The staff was great and polite. We loved the beautiful spring fed lake. The amount of trees was amazing. This was 31 minutes from home but felt like a trip into the wilderness. Bravo!!

No WI Fi. Not able to mail a letter USPS. Office always 'closed' for inventory. Other campers did not pick up after their dogs.

The campground is lovely, but we would not choose to stay on site 22 again. The rental RV nextdoor to site 22 was rented for 1 night of our last stay, and it was not a pleasant experience being next to it. In addition, there is no shade at all on site 22.

We booked our stay because it was supposed to be the safari weekend, but we were not told till that Saturday (which we had to ask)that they were no longer doing the animals. Had we known that, we would have cancelled our weekend reservations and made it for another time.

Love this campground! Love the peaceful & quiet lakeside site we were in. Love the dark at night. No annoying street lamps or lights on the utility boxes. Sites are a good size, bathrooms are nice although showers need to have shelves to put you stuff on. Security needs to do rounds after 11pm to enforce quiet hours. We had very loud, rude guests across from us talking & swearing until 12:30am.

My stay at this new KOA couldn't have been better! Everyone was so kind and helpful, always available and willing to help when needed. It was my first time using my RV and they helped me feel like I was a pro! My grandson really liked all of the fun stuff for kids, especially the water slide, huge playground, and paddle boat rental.

Had a wonderful long weekend. Congratulations on the upgrades to your grounds and facilities! We always plan three or four stays a year with you and your staff is always pleasant and helpful.

It is overgrown with trees. I had to do a multi-point turn with only 2 inches to spare just to make a left with my 29' TT. The beach are could be nice if it weren't overgrown. Sorry to say, but the shop is a joke. It is a great spot for a campground. It just needs to be updated.

Everything was good except loud neighbors that had 10-11 year old girls playing vulgar music and 2 constant yappy dogs. Other then that great stay.

I have camped at this campground for over 20 years. What I witnessed this past weekend was just sad. Whomever Todd is, he needs to work on his peoples skills.The way he spoke to the staff was completely unacceptable. I was embarrassed and upset for them. I witnessed this person belittle and humiliate several of them in front of me.

Besides the prices skyrocketing, the fact that the stores closes at 5pm is ridiculous. Not to mention Todd (manager?) belittling employees in front of guests is really unnecessary and part of management 101. It’s something you just don’t do.

It was great. Everyone that works there went out of their way to help us. Very friendly staff, always waved or said hello when driving by in golf carts. One staff member tried to help with an issue on the trailer. The park is clean and well maintained.

Sites were a bit small. Doesn't appear to have been a spring clean up prior to opening for the season as there were lots of leaves and branches. I also couldn't find an outdoor trash receptacle anywhere so I had to drop my dog poo bags in the ladies room trash can while on our walk. Beach could be nice but goose poop everywhere. Recommend planting grass on sites in dirt areas to reduce dust/mud.

I loved that someone drove you to the site and helped direct to back in. Everything was clean.Kids loved playground. The only thing I would suggest is enforcing quiet hours and camping etiquette. We had several people/kids walk and ride bikes through our site.

The staff was very helpful and friendly!!! The other guest were friendly. Any issue, was worked on immediately. Love this park. Only issue, didn’t have my favorite Ice Cream. Lol.

I know you have a lot to do, but your rates went up with very little visible benefits to that additional cost. We saw a staff that was just learning the ropes and were at times confused by the situations that would be normal for a camp. You are only 30 minutes away from our home, so we will still be staying there on occasion, but I would not drive from any distance to stay at your campground.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Considering the construction I would not return until some things are fixed. The entry road could be fixed and should be done asap. Cable TV would be nice to avoid block satellite signal.

I would say all in all it was a great time. They really are trying to fix and update the campground. The staff was very friendly. The one thing I would suggest is updating the playground equipment. Thank you KOA

Loved our waterfront site. REALLY truly appreciate that security kindly enforced quiet time. This was the first time for us camping with an RV of any type so we were very nervous. Bill helped us back our 5th wheel into our site like a pro with patience and professionalism. He also helped us get all of our hookups in place. We extended our stay twice because we enjoyed the helpful staff!!!

Had a good time even though it rained. Walks around the lake and ice cream made the stay much better. The prices in store are reasonable and staff very respectful to my children, as they were making purchases on their own. Nice place to feel safe letting kids be kids.

We spent several days camped here in December-January, preparing to travel west for the winter. We needed access to hookups and space to connect the tow vehicle. The site was really perfect for this purpose, even under 6" of snow. The owners were helpful, the rate was great, and from what I could see in the dead of winter, the campground and lake would make for some good camping in happier weather.
