one instead A little disappointed in being misinformed Waterslide was basically a outdoor slide with water All the amenities should be available if there listed We left that night didn’t stay the night we paid for

Our family really does love this campground. The staff, other campers, the lake its all great. Only issues we had were with the rates and all the extra fees. It just seems like you charge for every little thing you can like golf, bikes, boats and most of all the waterslide. As upset as my kids were it was closed during the week im a little relieved it was because i was on a really tight budget.

Would be nice to have a pickup window of a couple of hours for trash pickup at the site. Just telling us that it needs to be out no later than 10pm is not very helpful. I would like to avoid having animals make a mess, so I ended up taking the trash to the dumpsters when needed. Also the map is out of date. It doesn't show the current correct location of the dumpsters.

One of my favorite campgrounds! We go every year in July! The lake is so nice and the staff is so helpful & friendly. Only downfall was that the store never had ice cream out or coffee....however I believe that they were short staffed, and we were there during the week rather than the weekend.

We were disappointed because the rules clearly stated about quiet time however, fireworks were going off well past midnight and the site next to us were very loud and there were many more people that the rules allowed and the hosts did nothing. Another disappointment was that the grass was very very long a weedy which made for walking out dog unenjoyable. Other than that all was good.

The kids enjoyed the activities, the young lady running the activities was really good with the kids. My complaint is that the two sites they gave us are definitely not made for 31ft campers. We did not have any space to pull out our awning & to put our stuff. Our fire pit & table was on the other side of our camper & in the other people's space. I recommend thinning out trees & make more space.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. They made a very favorable impression for our first stay there. We will definitely use this KOA the next time we are in the area.

Check in was very delayed due to short staff, and staff was not very knowledgeable (but nice). Park lost power due to weather about 1 hour after we arrived. Our campsite was very nice and shaded. I would stay here again given I had the same campsite.

The staff was very nice as is the camp store. Our lake front site was great. The lake is lovely. The roads are dirt/gravel and need work. Overall, the campground is not great. Landscaping needs attention. The beach is not very nice, could use raked and some new sand. Water slide only open on weekends and mini golf is dilapidated and closed. The playground is okay but could use some cleaning.

I’m a novice at camping. My experience here left me and my friend wanting more. The staff was so welcoming and knowledgeable. They helped me feel at ease. The place is well maintained and clean. Loved the Saturday night dance party too!!

This campground was the worst of the many I stayed at on our vacation. The semi permanent residents need to keep their areas clean and neat, not store excessive things outside and in tarp sheds. Bathroom needs to have a paper towel dispenser or air dryer. They did set out a roll of paper towels, but it got wet or was used up quickly. I hope changes can be implemented to make it a better.

I stay here 2-3 times a summer and always have a great time. The park is always clean, the lake is clean and beautiful, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasure staying at this KOA. Dean

The location is great but the amenities were lacking. There was only 1 bathhouse that was far from the outside of the campground. Only a few showers and toilets even worked. The showers were extremely small, had no hooks or anything for your stuff. I was very disappointed. The sites were pretty close together but The lake was beautiful.

We were assigned a site that was not ready, they were working on electrical. There were multiple lake front spots open but none with full hook up. We ended up with electric & water only. They gave us free wood only. No discount on our site prices, then we asked to stay extra day they gave us 10% off, then that ending I received text stating if want to extend stay receive 25% off we never

When we arrived the grass and not being cut we requested several times for them to cut it it was way above the ankle. They were also numerous mushrooms that we found out to be poisonous that we asked to be removed and they never did we spent four days under the circumstances with dogs that we were afraid to let out

I gave it 3 stars because of the beautiful lake. We had a great view but the park is not well maintained. There were pot holes and sites were cramped. Also, people were not made to observe quiet hours and a group near us partied loudly until around 2:30am.

We spent several days camped here in December-January, preparing to travel west for the winter. We needed access to hookups and space to connect the tow vehicle. The site was really perfect for this purpose, even under 6" of snow. The owners were helpful, the rate was great, and from what I could see in the dead of winter, the campground and lake would make for some good camping in happier weather.
